Story
Casey is a 1 year old Boarder Colley mix. I don’t know the other half. He is very smart and clever. He LOVES to play with his toys and people. He is very loyal and likes to be with his family. He has a great personality and can be quite funny. He will need a yard with a 6 foot fence. He will jump out of a fence lower than that. He likes to explore and chases anything that moves, cats, birds, flies. We love Casey but my neighbors are complaining about his escapes over our 4 ft section of fence. He is a good family dog.

Story
Super Nova is a beautiful 6-year-old border collie mix with a shaggy black coat and a gentle soul. While she may be a little shy when meeting new people, beneath that reserved exterior is a sweet dog who simply needs a little time and patience to feel comfortable. Once Super Nova learns that you're a friend, her true personality begins to shine. She prefers to take things at her own pace and would do best with a family that understands that trust is earned, not rushed. A calm, patient home will help her build confidence and show off all the wonderful qualities that make her special. At six years old, Super Nova has left the puppy chaos behind and is ready to settle into a loving home where she can enjoy life's simple pleasures—comfortable naps, leisurely walks, and the companionship of people she trusts. If you're the kind of person who appreciates the quiet reward of watching a shy dog blossom, Super Nova may be the perfect addition to your family. Sometimes the brightest stars just take a little longer to reveal their glow. ✨🐾🖤❤️

Story
Moon has officially arrived and is settling beautifully into his foster home And as luck would have it, his foster just happens to be our dog trainer… and she says this handsome boy is full of potential! At 6.5 months old and around 28 lbs, Moon is a smart, curious, playful pup with a sweet and thoughtful personality. Unlike his brother Maverick, who tends to run straight into the spotlight demanding attention, Moon is a little more reserved and polite. He’s happy to hang back, observe the situation, and then quietly come over and get attention after the rush. His foster describes him as patient, gentle, intelligent, and eager to learn. He has a wonderful temperament and is already showing how adaptable and thoughtful he can be. Moon came from a shelter in Puerto Rico alongside his many siblings Mariel, Milu, Maverick, Milan, Marley, and Morgan, all hoping for the chance at loving forever homes in the States. Now in foster care, Moon is beginning to explore, and show everyone just how special he is. This fluffy island boy is going to make an amazing companion for a lucky family Adoption fee: $395 Dog Adoption Application https://caribbeanpaws.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=7208Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Story
Sir Remington, Esquire, SOB (or just Remmy for short) is one of the happiest and most energetic dogs you'll have the pleasure of meeting. Coming in at just under 30 lbs and roughly 9 years old, this dog loves to be out exploring, running, doing anything active. He catches on to new tricks fast and really loves learning new tricks to show off. He already has a wide range of vocal and visual cues learned before I ran out of tricks to teach. His favorite treats are the Three Dog Bakery brand dog cookies and is very food motivated. Due to an unfortunate situation and the need to move, I am having to rehome him. He would do well with someone who lives an active lifestyle, can give him a fenced yard, or can spend time at a dog park. He's never been around kids or other dogs but he has lived with a cat most of his life that he got along with.

Story
â¤ï¸ Blue Sassy: The Dog Who Still Has So Much Love Left to Give ❤️   Sometimes a rescue story finds you, and before you know it, you’ve become part of a journey that desperately deserves a happy ending.   Blue Sassy is a 9-year-old Blue Heeler who spent her entire life with one man who adored her. He raised her from a puppy, and every night she slept beside him. She wasn’t just his dog—she was his comfort, his companion, and his therapy through life’s challenges.   A few months ago, her owner reached out to Critter Cavalry Rescue with a heartbreaking request. His health was failing, and he was being forced to move somewhere his beloved dogs could not follow. Through tears, he asked us to help.   When Blue Sassy came into rescue, she finally received the veterinary care she hadn’t had in years. During her spay and wellness exam, we discovered she was diabetic. The untreated diabetes had also affected her eyesight, leaving her with limited vision.   But here’s the remarkable thing about Blue Sassy…   She doesn’t feel sorry for herself.   She wakes up every day happy. She greets people with a smile. She loves to explore the yard with her nose leading the way. She loves ear scratches, belly rubs, curling up on the couch, and most of all, sitting in your lap soaking up affection. She still has all the intelligence, confidence, and personality that make Blue Heelers such incredible companions.   Her foster family absolutely adores her.   Blue Sassy would do best in a home with minimal stairs and easy access to the outdoors for potty breaks. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, loves children, and enjoys being around people. While her vision isn’t perfect, she navigates her world surprisingly well and adapts with the resilience dogs are famous for.   Her diabetes is manageable with twice-daily insulin injections, given about 12 hours apart. The insulin itself is affordable, and the injections are quick and easy. Other than her diabetes, her bloodwork and health checks have been excellent.   What Blue Sassy needs now isn’t pity.   She needs someone who sees beyond a diagnosis and recognizes the loving, loyal, funny, affectionate dog standing right in front of them.   At 9 years old, she still has plenty of life to live, plenty of cuddles to give, and plenty of memories left to make. Age is only a number, and Blue Sassy’s heart is as young as ever.   Could you be the person who gives this sweet girl the next chapter she deserves?   If you’d like to learn more about Blue Sassy, please email ccrtennessee@gmail.com.   She has already been someone’s whole world once. We’d love to find her another family to love just as deeply       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 19, 2026, 9:22 pm
