Meet Kylo Say hello to Kylo! Kylo is a stunning Border Collie / Australian Shepherd who is 2 years old and weighs 40pounds. This beautiful girl was owner surrendered to the Fredericksburg Shelter, after her mom was hospitalized and the children did not have time to take care of her dogs. Kylo is a very sweet, social dog. She loves to be busy and enjoys running around, exploring her surroundings. She has fun playing with toys and true to her breed is active and smart. She will be a wonderful fit for an active family who can give her lots of daily exercise and enrichment. Kylo will be a great walking or hiking buddy to take on adventures. She loves to play with other dogs, but she would prefer to be fed separately in a kennel or another room during meal time. Kylo is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and available for a meet and greet with approved application. Her adoption fee is $325. Kes is a cattle dog mix not high energy. She is 3 years old , she is protective of her family. She is a very sweet loving dog and needs someone with no children. Please consider this beautiful and loyal dog. We do not know how she would be with cats or older children. Because she is a herding dog she is not good around our 9 month old baby. Being protective of her family she has nipped at a few visitors. No shelters or rescues will take her for this reason. They are saying to euthanize her. It seems like a sad reason but we are running out of options. We would like to work with her but can’t take a chance with the baby to do so. Please if you are a couple with no ties to children in the home. Or a single person willing to save her please consider her she is normally a sweet loving dog. Please help us save her.

I'm needing to rehome my 6 year old Australian shepherd. Her name is Harley and she is a pure bred Merle Aussie. She is a very relaxed dog, but is also very anxious. She will need someone who is willing to give her the love and attention she deserves. I Prefer her to go to a home with no kids or cats. Dogs are ok but not younger dogs. Because of her very submissive behavior it has made my cats very nervous around her and they have all 3 began attacking her which is making her irritable. This is incredibly hard for me to do, but she has growled at my son a couple times because of being irritable and it's just not fair for her to be constantly anxious and kept in her dog room for extended periods of time. I am not looking for an expensive adoption fee, and I am open to discuss a lower fee, but because of that I will be very picky on who she goes with to ensure she is placed with the perfect family.
