She’s a mid-energy girl who enjoys being active but doesn’t need to run marathons to settle down contentedly. Mindy is looking for a home where she’ll get lots of love and chances to show off how smart and affectionate she is.Mindy is a calm greeter with new humans and other dogs. She takes things slowly to make sure everyone is comfortable, and then she’s all love. Mindy has done wonderfully with the kids she’s met, and she’d likely be fine with cats, too. She loves her chew toys and will play by herself if no one is around to play with her.Mindy will happily put herself to bed in her crate and settle right in for sleep. She’s also fully housetrained, making her easy to integrate into new settings and routines. Mindy walks well on her leash and would love to be your walking or hiking buddy! She's attentive and quick to pick up on cues, making her a joy to train and live with.Mindy is looking for a loving family who will appreciate her gentle spirit and playful heart. Could you give her the new chapter she so richly deserves? Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. Story
Duke is a sensitive sweetheart with a lot of love (and energy!) to bring to your life. Duke is still getting the hang of walking on leash, but so far he loves spending time in the great outdoors, be it sniffy hikes, playing fetch in the yard, or just zooming around and getting silly with his friends. Duke lived in a bubble in his previous home, meaning he wasn`t meeting a lot of new people or animals, and wasn`t going to a lot of new places. He`d be a great companion for an adopter in a lower-traffic environment, where he can work on building up his confidence when navigating new places, meeting new people, etc. Duke could potentially live with children who can follow his management plan.Duke seems interested in meeting other dogs, but doesn`t have a lot of practice doing so and has sometimes been worried or conflicted when meeting dogs while in our care. While Duke is continuing to learn about the world and working on building some dog social skills, he would do best as the only dog in the home, please!

Story
Domino is an extremely sweet and cuddly dog. He is house and crate trained, and loves learning new tricks. Energetic, but also loves a nap. We adopted him 3 years ago from a rescue organization. He was a bit of a shy boy and took a bit to warm up to us, but he became incredibly sweet with our 6 year old kelpie/cattle dog and is very sweet with our 1st baby, now 16 months old. We also had a 20 year old cat when we first got him and he was great with her. He does need extra attention on walks and with new people and other dogs. It takes some extra care and time for him to warm up to new people and it seems to be a bit of protectiveness. We love Domino so much, but we have become too busy to really give him the extra care he needs as we grow our family. He needs either a big yard or someone with the time to take him on longer walks/runs and he will need continued training attention with new people and dogs. That said, he will give you all the love back.
