Meet Odie!! Odie came to us from a shelter in Missouri when his family dropped him off and never came back to get him. He is between 2-3 years old and has a beautiful dark chocolate coat with white markings. Odie is a very good boy that is loving and loyal. He has been doing amazingly well with his transition to Minnesota and loving life but something is missing.....COULD IT BE YOU?? He loves getting pet, scratched, getting his fur brushed, going on long walks, basking in the sun and playing with other dogs and toys. Odie is intelligent and a very quick learner. He knows simple commands such as sit, potty, down and no! He is a picky treat eater, but food motivated for sure. So far, string cheese seems to be a winner!! Odie is taking a few minutes to calm in his crate but once he figures out it is bedtime or rest time- he does very well. Once he is comfortable in his forever home- I think Odie will prefer a nice comfy bed. He seems very comfortable jumping up on mine and resting like a king:) Odie's perfect home will give him a lot of love, activity, mental stimulation and exercise. He is a herding breed- so staying active will suit him best. Adoption fee is $350 plus tax; please apply www.campcompanion.org

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Argo arrived in November 2022 from our friends at the Rescue Network after he was rescued from a Reservation in South Dakota. He is about 3 to 4 years old and does have a lot of the trademark features of mixed breed dogs from Reservations - "Rezzies", as they are affectionately known in rescue. Like many Rezzies, he could be a mix of cattle dog and German and/or Australian shepherd, just to name a few possible options. He's a handsome and very active dog. He has been vet checked and neutered and his fee is $125. Argo has had some basic training and will require a lot of consistent exercise. This is of the utmost importance in order to keep him well balanced and happy. He is ready for action all the time but gets serious when leashed. He does pretty well on leash walks and loves car rides. He's an affectionate guy, too, who thinks nothing of climbing into a person's lap if he gets the chance. Argo would do best in a home with a large fenced yard. He's NOT a dog for apartment living. He's looking for an ADULT only, single person home as he tends to bond very closely to his person and becomes quite protective. No cats for him. He's incredibly smart and would be a lot of fun to train! Meet Cotton Candy! Meet the sweetest, funniest, goofiest boy around. Cotton is a little over a year old and full of Aussie energy. Cotton is looking for a family that has a great sense of humor and an understanding of the needs of this fun breed.Cotton is a double merle as is evident by his fluffy, white coat. It also can impact vision and hearing. In Cotton’s case he is completely deaf but does have some vision- mainly shadows. But this has ZERO effect on this boy and the wonderful life he will live!Cotton loves playing with other dogs and is generally fantastic with them- he is still a young, male Aussie that can’t always read other dog’s signals. Occasionally, he irks his companions but he’s a quick study and rarely repeats a misstep. He has been as respectful as he’s able to with the resident cats. Cotton loves all humans he meets- big and small!Cotton is a good boy in his crate and has (knocks on wood) figured out house training like a champ. Cotton loves to go for runs with his foster dad and is great at it. He’d be a wonderful training companion. Cotton is an active boy and needs to keep his brain and body busy. He’s smart and willing. Training him is a joy!Cotton is looking for a family that will encourage, train and help him continue to live a wonderfully full life. Herding dog knowledge is helpful but not necessary if you are willing and able to provide him the stimulation he needs. He does need another, welcoming dog in his new home. The give him a familiar, easy way to learn his new environment.Cotton will be endless laughs and the occasional head shake for his new family. They will truly be the lucky ones!So cute! Super cute!Cotton has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on his vaccinations. He has also tested negative for heartworm disease. His adoption fee is $450.00 plus sales tax. Bella is a sweet heart and enthusiastic athlete! She loves to play catch and swim. She’s a great walking companion. She loves kids and most other dogs. She has had some unwelcome interactions with a pair of neighbor dogs, unfortunately the last one highlighting a need to rehome her. She does best with exercise, consistent commands, and a secure yard for toileting or leashed in town outings. She would come with a medium sized kennel, a raised dogs bed, a padded dog bed, dishes, toys, ball thrower, leash, harness, and ~1 month of food.
