Story
Friendly Finn is a lucky dog.  You know one of those who was in a really bad shelter that was run by lazy people who didn’t care if any of the dogs got out alive.  He is a handsome and very friendly Border Collie/Pointer mix that is truly a good looking dog who is about 3 years old, fully vetted, 35 pounds and was at the shelter for 2 years.  TRUTH!   How awful that this beautiful soul was there in that dirty place and in the tiny kennel run with another dog. He wasn’t fed much and he is lucky to have survived the torture of that specific shelter.   Friendly is a good word for Finn since he is good with other dogs and kids unknown.  He is surprisingly very good on a leash, but his nerves can get the best of him when riding in a car.  He might need a little medication till he gets used to riding.  Finn needs a big yard or maybe daily trips to a dog park.  We want him to live a life that is not limited as he has experienced these past 2+ years in the shelter.  If you are interested in Fostering or Adopting Finn please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.July 24, 2024, 11:00 am

Story
This beauty is called Ally Blue and she is a dynamic female puppy that is going to lead an active and fun life with the perfect family.  Her blue eyes are riveting and her personality is unique and fun.  She is living with multiple dogs, teen girls and a mini-hobby farm menagerie of animals.   She is curious, active, smart and all smiles every minute of the day.  This little Border Collie/Aussie mix girl is 13 weeks old and looking for that perfect home that has active family members, a fenced yard, lots of time to train and spend teaching her all the dog manners that will make this smart girl the best dog ever.  She is crate trained, learning all about 100% housebreaking and almost there.  She has a colorful persona and she is a soft furred doll baby. If you are interested in raising a girl like this to be a 45 -50 pounds dogs ultimately that is a busy part of your family fabric, then email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com July 24, 2024, 11:00 am

Story
What a precious, loving, beautiful young dog. Vance is a delight with many kisses! While slightly shy after his plane ride from Duplin County, he quickly warmed up and was so happy to ride in the car to his next destination. He covered his backseat handler with tons of love and kisses. Vance is about 35 lbs with eyes that melt your heart. He wants to be close to you, almost hugging you, yet ready to run and play. His fur is so soft and beautiful as if he has just been groomed. Vance is probably not quite a year old yet but will make a wonderful pet, especially for agility and obedience work. Vance is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, on heartworm and flea prevention, and will be neutered and microchipped as soon as possible. He was very good with his traveling partner, a beautiful tan and white Beagle and collie mix, also from Duplin County, NC, and tested well with other dogs at the shelter. Now that Vance is getting ready for his forever home, you won’t find a happier dog! He's very playful and eager to please his humans. If you are interested in adopting Vance or need more information, just email adoptionsecondchance@gmail.com or go to secondchancehabitat.org and download an adoption application
