WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Jesse James – The Outlaw of No Boredom Here! 3 years old • 40 lbs • Border Collie Mix Extraordinaire This is Jesse James, and no — he won’t steal your money… but he WILL absolutely steal your heart, your couch spot, and possibly one sock when you’re not looking. Jesse is a 3-year-old, 40-pound bundle of brains, enthusiasm, and nonstop “whatcha doing and can I help?” energy. True to his Border Collie roots, this boy is SMART with a capital S. His mind is always working, his tail is always wagging, and he is always ready for the next mission. Need a hiking buddy? He volunteers. Need a running partner? He already tied his shoes. Need someone to supervise yard work, car rides, or snack-making? Jesse has clocked in and is on duty. He loves people, loves being involved, and believes personal space is optional when you’re part of the family. If you’re looking for a dog to quietly nap in the corner all day… Jesse respectfully declines that job offer. This handsome guy walks nicely on leash, learns quickly, and absolutely thrives when he has structure and something to do. Training? Games? Adventures? He’s in. He’d be amazing for an active person or family who understands that a tired Border Collie is a happy Border Collie. Jesse does great with other dogs and older kids who appreciate his enthusiastic, wiggly, sometimes goofy personality. Cats are currently a mystery — but knowing Jesse, he’d probably try to organize them into a committee. His ideal home? One that enjoys exercise, laughter, activity, and a dog who thinks life is meant to be FUN. A bored Jesse is a mischievous Jesse — but a busy Jesse is the happiest, most loyal best friend you could ask for. If you’re ready for a clever, affectionate, full-of-life sidekick who will keep you moving, smiling, and slightly entertained at all times, Jesse James is ready to ride off into the sunset with you. Apply today at haydudeequine.org — before this lovable bandit steals someone else’s heart!

Story
Fluffy on the outside and soft souled on the inside…Flora is your girl. She’s the kind of dog who makes people do a double take, not because she’s loud or rowdy but because she’s simply stunning. Eye catching, gorgeous, and incredibly gentle, Flora has a calm, welcoming presence that makes you feel at ease the moment you meet her. Watch her video and see for yourself why everyone who meets Flora falls in love. https://youtu.be/S3xNXFK_2Jg Flora is believed to be a Border Collie mix, approximately 2 years old, and currently weighs 42 lbs. Y’all this girl is the perfect medium size! Don’t let her fluffy photos fool you. Flora is not too big and not too small, she’s just right. As a rescue dog, her exact breed and age are our best estimates, and with any rescue, there’s always a bit of mystery we can’t guarantee but we think that just makes her even more special. Flora is the kind of dog who prefers to take the world in rather than rush through it. She doesn’t demand attention, she quietly earns it. Once she bonds with you, she loves deeply. Beneath her fluffy exterior is a dog who is just as soft, affectionate, and devoted as she looks, forming connections that are truly special once that trust is built. The companionship comes with sweet kisses and pairs perfectly with some “back-it-up” booty scratches. She is currently in a loving foster home, where she’s being adored while she patiently waits for the forever family lucky enough to call her their own. Flora is apartment-friendly and has wonderful, easy house manners. She is kennel trained, rides great in the car, and is learning her leash skills. Flora is independent in the best way, happy to relax peacefully by your side without needing constant attention but when she chooses to connect, it feels truly special. She melts into affection, especially for booty scratches she’ll even back right up into you to ask for more. Flora also loves to give sweet kisses, making those quiet bonding moments with her feel gentle, genuine, and deeply rewarding. And we can’t forget her long, floaty tail and beautiful coat that make her just as pretty in motion as she is in photos. Flora is dog friendly. Her foster takes her to doggy daycare, where she’s around dogs of all sizes and personalities, and she does great there. She also lives with two small foster dog siblings and coexists beautifully with them. Flora is more of a calm companion than a rough player. She enjoys wandering, observing, and existing peacefully alongside other dogs, though she may engage in light play once she’s comfortable. She would be best paired with a medium-to-low energy dog companion who isn’t overly pushy but would enjoy her quiet company. Flora has not been formally kid-tested yet. Based on her gentle, calm nature, we feel she may be best suited for a home with older, respectful children or teenagers who can match her laid-back personality. However, additional kid testing can absolutely be arranged to ensure she’s paired appropriately and set up for success in the right family environment. Flora has met our house cat and showed curiosity when first introduced. She took time to sniff, observe, and get her smells in, and was able to coexist calmly once she settled. While she did show initial interest, she was able to disengage on her own and relax nearby comfortably. If a home has a cat, a dog-savvy feline would be ideal, and we’re happy to arrange a kitty sleepover to test and see how she does in a home setting and ensure the best match for everyone. She is the kind of dog whose beauty draws you in but it’s her gentle heart that makes you stay. Her soft nature, quiet loyalty, and sweet little affectionate quirks, she’s the perfect companion for someone looking for a deep, meaningful bond. Photos truly don’t do her justice. So if you look LONG enough into my HAZEL eyes, you will definitely see my soul :0 Or what. had for lunch.... either way, good stuff! I am a pup, as you can see.... I am lanky, I am gorgeous, I am smart and I LOVE TO PLAY!! I ended up at the rescue, and that is such a blessing for me!! AND FOR YOU :) If you get to adopt me! I have a sweet and very playful personality, I love to run and am born for it! I am also born to learn all kinds of things, too. Use my brain, train me and I will become your best friend and the best adventure buddy! I am a great portable size, you don't have to drag a big 90# pup around, I am about 1/3 that size and can get in and out of the car without you carrying me! I love other dogs and would be great in a home that is active and at least one other happy dog to grow with! Adopt me soon, this beauty will find a family quickly!! Story
We are a litter of 8, and our rescue story had lots of surprises! What started as a call to save 4 puppies quickly turned into a full-on puppy treasure hunt. Surprise! There were even more of us hiding under a storage container… and our sweet mama too! With some yummy food and gentle coaxing, we were all scooped up and brought to safety together. Now we’re warm, cozy, and living the good life with soft blankets—and we’re ready to find our forever families! We are happy, silly puppies who love zoomies, climbing on everything, chewing all the toys, and wrestling like tiny champions. When we finally wear ourselves out, we turn into snuggle pros and happily crawl into a lap for a nap. If you’re looking for nonstop fun, endless puppy kisses, and the best snuggle buddy around, we might just be your perfect match! Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
