Story
Meet Fang!! 🐾🦴 Fang came in as a stray on 1/14/26, and we think he’s about 10 months old. Just look at this handsome little guy!! Fang is a bit shy at first and still figuring out the whole leash thing, so you may need to scoop him up and carry him like the precious cargo he is. But here’s the magic part ✨—once you’re in the playroom and you sit down, Fang transforms into a lap-seeking cuddle missile. He will happily run over, jump into your lap, and soak up all the love. He is incredibly sweet, loves to be petted, and is a world-class snuggler. Fang knows how to sit, is very motivated by treats, and always has the happiest smile on his face. He’s gentle, affectionate, and ready to be someone’s best little buddy. You will absolutely fall in love with him! 💕 Fang is available for adoption, so hurry in to meet him! 📍 Fang is located at the Richland County Dog Shelter in Mansfield, OH 📞 Phone: 419-774-5892 It is an application process. Story
Meet Damian!! He came in as a stray on 11/16/25, and we think he’s about 3 years old. This is actually his second time here—he was adopted from us in 2023. We aren't sure why his owner hasn’t come in to pick him up, but what we do know is that Damian is ready to start fresh with someone who truly sees his sparkle. Damian is a high-energy, happy-go-lucky guy who just needs someone who can help him channel all that enthusiasm into fun, love, and adventure. He is super sweet, incredibly friendly, and he gives the kind of gentle kisses that melt your heart on contact. He already knows how to sit and shake, and he’s eager to learn more—especially if treats are involved! He is available for adoption, so hurry in to meet this lovable boy who’s hoping his next home is his forever one. Story
Jada is roughly 12 years old. I adopted her when she was about 2 years old. She is a great, loyal dog but does come with fear aggression. I had her professionally trained in 2018. She is extremely playful and treat motivated. She loves being outdoors and exploring. Since adopting her, I have gotten married and now have 2 young children. Due to her history of fear aggression, she is not trusted around my kids which is the main motivator to rehome her. She has bitten people in the past who have approached her with no caution. She has additionally bitten another dog. She would thrive best in a home without children or other pets. She tends to warm up to people fast if caution is taken. My husband and I are searching for a home for her where she will have an exceptional quality of life during her final years.
