Story
Meet Leek, a joyful, affectionate boy who isn’t shy about showing how much he loves you! His favorite way to say hello is by jumping up to give you a hug, and when he gets excited, his whole body wiggles with happiness. Leek has a big personality and an even bigger heart, and he brings so much fun and energy wherever he goes. Because of his enthusiastic greetings and jumpy, wiggly nature, Leek would do best in a home with kids aged 14 and older who can handle his excitement and help reinforce good manners. He gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having canine friends to play with or simply relax beside. Leek is a loving, happy pup who just wants to share his affection with everyone around him. With continued guidance and a family who appreciates his playful spirit, he’ll make an incredibly fun and devoted companion.

We are dedicated to making a difference by providing essential resources and compassionate care to enhance the quality of life for animals. As their voice, we advocate for their well-being by raising awareness about the shelter crisis, promoting responsible pet guardianship, and ensuring the compassionate treatment of all animals. *Our Vision* We envision a world where every animal is understood with empathy, treated with kindness and respect, and where the unique bond between humans and animals is cherished — enriching all lives. *Spay & Neuter is required by law in Colorado, helping to break the cycle of unwanted litters.* Please consider supporting our mission. Story
Oscar is an almost 2 year old Border Collie mix. Sadly, Oscar spent the majority of his life in a large shelter. He went in when he was about 10 weeks old and stayed there until he was a year and a half, when we were able to get him out. Since then he's been in a foster home. He was very very nervous when he first came in, and wanted nothing to do with new people. He was very gentle however and would just cower or hide when nervous. Since being in foster, he has come a very long way. He walks very well on leash with his trusted people, and doesn't seem scared of car/traffic noises. He is still very shy of new people, but once warmed up he's very sweet and offers tail wags, and likes to be pet. He is kennel trained and likes to go into his kennel as a safe space, and is very food motivated. He is potty trained and will potty on leash. Oscar will need. very patient and quiet home, with the understanding that he will take time to warm up but then will be a very sweet guy. We also recommend he go to a home with other dogs, since he absolutely loves all other dogs and will need a confident dog to show him that things are ok! Oscar is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Story
Oliver is an approx. 10 month old border collie mix looking for his forever home. He was brought into a shelter in New Mexico by Animal Control, where he sat at the back of his kennel curled up and nervous for weeks. Immediately after coming up to Colorado, his personality came out. He is a goofy, sweet boy, with the most gorgeous merle coat and blue eyes, who loves playing with all other dogs, people, and has recently discovered toys! He is looking for a family who would like to bring him on adventures, show him the best parts of being a house dog, and give him lots of treats and snuggles. He is kennel trained and potty trained, and is learning to walk well on a leash. We will prioritize applicants with other dogs, since Oliver LOVES other dogs. Oliver is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. His adoption fee is $350. Story
Meet Sabrina, a bundle of sunshine with a personality as bright as her smile. This happy-go-lucky girl is equal parts playful and affectionate, bringing charm and joy everywhere she goes. Sabrina is kennel trained, house trained, and already knows how to be a well-mannered little lady in the home. She settles in beautifully and then happily springs into action when it’s time for fun. Playtime is her absolute favorite—whether she’s chasing toys, showing off her zoomies in the yard, or inviting her people to join in the excitement. True to her instincts, Sabrina has a touch of natural herding savvy and may adorably try to “organize” smaller dogs to keep the group together. It’s all part of her clever, engaged personality. She would thrive in a home that appreciates her playful brain and gives her outlets for both mental and physical activity. When the day winds down, this snuggle bug is more than ready to curl up beside you and soak in all the love. With her sweet face, wagging tail, and joyful spirit, Sabrina is truly a beauty inside and out. If you’re searching for a fun-loving, affectionate companion who will keep you smiling and shower you with devotion, Sabrina might just be your perfect match. Sabrina is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $250 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Sabrina is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption!
