Story
Meet Eragon! Eragon is 6 months old and about 21 pounds. We are not exactly sure what Eragon is but he is "tall and lanky" so we think he may be mixed with Labrador Retriever and Border Collie. It is hard to say for sure but Eragon may be 40 to 50 pounds when fully grown. Eragon has your typically puppy energy, playful fun and adorable! He does well in a crate and could still use help with potty training and on a leash to make walks fun and exciting. Eragon has done great with other dogs and humans both big and small. Interested in becoming a forever home for Eragon Earl? For immediate consideration, please fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we DO NOT go any further without an application. If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Eragon Earl. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Eragon Earl the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. Our normal adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
Meet Angie! Angie is a sweet, 18-month-old smooth-coated Border Collie who is looking for her forever home. This lovely girl has a gentle nature and may be a little shy when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, she quickly warms up and shows her affectionate side. Angie thrives in the company of other dogs and loves to play, so having a canine companion in her new home is a must. She is an active, energetic dog who would enjoy daily adventures and plenty of exercise, but she's also a cuddler at heart. After a day of fun, she’ll happily curl up with her family for some quiet time. Angie would do best with a family who understands her breed’s needs for both physical activity and mental stimulation. She would also do best in a home with older kids. If you’re ready to provide a loving, playful environment and have another dog ready to be her best friend, Angie could be the perfect fit for your home!

Story
Meet Hazel! Breed: Border Collie Mix (likely mixed with a larger breed) Age: Puppy Personality: Spirited, playful, and affectionate Hazel is an adorable border collie mix who’s destined to grow larger than a typical border collie. She’s the life of the party among her littermates, full of energy and playful antics. Hazel loves being outside—whether it’s chasing sticks, wrestling with her siblings, playing chase, or amusing herself by twirling after her tail. She’s curious, active, and always on the move! After burning off her boundless energy, Hazel transforms into the sweetest cuddle buddy. She’s already crate trained and is making good progress with house training. As she’s still learning the ropes of interacting with humans, Hazel would thrive in a home with older children or in an environment where she’s given the time and training to refine her playtime behavior. What Hazel Needs in a Home: Active Owners: Hazel’s energy makes her a great match for an active family or individual who enjoys outdoor activities. Patience with Training: While Hazel is still learning, consistent guidance will help her grow into the perfect companion. Larger Children or Adults: Hazel’s playfulness may be a bit too much for smaller children right now, but she’ll grow into an amazing family dog with proper training. Hazel’s adaptability and young age mean she’ll adjust well to almost any home that can provide her the love and attention she deserves. If you’re ready for an energetic, loving pup to brighten your days, Hazel is waiting for you!

Story
Meet Copper! Copper is a very sweet, active and playful guy! He is about 12-18 months old, and at his last vet visit weighed in at 51 pounds. We think Copper probably has some Australian Shepherd, along with several other breeds including possibly Belgian Shepherd. Greyhound or Carolina dog. Copper is a beautiful and happy boy. He’s lucky to be alive! Copper came to us from the shelter at a time when he was minutes from losing his life because he had an upper respiratory infection. We are so glad he is with us now, and we will find his perfect forever home for him! Copper does well in a crate, he also does well on a leash. Copper would love to be a hiking or running buddy! His foster mom said he is doing well at learning house training. Copper loves to play with his doggy friends especially tug-of-war with the big rope toys and will do wonderful at a daycare or dog park with other active and playful dogs! Interested in becoming a forever home for Copper? Story
Are you looking for a unique, petite bundle of fun...look no further...this is Jessye Storm. Jessye is 5 years old and only 36 pounds. Due to her small stature and coloring we think Jessye may have some Aussie and Welsh Corgi in her. This dog is the real deal in a small package! She is crate trained, housebroken, very gentle on the leash, quiet, loves children and adults alike and she has done well with introductions to other dogs. She will let you know when she needs to go outside but she is not a fan of hot weather. Jessye will give gentle hugs and kisses and loves car rides and any adventure that you will like to take her on. Jessye is waiting for her perfect family...could that be you!
