Freckles across his nose, a little black “Batman mask,” happy tippy-taps when he’s excited, and a heart that clearly wants to belong… this is Holliday. Equal parts goofy charm and affectionate shadow, Holliday is the kind of dog who leans all the way into love. His biggest dream? A couch, a person, and permission to pretend he’s a lap dog. From the moment you meet him, Holliday’s affectionate nature is easy to see. He absolutely lights up when people give him attention and has a charming little habit of doing “tippy taps” with his feet when he’s happy or excited. It’s the kind of happy motion that makes everyone around him smile whether they are meeting for the first time or its a familiar connection. And inside its only sweeter, he is affectionate and his aspirations for lap-dog life really shine. Holliday is more than happy to make the first move and will come in close to soak up the love and lean in for a new nestling nose kisses. He is still learning some of the everyday things that come with the cozy life as a family dog. For example, couches were a new concept to him. When invited up, he wasn’t quite sure how to get there at first and needed a little boost. Moments like that tell us he’s likely still discovering what a comfortable home life looks like. The good news is that he’s eager to connect with people, smart and very responsive to guidance, which makes him a wonderful boy to open your heart and home to. On leash, Holliday is enthusiastic and currently pulls a bit, especially when he sees other dogs he’d like to meet. Much of his life before rescue life was spent on a very short leash outdoors so the world is understandably very exciting to him right now. With a confident understanding handler he has been making great progress with continued leash training. He is also very responsive to direction, correction, and listens well when told “no.” With other dogs, Holliday shows friendly curiosity. When meeting dogs he likes to sniff hello and then wander off to explore the yard. Play is still a bit of a mystery to him, but with the right dog companion we have seen he learns quickly and is easily invited to play even if she doesn’t know the steps after that. When meeting new dogs he reads them well and respects boundaries and limits easily. We can see him being a wonderful fit for a home with medium-energy, similarly sized dogs. Holliday is also very food motivated, which is wonderful for training. He eats enthusiastically and takes treats gently. Because Holliday can be a little jumpy, which he is working on, when he’s excited to receive affection, we think he’ll do best in a home with older kids who won’t be knocked over by his enthusiastic greetings. His affection truly comes from a joyful place and is gentle, not rough or heavy footed. He just hasn’t quite learned yet that hugs don’t always have to involve all four feet leaving the ground, but some people do enjoy those big, warm dog hugs. A home with a yard would be ideal for Holliday while he continues building his leash skills, giving him space to stretch his legs and explore safely. With time, guidance, and a loving environment, we think this freckled little masked hero is going to blossom into a wonderful, lap-loving, whole-new-world companion and sidekick. Pare' was born on April 10, 2022. He is a fluffly attention hog, he'll look for a cuddle then he's off like a dart bouncing off walls. Meet Judy. While her tag says "senior," her vitality says otherwise. Judy loves people, having her hair brushed, and going for walks—she might need a joint chew after her walk. Judy hates to be alone; if you leave her in a yard, she will start looking for all those bones she's buried, then jump up to give you a hug with her muddy paws. If you're looking for a constant companion, your ride or die, Judy's your girl. On a side note, she is not a fan of thunderstorms; she will want to be by your side and shows her anxiety by panting.

💕 Meet Wanda! Wanda is approximately 11 months old, the smallest of her litter, and quite possibly one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. 💕🐾 We believe she is considered full grown at a whopping 26 lbs!! She will not get any bigger, unless you feed her too many treats, which she will definitely enjoy. Wanda and her siblings Black Widow, Peggy, Hulk, Nebula, and Thor were found at a construction site in South Texas along the Mexico border, along with multiple other dogs. They were hungry, tired, and looked completely defeated. Thankfully, the six puppies and several of the other dogs were rescued and brought to a safe sanctuary, where they have been thriving since March 2026. Wanda was the runt of the litter, but don't let her tiny size fool you — she's got plenty of personality packed into that little body! 💕 The Sweetest Little Runt Wanda is VERY submissive and incredibly gentle. She is the kind of dog who wants everyone to be her friend and absolutely does not want conflict. Because of her submissive nature, she can unfortunately get bullied by more assertive dogs. She doesn't defend herself or stand up for herself, which means any dogs in her future home must be kind, gentle, and respectful of her boundaries. Her foster has even given her little pep talks about standing up for herself. 😂 But honestly, Wanda is so sweet that being bossy just doesn't seem to be in her nature! She loves everyone she meets and has a gentle, affectionate personality that makes her incredibly endearing. 🐾 Wanda's Personality Wanda is: 💕 Extremely sweet and affectionate 🥰 Very gentle and submissive 👧 Wonderful with children ❤️ Loves all humans 🐕 Social with other dogs, provided they are kind and gentle 🐱 Does well with cats with proper introductions 🦴 Very food motivated 🥰 Loves pets and belly rubs 🧸 Loves toys 💦 Likes water — although she would prefer that you don't get her wet! 🏠 Crate trained 👀 Curious and eager to learn 😌 One of the calmer puppies in the litter 😂 A little bit mischievous when it comes to destroying her toys Wanda loves her toys, but unfortunately for the toys, she doesn't believe in preserving them for very long. She tends to rip them apart into tiny pieces. So her future home may want to invest in some seriously durable toys! 🍽️ She Has Something to Say About Dinner Wanda is also quite good at communicating with her foster. When her food bowl is empty, she will sometimes push her bowl toward her foster as if to say: "Excuse me. I believe there has been an oversight. My bowl is EMPTY." 😂 She's food motivated, so this clever little girl definitely knows how to get her point across! 🧠 Smart… But Easily Distracted Wanda is curious and genuinely tries to learn. She likes to pay attention and figure things out, but she also has a short puppy attention span. With all the activity and other dogs around, it's understandably difficult for her to concentrate for very long. She would likely do best with someone who can give her patient, positive training in a calm environment. She may start out paying attention… …and then suddenly remember that playing is much more interesting. 😂 💦 Water Girl — On Her Terms Wanda likes water, but there's an important distinction: She likes water. She just doesn't necessarily like YOU getting her wet. 😂 She's perfectly happy enjoying water on her own terms, thank you very much! 🏡 Wanda's Ideal Home Because Wanda is so submissive, her ideal home is one where she will feel safe, protected, and respected. She could live with other dogs, but they need to be gentle and socially appropriate. A dog who constantly overwhelms, chases, or bullies her would not be a good match. She could also absolutely thrive as an only dog, where she can soak up all the attention and affection herself. A family with children could be a wonderful fit, provided the children understand how to be gentle and respectful with a small, sensitive dog. She would love a home that offers: ❤️ Lots of affection 🐾 Gentle companionship 🦴 Treats and positive reinforcement 🧸 Toys sturdy enough to survive her 🎓 Patient training 🛋️ A calm and safe environment 💗 Plenty of belly rubs Wanda may be the smallest of the litter, but she has a huge heart.
