Meet Luke and Stephan (pronounced Stef-on)!These two adorable pups came to PCHS from a valued rescue partner. They were part of an unwanted liter and made their way to rescue when they were about 11 weeks old. They have spent several months in shelter, patiently, waiting for a new family to come and choose them. But after weeks of waiting, waiting, and some more waiting, no one has picked either of these boys. In hopes of reaching a bigger audience, these two boys then made their way to PCHS where they are hopeful their luck will change!Luke and Stephan are about 4 months old now, completely vetted, and ready to find their forever families! Their mom was said to be an Olde English Bulldog mix and their dad was a Border Collie mix. Both pups are energetic, friendly, and enjoy getting attention. Like all puppies, they would benefit from puppy obedience training and continued socialization. These boys are playful and would likely enjoy a canine companion in their new home.With spring and summer just around the corner, these two boys would make for excellent walking and adventure buddies! Rambo is a deeply loyal, sensitive boy who forms strong bonds with his people. Once he feels safe, he is affectionate, attentive, and happiest staying close to those he trusts. He thrives in a calm, predictable environment and does best with patient adopters who understand that trust takes time. Rambo experiences significant anxiety in new situations and around unfamiliar people, so he needs a quiet home willing to let him decompress at his own pace. In his current home, he lives with children and does well with them, but because he can be cautious, older, respectful kids or an adult-only household may be ideal. He gets along well with his canine companion, Rosie. His behavior with unfamiliar dogs is unknown, so slow introductions would be important. For right person, he will be an incredibly devoted, loving companion. He just needs someone willing to see past his fear and offer him patience, structure, and a safe place. No adoption fee.

***Blue and Elvis is BONDED and they NEED to be adopted together!***Meet Blue and Elvis!These two boys came to PCHS from an impound when they were surrendered to an impound when their owner could no longer care for them. The love these two boys have for each other is remarkable. They love to be together and need to be adopted to the same home to keep them happy and healthy. These two are little confused being in shelter as they have lived in the same home together since they were pups. Since they have lived in a home, these two are fully potty trained and appear to be crate trained. They have not been cat tested but seem like they would do okay with other dogs and kids. Blue, who is thought to be some sort of lab mix, is about 5 years old. He has the most striking blue eyes and an inquisitive nature! He absolutely loves his snackies and will do anything for a treat. He seems to know some basic commands like `sit` and `shake`. Elvis, who appears to be an Aussie mix, seems to be a little bit older than Blue and is around 6 years old. Elvis has a more calm demeanor about him. He is also food motivated but he takes his snacks a little more gingerly than his brother. Elvis likes to be close to people and enjoys cuddling right up next to you, or better yet, in your lap!Both these boys are completely vetted and ready to start looking for their new forever home. I have a 5 year old (as of Nov 2025) Australian Shepherd female dog. She was given to me for Christmas as a puppy when she was 10 weeks old (they bought her from a farm in Iowa for $600) but I have a difficult time finding care for her each month that I have drill for the National Guard and it has unfortunately been quite a burden on my life. I believe she’s ok with other animals as she has been at my sisters who has a dog and cat. Her dog and my dog get along well. She has had pet health insurance so she is all up to date on all vaccines and she is healthy and great weight. She would do great in a active setting. She knows basic commands such as sit, lay down, stay, shake. Please reach out if you are interested. I will be cautious in selection to make sure she well cared for. Her kennel, toys, treats, extra food will all be included! I also had her DNA; she’s 90% Australian shepherded and 10% miniature Aussie. Location: Rochester, MN $100– willing to negotiate:) Thank you!❤️❤️❤️
