Story
We have had Dash since he was 8 weeks. He is very loved. He is almost 6 years and in the last six months he has become increasingly aggressive towards our female. He is very territorial and growls and snaps at her. He becomes aggressive with us if we try to correct him. We are heartbroken to re-home him but with small children who visit often we are concerned. He will be best with no children and no other pets. He loves to fetch a ball or frisbee he will sit, stay (sort of) lie down, shake and loves affection. Loud noises seem to stress him out like whistles from a game on tv or gunfire on a tv show. He likes a soft bed in a den or kennel some small space he can get into to feel better. He enjoys car rides. He is a little wary of men but typically adjusts if you let him get comfortable. We want a loving home for him and feel helpless at this point having tried medication and behavior therapy.

Name: Frankie Breed: Miniature Border Collie Sex: Male Age: 3 years Spayed/Neutered: Yes Vaccinations: Vaccines will be up to date - all vaccinations required after adoption are the responsibility of the adopter. Heartworm: Negative Housetrained: Yes Microchipped: Yes Adoption Fee/Donation: $400 Important!! Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so important in this puppy's life. Do you have the time? Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter, heart worm test if applicable) microchip, worming and flea/tick/heart worm (if applicable) preventatives. Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need. ##2605800##

Story
This is Max, he is 6.5 yards old and I have had him since he was 6 weeks old. And this is very very hard for me to do but I have a newborn on the way and the past couple years I have had this issue with him growing at the smallest things. Granted he has never snapped or bitten anyone, but I just can’t having that happen to my new born. I want him to go to someone who has the time and patience he needs. I want to make sure he goes to someone who will love him because for more than 6 years he has been my best friend and I couldnt imagine him going to someone who doesnt treat him good. He is very good with cats, dogs he CAN be good with them if they are more on the calm side. Max is more on the lazier side he likes to relax. He will play of course but he mostly just relaxes. But ever since he got attacked by a dog at the dog park he has been iffy with dogs but I still try to socialize him when I have the time. Please feel free to ask me anymore questions about him.
