Story
MEET TRIP!Trip is an energetic, loving, incredibly smart pup looking for someone who will love all his kisses and cuddles. He has picked up some basic commands fairly quickly, and is eager to learn more for a good treat. Trip will need an adopter who is ready to put in effort to help with his potty training and help him him get more comfortable, as this Southern boy is new to the city! He is friendly with people and dogs, but can be a little timid when meeting someone new. Trip is a very loyal and intelligent pup with a lot of love to give!Trip is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Trip or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. Story
Piper is a loved and well trained dog. She knows many basic commands (sit, stay, come, crate). She’s good with older kids but not great with toddlers or very young kids. She’s good with most other dogs. She’s a great hiking buddy. She’s 3.5, I’ve had her since she was about 4 months old. Her father is a border collie and working farm dog, Piper inherited his intelligence and drive. My schedule doesn’t allow me to give her as much daily exercise and stimulation as she needs. Her boredom leads to aggression toward my older dog. An ideal situation for her would be an active person or couple, family with older teens, an adopter interested in agility training, a runner who needs a daily running buddy, or a farm or environment where she could have a “job.” Shes incredibly smart, affectionate, she just needs more exercise and activity than I can give her. She’s up to date on all shots, 42 lbs, and eats a standard diet (no known allergies).

Story
Lucy and Weezy are approx. 7 year old rescue dogs from Louisiana that we have had and loved for 6 years. Because they are rescues, we are not entirely sure about their breed but we were told that they are a mix of Border Collie, Catahoula, and Australian Shepherd. They are sisters from the same litter and have never been separated: they must be adopted together. They are very healthy - neither has ever had any major illnesses, and they're up to date on shots. They are active, energetic, smart, loyal dogs. They need a lot of activity and exercise, and they do shed some - though to a much lesser extent in colder climates. They are well behaved and housebroken. They bark upon meeting new people but quickly warm up to them. They can be jealous of human attention around other dogs, but do really well (and have had a lot of experience) in a doggy daycare, boarding, or dogparks. We are hoping to find a loving home for them that is able to give them the attention and care that they deserve.
