·Intake Reason: Surrendered due to allergies & not doing well with the resident cat·Weight: 50 lbs. Known with: ·Cats: Stalks, not aggressive, needs work ·Dogs: Lived with SF APBT; Does well in WCHS playgroups ·Kids: Unknown ·Personality: IntelligentHi, I'm Jett. I can be a little nervous and loud when I meet new people but I listen to cues like sit and down very well, which seems to snap me out of my sass. I am an extremely intelligent young guy who absolutely needs a job to do! I'm very playful with other dogs but am likely too much for cats. Because of my breeds, I may also try to herd small children. I know so much already and will become an even greater dog for the right person, but without daily mental enrichment and physical exercise, it's highly likely I'll cause lots of mischief. WCHS will be picking the home they feel is best suited to meet my needs.#2

Story
Hi there! I'm Obsidian! I arrived at NAS as a stray back in February 2023. I was in a foster home for 6 months but unfortunately had to return to the shelter due to clashing personalities with another dog in the home. I am a highly energetic and playful little lady who would do well in a family that leads an active lifestyle. I require a child free home due to fear-based aggression and herding behaviors. I am looking for a family that can evaluate other dogs due to make sure it is a positive experience due to being dog selective. Staff here think I'd make a great sports/agility dog due to the amount of exercise I require in a day as well as being incredibly smart. I love to keep my brain working so continued training would help with my fear-based aggression and territorial behavior. I am a little nervous around strangers and have been working on this with a behaviorist and my foster family prior to coming back to the shelter. In a home I will need a safe space for when guest visit the home and a space for meeting new people. Once I warm up to you, I am a complete snuggle bug. I love sitting in people's laps and getting all the pets. My favorite thing in this entire world is my tennis ball and always need to have one with me. I could play fetch for hours if you'll let me. I will require a full week of decompression time once in a new home so that we can really bond. Since new people take longer for me to become comfortable with I should be taken to a fear free certified clinic to keep things low stress and I may require some pre-appointment sedation. To keep me healthy and comfortable I am on a long-term behavior medication (Fluoxetine). Please fill out an application to meet mePlease note:- Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed.-Applications can be downloaded from our website. (http://neenahanimalshelter.org/how-to-adopt.html)- Our shelter no longer has open visiting hours, so a pre-approved application and scheduled appointment is needed prior to meeting any of our animals

Story
Everyone meet Willow. Willow has the most beautiful chocolate coat. She is currently 4 and a half years old and weighs appx 45lbs. Willow is spayed and completely house trained. Willow is out of all the puppy stages and is just a joy to have around. She gets along with all dogs big and small. Willow pulls a bit on leash but loves walks and is a great car riding companion. This girl can’t get enough belly rubs and is usually found walking around with a toy in her mouth. Willow can be a bit timid on meeting new people but it doesn’t take much to get her to warm up. She could use someone who’s going to be patient with her when meeting new people. Once adopted Willow will travel via Rescue Vet pet transport to a location closest to you. (transport cost is $160.00) If you would like to make this adorable girl part of your family please follow the link below to our application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9
