Story
My brother got the dog and never properly trained him. He is a good dog with a lot of energy but needs a lot of attention and play time that my brother does not give him. He is not aggressive in anyway, has never bite or growled. He plays very well with all dogs. He is also not 100% potty trained. If he is taken out every few hours he is good but if left unsupervised for longer he will have accidents in the house. I would really like to rehome him as my brother can not care for the dog and I work 60+ hours a week. Overall he is a very good dog, he just needs some training. If I can not find anyone soon I will have to bring him to a shelter. I am also not 100% sure what breed he is, I think he is a red heeler mix.

Story
Hey it's Pumpernickel here (Pumpkin for short) and yes I have been told how smashingly adorable I am hehe. I made the trip to Wisconsin and am looking for a place to call my own. Since being in Wisconsin I have learned to play fetch and catch Frisbees. I don't always bring them back, but love to run around with them. I love going on walks and even enjoy running with my foster dad and girl. My leash skills are good and even have learned to run along when needed. So if you need a running partner I'm game, or a nice fenced in yard to play catch, I am easy like that. When I'm lounging in the house I love chewing on antlers and hard toys. I do love the squeaking toys. Finding the squeaker is top priority! I have also conquered treat puzzle toys. They make me use my brain. The teenager girl in the home will play chase me and cuddle with me when done. When I'm not playing I love to be with my people. Cars rides with my people are the best. That way I can explore the world with you. I have been to parades and a baseball game even, yep just call me Mr. Social. Being with you is on the top of my list. I'm potty trained and go in the kennel with a little boost. I'm a young male around 1-2 years old. I do know some basic commands like sit, lay down, off and leave it. In my foster home I do have two dogs, the older one ignores me but the other one is fun we play chase thru the yard. Being younger and playful I would like a dog just as playful in the home or a home where I'm the one and only. I do love all the attention and belly rubs. I love all dogs and people I meet. If you feel like I'm a perfect companion for you apply at Sandi Paws. I cannot wait to make memories with you !Thank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Story
Are you looking for a sweet and fun loving dog? Then Ella is your girl! Ella is super friendly, happy, and always up for playing outside or snuggling. When Ella first entered our care, she had a bad case of "happy tail." Happy tail is when a dog wags their tail so often and vigorously, it injures the tail. But no worries, she's all healed up now and verified as a happy tail kind of dog. Ella is also a very smart girl and already knowing some basic tricks. Ella absolutely loves to play ball and gets the zoomies with excitement for play time in the yard. Ella seems to love all people and enjoys being around others. She previously lived with children and would love a family of her own again. Ella loves playing with other dogs and making friends. Her favorite thing is to play chase with other dogs. Please fill out an application to meet our sweet and happy Ella! She can't wait to meet you. Please note:- Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed.-Applications can be downloaded from our website. (http://neenahanimalshelter.org/how-to-adopt.html)- Our shelter no longer has open visiting hours, so a pre-approved application and scheduled appointment is needed prior to meeting any of our animals

Story
We'd like to introduce you to a very special boy named MJ. MJ came to Wisconsin this last weekend after spending the last 3 months in foster care in Texas healing, recovering, and learning to be a dog. He was one of the few medium-sized dogs among many small breed dogs seized from a large hoarding case in Texas that also brought us past alumni Kiff and Nimbus. MJ was saved from a home covered in feces that contained over 40 dogs that were not taken care of or even socialized. When he got to Texas foster care, he was completely shut down and covered in Mange (shown in the last 2 pics). His Texas foster did everything in her power to help him learn that people could be safe and to help make him healthy again. We are so grateful that she did this because now he has joined us in Wisconsin at Our Pack and is doing great! While he is still nervous and gets startled easily, he is doing well even in a busy household with dogs of all sizes and even with men and children. He is his new foster momma's shadow and follows her everywhere, and it's been especially fun seeing his goofy side of getting the morning zoomies with his 4-legged friends. This special boy has won the hearts of many already, but is now on the search for his furever family to help him complete his journey. He has been accident free and shows no food aggression despite his rough start. He is searching for someone who will continue socialization and be patient with him as he learns more and more each day.July 25, 2024, 10:38 pm
