Jett is a gem of a dog. Handsome and happy boy, he gets along well with other dogs and truly loves children. Just 43lbs, he is a young pup who doesn’t quite know his own size but is surprisingly agile when playing. We believe he has reached his full height, but will fill out further since he arrived to us with his ribs showing. Still very young, Jett is remarkably obedient and listens to direction. He already knows Sit and will learn others in no time at all. Tug-of-war, chasing each other, and wrestling are great, but chew toys are his favorite – but honestly, he really enjoys it all. And when the day is done, when he puts his goofy head on your lap and looks at you with his big expressive eyes, you will know you are loved. I can be unpredictable so I am looking for a family with no kids 15 and under. Look deep into my different colored eyes - then get me a ball! I LOVE to play fetch! The second I see a ball or hear you say the word, I'm ready to play. I know how to fetch and I'll bring the ball right back to you and drop it at your feet. I also love water and getting sprayed with a hose! I've been lucky to join doggy social here at FOHA and I have enjoyed playing with other dogs. I love going for walks as I get to know the volunteers and they get to know me. As much as I like new dogs I am not comfortable around a lot of new people. So I would not do well in a dog park or doggie daycare. I'll go ahead and say it, I'm extremely smart. I'm looking for an active family that will put my intelligence to good use. I would love to have a huge fenced in backyard to chase my ball until my heart is content. Apartments and condos will not be a good fit for me.
