Story
Otis is a very nice and adventurous dog. He loves attention and sitting on laps even though he is almost 100lbs. He is very energetic but knows to calm down when told. Unfortunately, we do not have the space for him anymore due to our relocation and wish to have someone with loads of space and love take him in. He is very friendly and loves to play outside.

Story
This beautiful girl is called Kenzie and she is a Border Collie mix  from what we can tell due to her size, temperament and the very silky soft fur that adorns her.  This girl is about 6 months old and weighs 32 pounds and is such a spunky and active girl that is happy, charming, and ready for any adventure that you want to ask her to join you in.  Her story is not uncommon in the south, but it definitely was one of  neglect.   Our girl Kenzie is a survivor and a brilliant puppy. Her persona is one of vibrance in life and resilience, topped with confidence.  She adores other dogs, young children and never meets an adult stranger.  She has beautiful eyes that are the color of blue in one and brown in the other.  Her charming personality is bold, happy and full of smiles and energy.  She embraces life with the full expectancy that she will give good love to others and good love will come back to her. And that is what we have promised her at Critter Cavalry Rescue. We will not settle for anything but the best. Our hope is that she will have a home filled with laughter and activities thar also include a home with a fenced yard, and long walks or jogs, along with excursions in the car that the best of great outdoor events. She brings great karma to all who meet her.   If you are interested in this housebroken, crate trained and undeniable beauty, then please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. She is located in Nashville, TN and able to transport on a weekend to the northeast to a new family. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.March 31, 2025, 8:17 pm

Story
This handsome 4.5 month old puppster is called Boy George and he is what you would call….a character.  A Border Collie mix puppy who is smart and mischievous and a leader in life.  He was born in a litter of 8 puppies around the middle of October and he was the biggest kid in the bunch. He is laidback yet very much an involved pup when it comes to creating dog events that are fun and inquisitive.  He is one that doesn’t back down because he knows that he can win the challenge with his tenacity.  Boy George has conquered all the obligations in his life to learn about housebreaking, crate time and how to walk on a leash with at least a B- rating.  Practice will make perfect when in a family that has more one on one time for him.  He is going to be a 55 pound boy once he is grown.  His Mom is Blue Eyed Kaye and she is a wonderful girl with a happy demeanor and has certainly passed it along to all her sweet offspring.  Boy George is a good pup but he is looking for an even smarter owner that will figure him out before he slips one in on you. He is loving and can be an attention grabber because when you are raised in a pack of 8 siblings, you kind of crave some private time for yourself.  Boy George will be a fun pup to raise and one that will excel at puppy training classes.  At 18 weeks of age and 32 pounds, he is a great size to take on car rides, walks on a trail or  your local neighborhood.  He will welcome new dogs and people to meet and did we mention that he LOVES CATS!   To our Boy George they are just another friend in life!   We will require a home with a securely fenced yard so that this boy can explore and hang out in the great outdoors/backyard.  He is not a digger and he is not a fence climber.  But he is a dog that requires the stimulation both physically and mentally every day.  Teach him things and he will make you a proud dog owner. Someone is looking for a dog like this.  Maybe an only dog in the home or just a great addition because he will be play buddies with anyone.  But always know that you must be the leader of your pack and Boy George.  He craves the boundaries and rules.  He thrives best not having his way and is so moldable.  If interested please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Mention where you live, city and state.  Transport is available to the northeast outside of Tennessee where he is being fostered PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption. Story
This handsome blue eyed Border Collie is called Hitch.  A devoted dog that loves to go for runs with his human (trained to run in front and answer to voice commands) and can run long distances too.  He is 6 years old but you would never know it.  He is the best dog ever.  Crate trained and housebroken and neutered with all updated shots and HW negative.  He is great with other dogs and most every cat he meets.  He is a dog that really doesn’t enjoy the company and activity of really young children.  They make him nervous. He loves to go for rides in the car with his person.  He is seeking a quiet home away from the busy road and all of the cars, buses, motorcycles, etc. that make him anxious. None of these vehicles bother him when he runs since he is “working.”  The best home for him would be an active family who lives out on land and he can run and play.  Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested. Story
Nelly is a purebred Border Collie who is 5 years old, 45 pounds, and has lived her entire life outside.....until now.  We were told by a neighbor that over the years,  she has had multiple litters of pups and was pretty much neglected. Her owner ended up being incarcerated and we were able to get her original owner to surrender her to the rescue. This vibrant girl is now housebroken and wonderful with children. Other dogs and even good with cats.   We have spayed her so that she will never have to deal with giving birth to puppies outdoors ever again. When considering Nelly, we highly encourage you to do your research on Border Collies! They are NOT apartment dogs because they need a job! She is super intelligent but she needs room to run and in her case we insist on a FENCED YARD. Nelly is full of love and energy and is absolutely wonderful with young children, so much so, that you can probably train her to be their 'Nanny'!  Nelly promises a family or couple,  many years of fun and entertainment!   If you qualify with the fenced yard, the ability to give her the mental and physical stimulation every day, and of course, the devoted love, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.   She is in Tennessee, but we do transport to the northeast with our van filled with adopted dogs and cats every weekend     Currently in Tennessee, Nelly can hitch a ride to the Northeast in our cozy adoption van — traveling alongside a crew of fellow rescues heading to their forever homes.  Ready to make her part of your pack?Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and let them know you’re ready to welcome this amazing girl into your heart and home. Nelly’s finally living the life she deserves. Maybe… just maybe, it’s with you.   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.May 10, 2025, 8:54 pm

Story
🐾 Meet Moo! 🐾 Moo is a sweet, mellow Border Collie mix with a soft heart and a truly special story. This gentle girl is playful, cuddly, and full of quiet charm. She loves snuggling close, trotting after toys, and simply being near her people. Moo came to us as an orphaned puppy and was lovingly bottle-fed and raised by the female trustees in our prison program. Their compassion helped shape her into the loving, trusting companion she is today. With her calm nature and affectionate soul, Moo is ready to bring warmth and joy to a forever home. If you're looking for a loyal friend with a one-of-a-kind story, Moo is waiting to meet you. 🐮💖 If you'd like to adopt Moo please fill out our online application at https://www.goofyfootrescue.org/adoption-application.html#/ Goofy Foot Dog Rescue Adoption Team www.goofyfootrescue.org
