He’s also on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention — healthy and ready to go! He is around 5 years old. This sweet boy is crate trained and does well with other dogs, though he prefers larger canine friends over smaller ones. Like any Border Collie, he’s got a natural prey drive and a strong desire to run, so a fenced yard and an active home are a must. Koda isn’t suited for livestock work — he’s looking for a companion home where he can use his smarts for play, training, and fun adventures. Koda is extremely intelligent and eager to please. He knows sit, hug, and roll over, and is working on improving his recall. Once he learns something, he doesn’t forget — he’s a fast study and a total people-pleaser! He does NOT get along with unfixed male dogs. -KNOWN WITH CATS: No experience with cats -KNOWN WITH KIDS: Has been fine with kids, BUT due to some of his herding dog behaviors is recommended for a home with older teens/adults only. -KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Winston is housebroken and crate trained! -KNOWN LIKES: Winston LOVES going to the dog park, laying in the sun, going on hikes, and chilling while the family watches movies -KNOWN DISLIKES: Fast introductions to new people in the home. (he's fine outside of the home!) Winston is a great pup, who needs a home comfortable with a dog that is wary around new people! Being part herding breed, his instinct is to nip at someone coming in when they make him nervous. He’s also comfortable with a soft muzzle and pretty calm with it on. Full of life and charisma. May come across as disengaged in a big, busy setting such as adoption events BUT she is a completely different dog at home . Yes she is still spunky and playful, but she also wants to be near you, giving you kisses and the funniest little dog hugs. She is more of a lover girl than she lets on at first. She is incredible with kids, and will have the whole family rolling laughing with her antics. She has been in a home with a cat before , she is intrigued but is learning to respect boundaries ; will do well with cats who are more assertive at teaching those boundaries. She is perfectly crate trained , albeit a little talkative at times as she’d rather be right next to her loved ones. Making great strides in her house training as well and learning basic commands. You will not meet a more food motivated dog so you can essentially teach this smart girl anything. She loves other dogs and puppies and is a fan of “big dog” play , so will do best in a home with other like minded playful dogs. She is so sweet and hoping to get a chance to be the perfect addition to your family . I'm a cute puppy still working on housetraining and crate training. I like to chew on everything, play, eat, and then sleep!
