This is George. He is a loving, cuddly and sweet 5 year old, 50lb collie mix. I adopted him from the shelter 4 years ago. He has been a great companion and joy! Unfortunately due to an unknown traumatic past before the shelter, he has some quirks that make it difficult to live in a home with men and children. Due to this I am looking to find George a new loving home that will give him the life he deserves. He is great with routine! He is very nervous and hesitant with new situations and people. However, he quickly adapts once he knows he is safe. When he is comfortable he is the most loving and sweet boy you could ever ask for. He is a quick learner and picks up on commands after a couple practices. He loves a comfy bed with lots of blankets, butt scratches, tummy rubs, new squeaky toys, peanut butter and Nylabones! He loves to play in the yard and chase after tennis balls, squirrels and birds. He would love a home with a steady routine and not too many new people around.

Ruger is an adorably energetic dog who enjoys being loved on by adults and kids. He is 5 years old and was rescued when he was 10 weeks old. He gets along with other dogs and loves to cuddle big dogs. We have a toddler at home who has begun having severe allergies, and after many test, the doctor came to the conclusion that his hair is the root issue. We tried adding many air filters, having our vents cleaned, and allergy medicine, but nothing is working and our baby’s health needs to come first. Ruger would do great with a family who can give him love and take him on walks or let him run around in the yard. He enjoys playing fetch with a tennis ball

This handsome 4.5 month old puppster is called Boy George and he is what you would call….a character. A Border Collie mix puppy who is smart and mischievous and a leader in life. He was born in a litter of 8 puppies around the middle of October and he was the biggest kid in the bunch. He is laidback yet very much an involved pup when it comes to creating dog events that are fun and inquisitive. He is one that doesn’t back down because he knows that he can win the challenge with his tenacity. Boy George has conquered all the obligations in his life to learn about housebreaking, crate time and how to walk on a leash with at least a B- rating. Practice will make perfect when in a family that has more one on one time for him. He is going to be a 55 pound boy once he is grown. His Mom is Blue Eyed Kaye and she is a wonderful girl with a happy demeanor and has certainly passed it along to all her sweet offspring. Boy George is a good pup but he is looking for an even smarter owner that will figure him out before he slips one in on you. He is loving and can be an attention grabber because when you are raised in a pack of 8 siblings, you kind of crave some private time for yourself. Boy George will be a fun pup to raise and one that will excel at puppy training classes. At 18 weeks of age and 32 pounds, he is a great size to take on car rides, walks on a trail or your local neighborhood. He will welcome new dogs and people to meet and did we mention that he LOVES CATS! To our Boy George they are just another friend in life! We will require a home with a securely fenced yard so that this boy can explore and hang out in the great outdoors/backyard. He is not a digger and he is not a fence climber. But he is a dog that requires the stimulation both physically and mentally every day. Teach him things and he will make you a proud dog owner. Someone is looking for a dog like this. Maybe an only dog in the home or just a great addition because he will be play buddies with anyone. But always know that you must be the leader of your pack and Boy George. He craves the boundaries and rules. He thrives best not having his way and is so moldable. Meet Artsy Marcy – A Survivor with a Brilliant Mind and an Even Bigger Heart Artsy Marcy is a beautiful Border Collie mix, around 2 years old and weighing 55–60 pounds. Her life began with unimaginable hardship, yet she has never let her past define her. It is believed that Marcy and her siblings were abandoned in a remote rural area of Tennessee. While trying to survive on their own, tragedy struck when they were hit by a train. Her sister did not survive, and Marcy was left with a severely dislocated hip. Thanks to a compassionate foster who refused to give up on her, Marcy received the surgery and care she desperately needed. Today she has only a slight limp—a small reminder of just how far she has come. Marcy is everything you would expect from a Border Collie mix: incredibly intelligent, observant, athletic, and eager to be part of whatever her people are doing. She loves hiking, exploring, and would thrive in an active home where she can exercise both her body and her mind. She has a natural herding instinct and enjoys having a job or purpose. She is wonderful with people and genuinely enjoys human companionship. While she may be a little shy during first introductions, she warms up quickly and forms strong, loyal bonds. Once she trusts you, she is affectionate, devoted, and eager to please. Marcy has lived around cats, but she does have a prey drive, so any home with cats should be experienced and committed to proper introductions and management. She also does well with some dogs but can be selective about her canine companions. Like many intelligent, confident working breeds, she appreciates respectful introductions and clear leadership. She would do best with an adopter who understands Border Collie personalities and will provide consistent structure, training, and outlets for her energy. Richie ' Sambora ' is what this Border Collie mix puppy should be called because he is so handsome and extra charming. Born around April 1st, 5 months ago from 9/1, his mom was a 40 pound girl with 4 puppies who were all left outside in the harsh heat while their owner went on vacation. No food, no water was left behind. Soon Animal Control was there to take the sweet dogs in to the shelter for relief and care. Richie is 25 pounds and a very special boy. He has very special eye coloring that gives him two different colored eyes that make him absolutely unforgettable. This boy Richie has already figured out that those beautiful eyes have a way of melting hearts. Look out ladies, this handsome boy knows exactly how to turn on the charm and if he played guitar like Sambora does with Bon Jovi, he would be dangerous. But underneath those gorgeous eyes is a sweet puppy who is learning that humans can be trusted and that life can be pretty wonderful. He is almost housebroken, crate training is successful and he is good with all other dogs and cats as well. We expect him to the same weight range as his momma, 40 pounds. He is happy and curious and playful. Working on his leash skills and he has had a great deal of guidance from his foster persons that have helped him the past few weeks. We are delighted to say that during this beautiful season of renewal and friendship and family bonding, we have 8 precious little Border Collie/Aussie mix puppies that are looking for a fresh and forever start to their life. Born about the middle of October to a beautiful Aussie mix mom, these babies were fortunately taken in by a senior couple who nurtured them for 7 weeks. Now these precious beauties are in individual foster homes and learning so much as they grow. 5 boys and 3 girls. They are handled and cuddled so much! No fear issues have touched their spirit! Mom is a 45 pound white and black beauty and we expect each of these smart pups to be in the 45-50 pound range as an adult.
