Whether he`s chasing toys, zooming around the yard, or just being his hilarious self, Ted lives life to the fullest.Ted is happiest when he’s on the move. He’s incredibly smart and curious, and would love a home where he can keep both his body and mind busy—think long walks, playdates, or even agility training! Ted may do well living in a home with other animals as long as proper, slow introductions are performed. Ted is a border collie mix, which is a herding breed. Baloo is currently located in a foster home. Here`s what his foster mom has to say about him:Baloo is a smart, affectionate, and shy little guy who is all puppy! He would benefit from living with a confident older dog who can help show him the ropes and a home that will introduce him to new things at his pace so as not to overwhelm him. He loves to play, and is learning about appropriate social skills from his foster brothers and sister. He loves to chase, wrestle, and play tug with other dogs. Baloo is crate trained and sleeps through the night, but needs to be let out to potty frequently when he`s awake. He loves to chew, and like any puppy is in his teething stage so he needs lots of appropriate chew toys! He can settle down nicely with a nylabone to chew on. He`s very smart and loves to learn new cues. He knows `sit`, `down`, `touch`, and is working on `wait`. He`s a pro at sitting and waiting for his meals! Baloo is a sponge for attention and cuddly in his less active moments. Baloo knows how to walk on a leash and is getting used to a harness. He`s leery of stairs and jumping in cars, but is building his confidence with both and rides well once he`s in a vehicle. At times, he can get a mouthy and jumpy if he`s overstimulated or overtired, but this is easily fixed with a nap in his crate! He`s a growing and hungry boy that needs to be fed separately so he doesn`t take other pets` food. Mowgli is ready to grow up in his forever home! He`s a sweet little guy who loves to put his head in anyone`s lap for some ear rubs. Mowgli is a thoughtful little pup who likes to take things slow, but his confidence is growing each day. He would thrive in a home that will introduce him to new things at his pace so as not to overwhelm him. He`s very smart and is picking up on basic cues while he`s been at the shelter, and we`ve learned he`s a great passenger for car rides! His favorite toys are crinkly toys, and he`s even impressed us with his chasing skills on a lure course. He has typical bursts of puppy energy, but he settles well next to someone`s lap or with a toy to keep him busy. Mowgli has been interested in playing with other dogs, and may do well in a home with a mellow canine companion. He`s also been polite with meeting new cat friends and we believe he could learn to live with a feline friend.
