He’s also on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention — healthy and ready to go! He is around 5 years old. This sweet boy is crate trained and does well with other dogs, though he prefers larger canine friends over smaller ones. Like any Border Collie, he’s got a natural prey drive and a strong desire to run, so a fenced yard and an active home are a must. Koda isn’t suited for livestock work — he’s looking for a companion home where he can use his smarts for play, training, and fun adventures. Koda is extremely intelligent and eager to please. He knows sit, hug, and roll over, and is working on improving his recall. Once he learns something, he doesn’t forget — he’s a fast study and a total people-pleaser! He’s perfectly capable of relaxing and watching movie and shows. He loves to go on hikes and to run around. He’s super fast too. His recall is fantastic. I would be hesitant to change his and since he’s super responsive to Winston and Winnie. He’s absolutely not an aggressive dog but when he’s scared or anxious he reacts by nipping which is the boarder collie in him. Winston also loves to lay out in the sun. When you have guests over do a slow introduction. Have him in a crate in a separate room then bring him out. Treats are perfect for introducing him to people. He’s also comfortable with a soft muzzle and pretty calm with it on. Bandit was adopted from our rescue as a pup and was sadly brought back because his adopter was having a baby and unable to care for him. He is a loving boy who is used to lots of room to run and play. He loves the outdoors, making him a wonderful camping/hiking partner. He has been raised around kids, but because he is a cattledog, he may try to nip them. He means no harm; it's just his breed. Bandit is housebroken and crate trained according to his previous family. He has lived with other dogs but has not been tested around cats.
