Hi, I’m Candace, a beautiful and energetic Border Collie mix. I’m 9 months old, 50 pounds, and black and white in color. I’m looking for my forever home where I can be your loyal and fun companion. I’m a friendly and playful girl who loves the water. I’m house, crate, and leash trained, and I’m ready to go on adventures with you. I’m spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, so I’m healthy and happy. My rescue is not sure of my breed, but their best guess is Border Collie mix. I’m good with children and other dogs, but I don’t like cats. I have good puppy energy and I would do best with an active family. I was saved just in time from euthanasia at Memphis Animal Services. Now I am looking for a forever family of my own. If you’re looking for a loyal and fun companion, I’m your girl. At 2-3 years old and around 40 pounds, I’m the perfect blend of brains and brawn. My captivating blue eyes will have you falling head over paws! I’m a high-energy guy, always ready for an adventure. Whether it’s chasing a ball, exploring the great outdoors, or learning new tricks, count me in! I’m super smart and a quick learner – especially if treats are involved. I’m not just about playtime; I’m a cuddler too! Belly rubs? Yes, please! I thrive on human attention and will happily sit in your lap – even if I’m a bit bigger than your average lap dog. Now, let’s talk about my quirks. I’m not a fan of crates – they cramp my style. And watch out for your ankles – my herding instincts kick in, and I might try a playful nip. But fear not! Friendly Finn is a lucky dog.  You know one of those who was in a really bad shelter that was run by lazy people who didn’t care if any of the dogs got out alive.  He is a handsome and very friendly Border Collie/Pointer mix that is truly a good looking dog who is about 3 years old, fully vetted, 35 pounds and was at the shelter for 2 years.  TRUTH!   How awful that this beautiful soul was there in that dirty place and in the tiny kennel run with another dog. Kenzie is a beautiful young, 2 year old example of a stunning Border Collie that is in need of the right home that understands her specialness as a breed. What a precious, loving, beautiful young dog. Vance is a delight with many kisses! While slightly shy after his plane ride from Duplin County, he quickly warmed up and was so happy to ride in the car to his next destination. He covered his backseat handler with tons of love and kisses. Vance is about 35 lbs with eyes that melt your heart. He wants to be close to you, almost hugging you, yet ready to run and play. His fur is so soft and beautiful as if he has just been groomed. Vance is probably not quite a year old yet but will make a wonderful pet, especially for agility and obedience work. Vance is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, on heartworm and flea prevention, and will be neutered and microchipped as soon as possible. He was very good with his traveling partner, a beautiful tan and white Beagle and collie mix, also from Duplin County, NC, and tested well with other dogs at the shelter. Now that Vance is getting ready for his forever home, you won’t find a happier dog! He's very playful and eager to please his humans.
