Story
Are you looking for a handsome dog who already loves you with all his heart? Maybe you’d like a dog who wants to experience the world through fun activities like dog sports or outdoor adventures. Perhaps you feel your current dog needs a playful companion. Or, you don’t have a dog, and it’s you who needs a spirited and quick-witted best friend. No matter who you are, Jennings may just be the dog for you. Jennings, the young Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix known for his striking eyes and beautiful coat, is a great dog who loves engaging with toys, playing with other dogs, and learning new things. Currently in a foster home, Jennings has already demonstrated that he is house trained and has strong doggy social skills. Not only that, he’s shown great progress with recall training, on-leash skills, and crate training. Jennings is an energetic and fun dog (as any herding breed enthusiast will know!). He loves to greet visitors enthusiastically, so his fosters are working on teaching him how to keep calm when appropriate. Because of Jenning’s lively spirit, he would do best in a home without little humans who would be overwhelmed by a dog jumping up on them. Thanks to his incredible fosters, Jennings has also been working on staying calm when he sees other dogs pass by him on walks. We have also learned that he thrives in calm home environments where he can escape the chaos of the big city. Now, you may think him a country bumpkin for that attitude–but Jennings started out life in Texas before becoming a Colorado transplant! Can you really blame him? Jennings has made incredible strides since arriving in Colorado for the first time. His fosters adore him, and know that there are so many people out there who will feel the same way. The only problem is, those friends-to-be need to meet him first! If you're interested in meeting this amazing dog, please call Animal Friends Alliance at (970) 484-8516 to learn more.

Indie loves to snuggle, take long sniffy walks, and play. She is food motivated, crate trained and eager to please. Indie is 48 lbs of silly, sweet, friendly, occasionally anxious, and sometimes stubborn fluff who would love to meet you! She would do well in a home without young children as she can be excitable, but could love having another doggie friend in her life. She has been a gift to raise, but I am dealing with chronic health issues that have led me to be unable to provide Indie the consistent care that she deserves.

Story
Oscar is an almost 2 year old Border Collie mix. Sadly, Oscar spent the majority of his life in a large shelter. He went in when he was about 10 weeks old and stayed there until he was a year and a half, when we were able to get him out. Since then he's been in a foster home. He was very very nervous when he first came in, and wanted nothing to do with new people. He was very gentle however and would just cower or hide when nervous. Since being in foster, he has come a very long way. He walks very well on leash with his trusted people, and doesn't seem scared of car/traffic noises. He is still very shy of new people, but once warmed up he's very sweet and offers tail wags, and likes to be pet. He is kennel trained and likes to go into his kennel as a safe space, and is very food motivated. He is potty trained and will potty on leash. Oscar will need. very patient and quiet home, with the understanding that he will take time to warm up but then will be a very sweet guy. We also recommend he go to a home with other dogs, since he absolutely loves all other dogs and will need a confident dog to show him that things are ok! Oscar is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Story
Oliver is an approx. 10 month old border collie mix looking for his forever home. He was brought into a shelter in New Mexico by Animal Control, where he sat at the back of his kennel curled up and nervous for weeks. Immediately after coming up to Colorado, his personality came out. He is a goofy, sweet boy, with the most gorgeous merle coat and blue eyes, who loves playing with all other dogs, people, and has recently discovered toys! He is looking for a family who would like to bring him on adventures, show him the best parts of being a house dog, and give him lots of treats and snuggles. He is kennel trained and potty trained, and is learning to walk well on a leash. We will prioritize applicants with other dogs, since Oliver LOVES other dogs. All Aboard!!! Animal Rescue Passenger Tinkerbell Waiting for a Forever Home! ADOPTION FEE: $550 Meet Tinkerbell: This adorable girl is ready for her forever home! From Tinkerbell’s foster, “i had such an amazing time getting to foster tinkerbelle. she’s such a love bug and loves to snuggle and play. when she’s playing she can be a bit hyper but it’s easy to give her a bone or toy to distract her and calm her down, plus she’s super fun to play with if you are looking for that! she likes to mouth a bit because of her breed but if you just give her a toy or bone she’ll get completely distracted. she also loves to bury her bones so be warned if she brings it outside you may never see it again lol🤣 but the cutest thing ever is when she tries to bury a bone in the couch- she seems so proud of herself and the bone almost every time is completely visible it’s hilarious. every time i come home she gets beyond excited to see me and spends an entire 10 minutes just circling me and wagging her tail before she even goes to the bathroom or grabs a toy it’s so cute. you can tell she loves attention and she loves to be loved. she is such a little cutie and i am praying every day that she finds a home that loves her the way she should be!!” Meet - https://youtube.com/shorts/0qkKZe0xxyI?feature=share Interested in this furry companion? Story
Meet Milo! He is a ball of joy with nonstop happy puppy energy and a heart full of love. Milo is incredibly friendly, affectionate, and always on the move. He loves people, sunshine, toys, and playtime, and he’s having a blast learning from and playing with other dogs—especially when it comes to tug-of-war. Potty training is coming along well and is very age-appropriate: he’s mostly using pee pads or going outside, with a few accidents here and there. He’s doing great with kennel training too, settling down nicely after a brief protest. Overall, Milo approaches everything with curiosity and enthusiasm. He would do best in a home ready for puppy energy, continued training, and lots of affection. He’s a very sweet boy who’s ready to grow up loved. Milo is a 4-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Milo is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). *We will not be hosting adoption events on Saturday, February 7 or 14. Instead, we are offering private adoption appointments to pre-approved applications February 2-15.* For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information about our organization, please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.
