Hi , my name is Ethel and I was brought in with my buddy Lucy. We were found wondering the streets and the nice people at the shelter brought us in to keep us safe. Nobody ever came to take us home , so now we are available for adoption ! I am very submissive and like to keep to myself. Going on walks is fun once I get to know you , but I am very shy when I meet new people. Laying around is also really nice too. There are some female dogs that I do not get along with. I walk really well on a leash and even know some basic commands. See I actually was adopted once before and the people dumped me on the side of the road , can you believe that ? Poppie is very sweet, but a bit shy.  Her owner recently passed away and she's found herself in a scary situation being in the rescue with all the other dogs.  She is medium sized and gets along well with other dogs.  We believe she is housebroken. Some of our dogs are adopted very quickly.  If you are truly interested in a dog fill out an application ASAP.  If you take the time to email a question someone will already be ahead of you with a completed application.  You can find all the information we have about a particular cat/dog at the link below as well.  Then click the adopt button to fill out an application. Zara is an unbelievably sweet girl who absolutely loves her people! She enjoys being petted, cuddled, and snuggled up on the couch, especially when she gets to relax in a home environment.Zara does great in the car and would much rather explore the world alongside her person than spend time loose in the yard.
