Story
Hela was the only of her litter that was born and raised outside to have survive. She was taken in by The Ironwood Homestead and Sanctuary where she got a lot of exposure to other animals and gave birth to a litter of wonderful baby boys. She loves trying to herd the chickens and has a knack at finding old bones to chew on. She loves exploring outside and would do well with someone that also spends lots of time outside. She is great with other dogs, cats, goats, birds (chickens and larger). She knows a few tricks like sit, stay, up, spin, and paw but can be too excited or stubborn at times. She is VERY food motivated and loves to run around.

🐾 Meet Otis! 🐾Otis is a 5-year-old Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix with a big personality and an even bigger brain! 💙 This handsome boy came to the shelter as a stray and, sadly, was never reclaimed.Otis is extremely smart and already knows his Sit and Down commands! He has a playful personality and seems to really enjoy squeaky tennis balls—one of his favorite ways to have some fun! 🎾He seems to do well with other dogs, although he has only been kenneled with one other dog here at the shelter. Because of that, we recommend bringing your dog in for a meet-and-greet before adoption. 🐶We aren't sure how Otis would do with cats. We think his playful personality may also make him a great companion for children.If you're looking for a smart, playful boy who is ready for a second chance, Otis could be your guy! ❤️💰 Adoption Fee: $110 + tax❤️ Heartworm testing is available upon adoption if desired.Come meet Otis and see if this clever boy is the perfect addition to your family! 🐾Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted.
