Story
Rex is truly one of the sweetest, easiest dogs you’ll ever meet. He’s the kind of pup who just wants to love and be loved. And once you earn his trust, he’ll give you his whole heart. He gets along great with other dogs and would do best in a home with another playful, confident pup. While he doesn’t currently live with cats, we think he’d likely do well with a slow and proper introduction. Rex can be shy when meeting new people and new environments, so he’s looking for a patient home that will let him move at his own pace and understand that trust can take time. But underneath that timid exterior is such a playful, goofy, cuddly boy who’s still very much a puppy at heart. He loves bouncing around the backyard with his squeaky toys, going for hikes, and he especially loves splashing around in water! With some training he has the potential to be a great off-leash adventure buddy. And at the end of the day he’s happy to snuggle up with you on the couch. He’s also incredibly well-mannered - potty trained, great on a leash, sleeps quietly in his crate through the night, and does well free roaming when left home alone during the day. Rex is such a gentle, loving soul. He may need a little extra patience at first, but the love and loyalty you’ll get in return are absolutely worth it. Story
Meet Patricia! (Formally Sassy Brisket)We were contacted by the Owatonna impound to take a dog that had been in their impound for a few weeks. Her owners had been identified and contacted but unfortunately - they never came to claim her. Upon her arrival here, we scanned her chip and found that she had been adopted from us in 2022. Now Patricia finds her way back to us due to no fault of her own. She is a middle aged lady, about 6 yrs old, and is thought to be some sort of Shepherd lab or border collie mix. She enjoys playing with the other dogs and is very friendly and social with people. All she is waiting for is a true forever home where she will be loved on for the rest of her days.If you think Patricia could be a good fit for you, apply online today!Adoption fee is $350 + $30 microchip fee + tax

Story
Flare is the kind of puppy who makes you grin - bright‑eyed, curious, and convinced that life is one big adventure meant to be explored at full speed (with lots of cuddly naps too). Born in mid‑December 2025 and 18#, this Border Collie mix is the perfect blend of fun, resilience, smarts, and affection. Flare has a contagious enthusiasm for life, going all in on whatever he’s doing: tugging with gusto, wrestling with dog friends, delivering enthusiastic kisses, running like the wind, and welcoming every new person he meets to his fan club. He’s human‑focused, neutral toward other dogs, and happiest when his brain and body have something to do. A family that runs, hikes, trains, or enjoys dog sports will find him irresistible. He’s visited pet stores, explored parks, tagged along to dog school, and eagerly greeting each new adventure. He’s curious, observant, and steady. He has medium energy with the ability to relax once he’s had exercise or worked on obedience skills – he’s not a ‘stay in the house’ type of dog. Just like a kid can’t wait to start kindergarten, Flare is excited to take classes with his new family. He’s still a puppy learning things like housetraining, leash skills, nail trims, and encountering everyday things like vacuums. On leash, he’s impressive for his age. He rides nicely in the car when contained in a crate and can settle in one at home if he’s relaxed after a play or training session. Flare would thrive with a fenced yard and a family experienced with herding breeds. He can live with respectful kids who understand how to be kind and consistent with a puppy. He kindly requests a canine buddy in his new home, preferably one who likes to wrestle. He hasn’t met cats yet. If you’re looking for a bright, athletic, affectionate puppy who could grow into an incredible adventure buddy or partner in an active life, Flare is ready to light up your world. Flare is being fostered in Rochester, MN. Flare's adoption fee is $550 + MN sales tax. He is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. He will be neutered and microchipped at the age of roughly 6 months. The cost of this procedure is included in his adoption fee. Upon adoption, all of our dogs go to their new homes with a collar and harness, leash, starter food, blanket, favorite toys & treats. They are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We are located in Minnesota and adopt to an area 400 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Story
Meet Oreo - a sweet young puppy who has been let down too many times in her short life. Oreo came to us from a partner impound when she was seized from her owners. She is thought to be between 4-5 months old and a border collie/husky mix. Unlike most puppies her age, Oreo has known cruelty and has had to overcome it.It takes her a little bit to trust people and warm up - but this is understandable. She is getting braver and braver everyday. Our wonderful trainer has been working with her since her arrival to help her adjust, desensitize, and learn that not all people are bad. Oreo would thrive with a family that has time to show her the good parts of the world and work on basic puppy training. Oreo is truly a diamond in the rough and she is really starting to shine! Story
Georgie is an adorable pup ready to bring energy, joy, and a whole lotta love into his forever home! Born in early February 2026 and around 10#, he’s described as adventurous, tenacious, and talkative. He is a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix, already showing the intelligence and spirit these breeds are known for. We think he perfected his "puppy dog eyes" look – do you agree? His foster family thinks Georgie would have been the perfect sidekick for Indiana Jones. (If you’re a fan of the movies, the theme song should be running through your head now!) He’s bold and ready to dive into new activities at a moment’s notice. His favorite things are plush toys, chew bones and any type of ball. He lives life in two speeds: full throttle and cashed out. He is the perfect blend of curious, brave, and sweet (also cuddly!). He is looking for an active, engaged family who can’t wait to include a dog in all of life’s adventures. Georgie wants to go on hikes, road trips, and do all the things. He wants both physical exercise and mental stimulation and a full life. He is working on all the basics: house training, crate training, and leash skills are all in progress. Georgie wants to take obedience classes and continue great socialization to ensure he grows into well-rounded, well-mannered adult dog. Georgie is a super fit for families with herding breed experience. He could live with children who understand puppies have sharp teeth and who can provide consistent, patient guidance. He would love a canine sibling in his new family or could be an only dog with a fully engaged family. He needs frequent potty breaks; please make sure your application details your schedule. If you’re ready for a smart, affectionate, adventure-loving companion, Georgie might be just the ticket. He is being fostered in Rochester, MN.
