Story
Harmony is a young pup. She is in a foster home. She is learning crate training. She does not have accidents in the home as long as she gets let out often (puppy bladder). She is high energy and she needs an active family. She loves attention. She might be too much for small children. She is treat and food motivated. She is a toy hoarder, she will steal all the toys and hide them. She is best with dogs her size or larger as she tends to run over small dogs. It is that border collie energy.

Story
Well, hello there! I'm Ducky, the delightful 5-month-old bundle of fur you didn't know you needed until now! If you're after a pup as unique as a unicorn, well, you've stumbled upon a real gem (though I promise I'm less mythical and more cuddly). I have a dazzling brindle and white coat that would make even the most seasoned fashionistas jealous. I'm not just a pretty face, though; at a petite 28lbs, I'm the perfect size to snuggle up with without fear of losing me in the sea of pillows—or worse, your purse (because let's face it, that's a real possibility with some pups)! Let's talk about my glamorous(definitely being sarcastic here) origins – picture a ditch, a makeshift home, and a brave band of ditch-dwellers including my mom, Spring, my maybe-dad, Froggy, and a handful of tiny siblings. It was survival mode with a side of ditch drama, let me tell you! Thankfully, our tale took a turn for the better when some kind-hearted souls rescued us from ditch life and introduced us to the wonderful world of fluffy butt families at PPFT. From ditch-diver to potential couch potato, that's my transformation story in a nutshell! Now, if I want to earn myself a place inside your home...I should probably start talking about my amazing personality! Now, about that active lifestyle... sure, I'm down for it, but let's not get too ambitious. I'm more of a "let's chase butterflies" kind of gal than a "let's conquer Everest" pup. Leash training? Let's just say I'm a bit of a drama queen when it comes to those scary strings, but I'm getting there. Slowly. Hiking? You mean a fancy walk with extra leaves? Not my scene yet, but I'll practice my nature appreciation from the comfort of the backyard. Fetch? Ha, that's a good one. I prefer the "you throw it, you fetch it" game. Keeps you humans on your toes! Toys? Oh, they're fun until they're not. I'll play, but only if the toy matches my current mood and aesthetic. Car rides? Oh, I'm a pro at being a backseat snoozer. Just don't judge my snoring. Alright, let's spill the beans on my social antics. Meeting new people? It's like a dramatic soap opera in my head. First, I'm the shy protagonist, then cue the treats and belly rubs, and suddenly I'm the star of the show, demanding all the attention! Jumping on people? Guilty pleasure alert! I can't help but show off my vertical leap, especially when there are treats involved. Who needs a trampoline when you've got Ducky, don't worry though...I tend to only show off my skills at certain times and only with my people...strangers...I would rather keep my awesome jumping skills hidden for the time being. Other dogs? At first, I play it cool like I'm too busy for canine chit-chat, but give me a chance, and I'll be zooming around with tails wagging in no time! Kids? Oh, I'm a pro at kid stuff. My 14-year-old buddy can confirm that I'm the perfect partner in crime for adventures, cuddles, and maybe a sneaky treat or two. Cats? Oh, the eternal game of cat and duck! I'm on a mission to crack the feline enigma, one curious sniff at a time. Ready to hear all about my house manners?! Apartment life? Let's just say I've got a backyard soul trapped in this petite frame. Apartment living? Not my jam unless they've got a backyard elevator! Potty training? We're on a roll, folks! I nailed the all-night dry spell, but be prepared for my early morning wake-up call. Who needs an alarm clock when you've got Ducky? Kennel training? It's like trying to teach a fish to ride a bicycle – a work in progress, but hey, I'm open to new experiences! Chewing on things? Nah, I'm all about the chew toys. Unless your shoes have a secret bacon scent, then we might have a problem. Doggie door? We're in negotiations. I'm practicing my "open sesame" technique, but the door seems to have a mind of its own. Barking? I'm more of a canine commentator. I'll chime in with a bark or two, just to keep things interesting. Call me the four-legged narrator of life! Free roam of the house? Not yet, my friends. I'm still perfecting the art of "don't touch that" and "leave it." So, what do you say, folks? Ready to welcome this brindle beauty with open arms and a never-ending supply of treats? I promise to fill your days with laughter, snuggles, and just the right amount of mischief. Because let's face it, life is better with a quirky, talkative, and oh-so-lovable pup like me around! Let's make memories, chase squirrels (figuratively, of course), and embark on adventures together. Are you ready to add a splash of Ducky magic to your life? I'm waiting for my cue to steal your heart and become your favorite couch companion! 📍 Pickup Location: Hutchinson, KS 📝 Adoption App: https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/hx000BP7nbQvjHX49Uur80FV3

Story
Rochester (aka Chester) is a sweetheart of a dog that just loves people. He wants nothing more than to be your constant companion and give you all the attention in the world. Chester is extremely submissive with other dogs to the point of probably needing to be an only dog, but he promises he has all the 4-legged affection you could ever need.  He is picky about his dog friends, but he has been in our cat room and fell asleep with one of the cats curled up next to him. He is housebroken, good with cats,  and good with kids. Some of our dogs are adopted very quickly.  If you are truly interested in a dog fill out an application ASAP.  If you take the time to email a question someone will already be ahead of you with a completed application.  You can find all the information we have about a particular cat/dog at the link below as well.  Then click the adopt button to fill out an application. Story
Apollo is a very sweet blue heeler that looks to be full blood, but may be mixed.  His owner passed away so he's feeling a bit lost.  His best friend Lucy the chihuahua is here too.  We believe he is housebroken, but do not know that for sure.  He is sweet and gentle and ready for a new home.
