Story
Leela is the sweetest girl who loves to play and cuddle. She is crate trained and house trained. She joined our home May 2024 from her prior owner. Two weeks after bringing her home, signs showed she was losing her sight. The vet confirmed SARDS - Sudden Acute Retinal Degeneration Syndrome. We have confirmed that she cannot see anything - only small bits of light. Her sense of smell is deteriorating as well, so she really relies on her hearing for everything. She needs a home where the owner is home with her the majority of the time and where there are no other animals. She does not get along with any cats or dogs, and I believe that is due to the fact that she simply needs to defend herself since she cannot see.

Story
Jazzy is the kind of dog who brings energy and happiness into your life—without overwhelming it. She’s playful, friendly, and fun, but also has an independent side that makes her easy to live with. Her past isn’t pretty—but you’d never know it. Jazzy is social and confident, great with dogs of all sizes and cats, and naturally fits into whatever environment she’s in. She’ll happily join in on playtime, go on walks, or even randomly take a dip in the pond—then settle down like it’s no big deal. She’s affectionate without being clingy and has that ideal balance people are always looking for but rarely find. Good fit: someone who wants a fun, social dog that adds energy and joy to daily life without being overwhelming or demanding. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $500 (includes transport + vetting) Bonus: Each adoption includes a 30-minute phone consultation with a professional trainer Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ, VT Think you might be a good fit? Story
Meet Salsa, a spunky little pup with a big personality! She loves to play outside, wrestle with the other dogs, and has absolutely no idea she's smaller than everyone else. She confidently keeps up with the big dogs and brings endless fun wherever she goes. When playtime is over, Salsa is all about the snuggles. She loves curling up with her people and soaking up all the affection she can get. Salsa is doing well on a leash and is learning her manners. She may pull a little at first, but she quickly realizes that doesn't get her very far and settles in nicely. With a little continued practice, she'll be a wonderful walking companion. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate pup with a fearless spirit and a heart full of love, Salsa is ready to find her forever family! Story
Alder is basically the dog version of an introvert. Quiet, gentle, low-key, and completely content doing his own thing, Alder is one of the easiest and lowest-maintenance dogs I have ever had in the rescue out of hundreds of dogs. He is around a year old and was originally labeled as a pit bull mix at the shelter when he was younger and still looked like a generic puppy. But now that he is older, it is very obvious that he is not a pittie and instead looks much more like a Border Collie mix. Alder is wonderful with other dogs of all sizes and also great with cats. He peacefully coexists with everyone but honestly doesn’t care much about joining the chaos or playing constantly. He prefers to quietly exist nearby and observe the world at his own pace. He is shy and hesitant with new people at first, but there is not an ounce of aggression in him. He is simply a soft, sensitive dog who takes a little time to feel comfortable. Once he settles in, Alder is incredibly easy to live with. He is not demanding, not hyper, not loud, and not needy. He is the type of dog who quietly becomes part of your daily life without bringing chaos into it. Good fit: someone looking for a calm, quiet, low-maintenance companion who does not need constant stimulation or activity to be happy. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (neutered/spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $450 (includes transport + vetting) Bonus: Each adoption includes a 30-minute phone consultation with a professional trainer Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ, VT Think you might be a good fit? Story
Mac came to rescue as a puppy last summer with his three siblings, Dee, Dennis, and Charlie. All three of them were adopted promptly, but somehow Mac is still waiting for his turn. His siblings looked more like German Shepherd mixes, but Mac took a different direction. At just 36 lbs, he looks more like a Border Collie/Heeler mix and is a great medium size. Mac is a happy, easygoing boy who is very low maintenance and doesn't need constant attention or entertainment. He's great with other dogs and with cats and is perfectly content just being part of everyday life. After watching all three of his siblings leave for homes of their own, it's time for Mac to finally get his. Good fit: someone looking for a happy, easygoing, low-maintenance companion who gets along well with both dogs and cats. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), I always take my dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $500 (includes transport + vetting) Bonus: Each adoption includes a 30-minute phone consultation with a professional trainer Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ Think you might be a good fit? Story
Gavin has a tiny blue speck in one of his eyes that makes an already handsome face even more unique. At around 2 years old and 37 lbs, he may be a Heeler/Border Collie mix and is a great medium size. Gavin is a friendly, mellow guy who gets along great with other dogs. Despite the breeds he resembles, he isn't a high-strung, constantly-on-the-go dog. He's easygoing and happy just hanging out with his people and dog friends. He's a sweet, uncomplicated boy with a calm personality who would fit easily into a lot of different lifestyles. Good fit: someone looking for a friendly, mellow, medium-sized companion who gets along well with other dogs and doesn't need constant activity to be happy.
