Story
Are you looking for a dog who could also be confused for a teddy bear? Rocky or his brother Beau might be a good fit for you. These fluffy brothers lived the first part of their lives as outside dogs and are looking for homes that will be patient with them while they learn basic doggie manners and how to walk on a leash. They seem to do well with other dogs, but will need to be fed separately. They are slightly timid when meeting new people, but love cuddling, treats, and playing with toys. For $75, you can welcome one of these sweet boys into your home. They have been neutered, microchipped, and are current on vaccines and flea/heartworm prevention. Please note-all New Leash dogs are to be primarily indoor with supervised playtime outside only.

Story
I adopted Piper about 3 years ago from Nashville Human Association. At the time the staff there thought she was approximately 1 year old. She was part of a large neglect case in middle Tennessee and I fell in love with her. At the time I was spending a lot of time in town as a musician but recently have been being sent on the road almost every week and I don’t feel that I have the time to give her the life she deserves. She’s VERY hyper and needs plenty of walks and attention (a fenced in yard ideal). I had a dna kit done on her and she came back as many breeds but mainly Australian Shepherd, Pomeranian, Husky and Chihuahua. She lived with two other dogs when I adopted her and it took her a while but she became used to living with the others. I have been weary about taking her around strange dogs at dog parks because she definitely has alpha energy. She’s an absolute sweetheart when she gets comfortable and I’m looking for someone with the time to give her a great home!

Story
This handsome boy is called Cooper and he is a young one year, 55 pound male Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix who is gorgeous and goofy all rolled in to one big personality.  This boy was formerly owned by a person who let him run loose (unsafe) and he was getting in to trouble on neighbors properties as he hung out at the chicken coop and he got in to trash cans just for fun.  Cooper just wanted to have something to do!  A job ya know?  He is such a loving boy and he really is good with other dogs and adores people.  He is not cat tested but can be if needed. As you can see he needs a little spiffing up with some groomer which will happen soon.  He is a deep rich mahogany color and has the softest, long wavy fur that just makes you want to sit and pet him for a while. Cooper with all his energy and desire to do things fun, needs a fenced yard and maybe just maybe you could offer him kids and another dog to occupy hours of fun and playtime.  He is smart as he is handsome.  Learning leash manners and he is willing to obey if you do the practice every day for a while.  This boy loves life and you will love Cooper.  If interested please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
