Story
Sir Remington, Esquire, SOB (or just Remmy for short) is one of the happiest and most energetic dogs you'll have the pleasure of meeting. Coming in at just under 30 lbs and roughly 9 years old, this dog loves to be out exploring, running, doing anything active. He catches on to new tricks fast and really loves learning new tricks to show off. He already has a wide range of vocal and visual cues learned before I ran out of tricks to teach. His favorite treats are the Three Dog Bakery brand dog cookies and is very food motivated. Due to an unfortunate situation and the need to move, I am having to rehome him. He would do well with someone who lives an active lifestyle, can give him a fenced yard, or can spend time at a dog park. He's never been around kids or other dogs but he has lived with a cat most of his life that he got along with.

Story
Our little black dynamo is called Roxie and she is a darling Aussie Doodle girl that was born the first of April as an accidental litter born in a rural county of Tennessee. She has the softest fur that is like bunny fur and it begs to be stroked and snuggled with.  Roxie has the most curious and intelligent personality that makes her a large and in charge kind of girl.  She just makes you realize that  you are dealing with a very smart and curious puppy. She is inquisitive and loving and plays with any dog that will play with her.  She is going to be a 45-50 pound girl when fully grown and will be a head turner with her shiny black fur and her confident aura. Raising Roxie Girl will be a delight and a fountain of entertainment as you watch her curiosity grow and her learning curve grow brighter as she conquers her puppy etiquette classes with ease.  We are looking for a family with a fenced yard, lots of fun adventures for her to go on outside the home.  She will be a friendship magnet as you show her off to the world on your travels and neighborhood errands. Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested in making this girl your very own Tennessee Treasure (where we are based out of and transport from)   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 12, 2026, 5:17 pm

Story
Our happy, soft coated fluffy girl puppy is called Patty Pro Bono and the shelter who took in the litter of Great Pyr and Australian Shepherd pups named the litter after the Lawyer who brought them in to find homes.  The lawyer's female Great Pyr  had the accidental litter on 2/26/26 and brought them in the first of last of April to find them homes. When you first meet Patty you are ready to hug her and reassure her that she will find a great family very soon.  She is happy, well adjusted and has one of those easy going personalities that is bright and upbeat.  She is a curious girl and not as big as some of her littermates that take after the Great Pyr.  Patty takes after the size of her dad who is an Australian Shepherd.  At just 15 weeks she weighs 21 pounds and is destined to be a 50 pound adult that will be fluffy and gorgeous like an Australian Shepherd, and will carry the energy and intelligence of the breed.  Patty and her litter had spent the past  4 weeks with no adoptions happening.  It was a small town shelter.  The Director started making calls and pleas to rescues and Critter Cavalry Rescue could not resist helping this beautiful litter of 6 puppies.   They needed foster care and comfort from a foster family who can show them love and training.  This incredibly beautiful  girl has done so well with other dogs and with young children.  She is just a sweetheart and is quickly learning about crate training and is on a schedule to go out for potty breaks. We want this girl to grow up successfully in a fenced yard and to learn leash manners right away.  She loves to sleep most of the night in her puppy bed on the floor by the bed.  Patty Pro Bono is more than just beautiful - she is a thoughtful girl that is sensitive and quiet.  She would lay by your feet while you work all day long.  She loves to run and romp in the yard and this is why we are looking for a family with a fence.  She is a smart, observant puppy who takes in the world around her and responds with curiosity and heart. She adores snuggling with her  foster mom and happily soaks up attention, pets, and love from everyone she meets. Watching her romp around with joyful zoomies is pure happiness in motion.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 12, 2026, 5:17 pm

Story
Meet  JD Swagger, our young/old soul, who has the heart of a therapist and the gentle spirit of a lifelong best friend. ❤️ This handsome 4 month old Aussie/Great Pyr mix boy pup weighs 18 pounds and was part of an accidental litter born 2/26  to a pure Great Pyr mom and an Aussie dad.   The litter was raised by the owner until the end of April and then brought in to a small community shelter in Tennessee.  For 5 weeks not one puppy was adopted from the litter which was amazing to us.  The Director of the shelter started getting worried about these innocent puppies having to stay so long in a shelter and not in good adoptive homes or even a rescue's foster care.  When Critter Cavalry was called we rushed to pick them up from this well run shelter and found the best foster homes to help them on their journey to a final adoptive family.  We have found JD Swagger to be one of the smallest in size amongst his  littermates, but he has the biggest and most gentle heart.  He sits on the outskirts of the playtime area and watches over his siblings.   Definitely that Great Pyr guardian temperament and gentleness.  He seems to worry about things and wants to make sure they are getting fixed so to speak.  Goodness his foster mom just melts as she speaks about this precious boy's beautiful spirit.   JD is on his way to becoming a 50 pound adult dog or maybe a tad less.  He has the size and proportions of the Aussie breed and not his Great Pyr momma.  But his desire to protect and watch over his siblings and his humans is just amazing.  He moves with deliberate purpose and he is not one to get the zoomies and run until he drops.  He is slow and methodical and purposeful in everything he does.  Despite whatever hardships he faced early on, JD's loving nature shines brighter than anything else. In just one week in foster care, he has amazed everyone around him. He quickly learned the outside bathroom break training, leash walking, and how to listen attentively to his humans. More than that, he has shown us what a truly special companion he is. JD  has that rare “old soul” quality — the kind of dog who quietly understands you, stays close when you’re sad, and makes every day feel a little lighter.  He’s the kind of dog who simply fits anywhere and with anyone.  is wonderful with dogs, cats, chickens, children, and adults of all ages. He is gentle, easygoing, eager to please, and genuinely wants nothing more than to love and be loved.  If you have been searching for that once-in-a-lifetime companion — the dog who will protect your heart and become part of your soul — JD may be the one.  To adopt JD, please email ccrtennessee@gmail.com and tell us where you live. We’ll send you an adoption application to begin the process.  Please share to help this incredible boy find the forever family he deserves.

Story
Meet Milo Milo is a handsome Australian Shepherd mix who is about 8 months old and weighs 32 pounds. Behind those beautiful eyes is a story of survival, kindness, and a second chance. Sometimes it feels like special dogs find exactly the right people when they need them most. Milo and his sister, Millie, were abandoned and left to fend for themselves along a local Greenway. Thankfully, fate stepped in when his foster mom, Kayla, crossed paths with Millie and learned there was another frightened puppy hiding nearby. For three days, Milo stayed just out of reach, taking shelter in a drainage ditch and avoiding people. When he was finally caught and brought to safety, he was covered in fleas and ticks and understandably scared of the world around him. Today, Milo is discovering what it means to be loved. While he can still be timid around loud noises and unfamiliar situations, he warms up quickly and simply wants to be close to his people. Every day his confidence grows a little more as he learns that he is finally safe. He is wonderful with young children, gets along well with cats, and does great with other dogs. Like most puppies his age, Milo enjoys chewing, so he happily keeps himself entertained with his favorite chew toys. He is also making great progress with potty training and learning all the skills he needs to become an amazing family companion.  Because of his gentle and affectionate personality, Milo would thrive in a home with another friendly dog and a family that can give him plenty of companionship. He doesn’t enjoy being alone for long periods and would do best with someone who is home often or has a flexible schedule. He prefers to eat his meals separately from other dogs, but otherwise enjoys canine company and seems happiest when he has a furry friend nearby. Milo has overcome so much in his young life, and now all he needs is a family to show him that he will never be abandoned again. If you would like to give this deserving boy the forever home he has been waiting for, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Milo is ready to leave his days of uncertainty behind and start the next chapter of his life with a family of his very own.

Story
Meet Funny Phil!If you are looking for a puppy with charm, good looks, a sense of humor, and a heart full of love, then allow us to introduce you to Funny Phil. This happy-go-lucky Mini Aussiedoodle is 12 weeks old, weighs about 12 pounds, and is expected to grow into a wonderful 30–40 pound companion. Wherever he goes, Phil seems to attract attention. Maybe it's his adorable face, his expressive eyes, or the way he always seems to have a funny look ready to make people smile. Whatever it is, this little guy has 'star quality' written all over him.Phil is the kind of puppy who wakes up every day ready to enjoy life. He loves people and believes everyone he meets is a potential best friend. He happily soaks up attention, gives out affection freely, and is always ready to be part of whatever is happening around him. Whether you're taking a walk, riding in the car, hanging out in the yard, or relaxing on the couch, Phil is delighted just to be included. This sweet boy also has wonderful manners for such a young pup. He is crate trained and making excellent progress with housebreaking. He's smart, eager to learn, and has just the right amount of energy—playful and fun without being overwhelming. He gets along beautifully with other dogs, is comfortable around cats, and is gentle and loving with children.Phil's story started a little differently than most puppies. He was born in a litter of six and spent the first eight weeks of his life living outdoors. When Critter Cavalry Rescue learned about the puppies' situation, they stepped in to give them the clean, safe, and loving start they deserved. Phil has embraced his second chance with enthusiasm and gratitude, and now he's ready to find the forever family he was always meant to have.We can easily picture Phil growing up to be that once-in-a-lifetime dog—the one who goes everywhere with his family, greets every day with a wagging tail, and keeps everyone laughing with his silly expressions and joyful personality. He has a way of making ordinary moments feel special.Funny Phil will be ready on June 19 to hop aboard the transport van from Nashville and head toward the family of his dreams. The only question is whether that family might be yours. For more information about adopting Phil, please contact ccrnewengland@gmail.com.Warning: prolonged exposure to Funny Phil may result in excessive smiling, frequent puppy kisses, and a sudden inability to imagine life without him. ❤️ PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 12, 2026, 5:17 pm
