Story
Roman is a very energetic and affectionate dog. I adopted him with my ex-partner from a kill shelter in Arizona in the Fall of 2018. At that time, we were told he was between 2 and 4 years old. I do not believe he is purebred Cattle Dog. He is a bit shorter than average for the breed and weighs around 35 lbs. Roman has high anxiety which is alleviated by adequate exercise. He needs to be walked a minimum of 4 miles per day, every single day, to be at a baseline level of calm and comfort. He loves being outside and is a great hiking dog. He is extremely devoted and affectionate and very people-focused. He does have initial suspicion towards other dogs but is able to bond with other dogs and get along in a safe space. The reason I have made the very difficult decision to re-home him is that my partner and I separated and as a single person it has been very challenging to provide Roman with the attention and exercise that he needs.

Story
Meatball 6 months, neutered male, 40 lbsHerding mix  Say hi to Meatball! This sweet and goofy boy loves to get his cuddle time with his people but also rambunctious and loves play! He has been in foster for a few months and is very ready to find his forever home! LIKES: Playing with toys of all kinds, wrestling and playing with the other dogs in foster home, puppy bones, sticks, socks, laying in the sun and exploring the backyard, playing in the dog pool, chasing water toys, chasing bubbles and bugs, cuddling, food and treats (extremely food motivated!) DISLIKES: Being contained or separated from his people or his dog friends (and he will tell you about it!) POTTY TRAINING: 100% in his foster home. Meatball does well with a regular routine doing his business outside. Sometimes needs to be reminded or encouraged to go outside when he's super excited to see you. CRATE TRAINING: See DISLIKES. He doesn't like to be in a kennel. He may whine or bark for a little bit but eventually settles down. He's getting better and giving him a bone or kong wiyh goodies helps. He sleeps in a kennel at nighttime (but he loves to sleep in bed with you, if you let him!) and spends about 4 hours at a time during the day at his foster home. When he hears you starting to wake up in the morning, he lets you know he's ready to come out. OTHER/MISC: He's timid/wary when meeting new people or dogs but that goes away relatively quickly. He may bark at and shy away from new people initially. MEATBALL is very smart and already learning basic commands like sit, lay down and wait. He is also working on containing his enthusiasm and not jumping up to greet people. He likes to go for walks and is getting more confident out in the world. He loves attention and gives kisses. He enjoys cuddling on your lap or nearby when tired. He will also happily find a dog bed to snooze in as well. He likes to be where the action is and see what's going on. He is a medium sized dog and happy to go anywhere or do anything with his people. He needs an active home with regular walks and will benefit from Puppy classes and obedience training to make sure he grows to be the best dog he can be. He does enjoy having a playful, laid back dog friend as he can be a little bossy. He bonds to his dog friends and seeks them out for play time and to cuddle. He looks to the other dogs in his foster home when he's unsure of something and their confidence helps him when he's uncertain. He is working on some food territorialness in his foster home, and has been improving. He loves to be outside and is becoming a water dog, will even play in his water bowl if a pool isn't available. He likes to chase the sprinkler too.  Meatball really is an awesome dog, with a fun playful and loving personality. He will keep his forever family laughing at his antics and they will never feel lonely with him around.
