Story
We are looking to re-home our wonderful pup Cooper. Cooper is a Bordoodle and was born on 12/19/22 and I have all of his original paperwork along with vaccination records. Cooper is great with kiddos, cats, and small dogs as he was raised with all 3. This was an extremely difficult decision for our family but Cooper is a high energy breed. In order to reach his maximum potential he requires structure and training that unfortunately we just don’t have the bandwidth to provide. He would thrive in a home with lots of land, as he loves to run. A fenced in yard would be a requirement if in a neighborhood. Cooper is also very inquisitive and if not properly exercised can be mischievous. All in all he really is a wonderful dog and has an extremely loving personality. Please feel free to ask any additional questions, as we want to find the perfect home for our sweet guy.

Story
Hi, I’m Candace, a beautiful and energetic Border Collie mix. I’m 9 months old, 50 pounds, and black and white in color. I’m looking for my forever home where I can be your loyal and fun companion. I’m a friendly and playful girl who loves the water. I’m house, crate, and leash trained, and I’m ready to go on adventures with you. I’m spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, so I’m healthy and happy. My rescue is not sure of my breed, but their best guess is Border Collie mix. I’m good with children and other dogs, but I don’t like cats. I have good puppy energy and I would do best with an active family. I was saved just in time from euthanasia at Memphis Animal Services. Now I am looking for a forever family of my own. If you’re looking for a loyal and fun companion, I’m your girl. I am being fostered in Crab Orchard, Kentucky but can be transported to other states for the right family. If you are interested in adopting me, please feel out an application today! I can’t wait to meet you.

Story
Hi, I’m Mya, a lively Border Collie mix with a sleek black coat. I’m a young girl at just 1 year and nine months old, and I’ve been given a clean bill of health – I’m spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, and although I’m heartworm positive, I’m on a slow kill treatment that’s going well. I weigh about 40-45 pounds. I’m a model resident when it comes to crate and leash training, and I’ve been told I’m the best house-trained dog you could ever meet. I’m a bundle of joy who gets along with just about everyone and everything. I get along with other dogs and I don’t bother the cats. I’m an incredibly friendly and excitable pup who loves to play and is known as the best snuggler around. My past is a bit of a tough one – I was hit by a car when I was 7 months old, which resulted in a broken back, pelvis, ribs, and leg. I almost lost my leg but ended up healing nicely and I’ve made a remarkable recovery. I am active but I can’t go on a 5-mile walk, for example. I can jump – though I usually choose not to. Since I’m still very much a puppy at heart, toys are a must to keep me entertained; otherwise, I might find something else to chew on. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who loves cuddles and has overcome great challenges, then I’m your girl. Let’s start our forever adventure together! I’m currently being fostered in Hampton, VA, but for the right family, I can be transported to nearby states. If you’re over 21 and looking for a loyal friend to share your life with, I might just be the perfect match. Fill out an application to see if we’re meant to be!

Story
Hello, my name is Merlin and I’m here to sweep you off your feet. I’m a dashing Border Collie mix with a striking white and black coat. At 2-3 years old and around 40 pounds, I’m the perfect blend of brains and brawn. My captivating blue eyes will have you falling head over paws! I’m a high-energy guy, always ready for an adventure. Whether it’s chasing a ball, exploring the great outdoors, or learning new tricks, count me in! I’m super smart and a quick learner – especially if treats are involved. I’m not just about playtime; I’m a cuddler too! Belly rubs? Yes, please! I thrive on human attention and will happily sit in your lap – even if I’m a bit bigger than your average lap dog. Now, let’s talk about my quirks. I’m not a fan of crates – they cramp my style. And watch out for your ankles – my herding instincts kick in, and I might try a playful nip. But fear not! With some guidance, I’ll learn what’s appropriate. I’ve been in boarding because of my escape artist skills (I’m like Houdini with fences!). But what I really want is a family to call my own. Maybe you’re the one? Let’s embark on this beautiful journey together! I am selective with other dogs. I have not been cat-tested but I can be if you’d like. I am vaccinated and neutered. I am also heartworm positive and receiving treatment. Currently hanging out in Lewisville, NC, but I can be transported for the right match. Are you up for Merlin’s adventure? Let’s find out. Fill out an application today! *Must be 21 or older to apply.

After meeting the dog and determining that it matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. Story
Meet Murphy, our adorable little Border Collie Mix boy puppy who was rescued from a small town shelter where he was under weight and riddled with internal parasites.  His future was very bleak but now Murphy has been treated and is a healthy, happy little guy free of parasites and gaining weight like a puppy should.  Born around November 1st, he is approximately 10 weeks old (as of Jan 5th) and weighs 12 pounds.  He is expected to reach around 40 pounds as an adult.  He is friendly with all humans (toddlers included), dogs and cats that he has been in contact with.  Murphy is curious, playful and very loveable and is quite the talker.  Murphy seems to be the most curious of his siblings.  His foster mom believes he is mixed with many different breeds that are smart and inquisitive.  If you are interested please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 15, 2024, 7:36 pm

Story
Meet Coco, a sweet and soulful 8-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix searching for her peaceful haven. This gentle lady craves a calm and quiet household where she can relax and feel secure. While she enjoys gentle walks and playtime, Coco's true happiness comes from simply being in the company of her humans.Coco has a sensitive nature and can be easily overstimulated by too much noise or activity. Because of this, she is unable to live in an apartment building. She's happiest in a predictable environment with a gentle routine, where she can unwind and feel safe. This doesn't mean she's a couch potato - Coco still loves exploring the outdoors at her own pace and savoring cuddle sessions with her favorite people.Ideal for a patient and understanding adopter, Coco would thrive in a home without young children or other pets. She seeks a devoted companion who understands her need for tranquility and is committed to creating a serene space for her to call home.If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who values peace and quiet as much as you do, Coco could be the perfect match. With love and a gentle touch, her sweet personality will truly shine.
