Story
Nala's adoption fee has been generously sponsored by Northern Air Heating & Cooling! Meet Nala! This gentle girl is still learning that the world isn’t quite as intimidating as it sometimes seems. She can be timid in new situations, but with patience, consistency, and a little encouragement, her confidence is steadily beginning to grow. Nala is making great progress on leash walks and has even started offering playful invitations to the younger (and very playful) resident dog. She would benefit from having a confident canine companion in her new home—someone who can help show her the ropes and remind her that new experiences aren’t so scary. At home, Nala has some important skills already mastered. She is potty trained and genuinely enjoys the peace and quiet of her crate, giving her a comfortable place to relax and decompress. She is also gentle with older children, though a quieter home with kids ages 12+ would be the best fit for her. Nala isn’t looking for someone to rush her. She’s looking for a patient, steady family willing to give her clear expectations, positive experiences, and the time she needs to settle in. With the right support—and ideally a confident canine friend by her side—we think there’s a wonderfully sweet, playful dog waiting to show more and more of herself. Nala is a 4-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog is up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, dental, and spay. Nala is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772 or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Carmella is a beautiful, sensitive Border Collie searching for an experienced and compassionate person who will give her the time, structure and understanding she needs to shine. This brilliant girl has high energy, strong working-dog instincts and a genuine need for mental stimulation. She has even completed an official herding training program! Carmella would thrive with someone who wants an active, purpose-filled life with an incredibly intelligent companion. Bonus points if you’re interested in helping her continue to develop her herding skills.  Carmella can be fearful when meeting new people and needs slow, gentle introductions. She may not greet you with kisses on day one, but with patience and consistency, you can earn the trust and love of a deeply loyal dog. Her ideal home: Experienced, patient and committed to continuing her training Active and ready to keep her mind and body engaged No cats No children Slow introductions to other dogs Carmella urgently needs the right foster or forever home. Even if she isn’t the dog for you, sharing this post could help it reach the person she has been waiting for. Please share and visit pawsco.org to foster or adopt Carmella.October 16, 2026, 2:50 pm

ADOPTION FEE: $425 Meet Bryce! Part Aussie, part teddy bear, and 100% pure happiness. Named after Bryce from the Crescent City book series, this gorgeous 2 year old possible Aussie mix is bringing a whole lot of beauty, personality, and LOVE to the rescue world! And can we PLEASE talk about how this girl looks like an actual fluffy little bear?! Bryce is the definition of a HAPPY girl. She absolutely ADORES other dogs, big and small, and firmly believes that everyone with four legs is a potential best friend. Her favorite game in the entire world? CHASE! Give this girl a yard, a couple of doggy friends, and some room to run, and she's living her absolute best life! And unlike some friends who don't like sharing their belongings, Bryce is the ultimate team player! Toys? Happy to share. Treats? No problem. Food? There's enough love to go around! This sweet girl does wonderfully sharing with her canine companions and would be thrilled to join a home with another dog or even an entire doggy crew. But don't let her playful personality fool you. Bryce is also a professional bed tester, and she takes her job VERY seriously. You see, Bryce believes every dog bed deserves a thorough inspection. Softness? Check. Comfort? Check. Perfect napping position? Double check. Once she's finished running around with her friends, she's more than happy to settle down beside her favorite humans and enjoy some well-earned relaxation. And did we mention this girl has BRAINS, too?! Bryce is already crate trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and is doing great with potty training when she has a consistent routine. She's got the looks, the personality, AND the manners! Bryce is the perfect combination of playful adventure buddy and professional cuddle companion. She's the kind of dog who will happily spend the afternoon running around with her friends before coming inside to claim the comfiest bed in the house. We think Bryce would make an incredible addition to a family looking for a happy, social, affectionate girl who can bring a little extra joy into their everyday lives. Story
ADOPTION FEE: $550 Meet Jill! Looking for a plus one who will never cancel plans, always be excited to see you, and thinks you're the greatest person alive? Jill is an adorable little puppy who has one very important goal in life: to be everyone's best friend and accompany her people absolutely EVERYWHERE. And honestly? She's doing a pretty incredible job at it! This little lady is the ultimate shadow, the perfect sidekick, and quite possibly the best plus-one you could ever ask for. Brewery outings? She's in. Coffee dates? Absolutely. Hiking adventures? Sign her up. A lazy Sunday spent cuddling on the couch? Say less. Jill is just happy to be included! And the best part? Jill has the manners to back up her social calendar! This girl is incredibly well-behaved when she's out and about, making her a wonderful companion for just about any adventure. She also gets along beautifully with other dogs, cats, AND kids! Seriously, is there anyone this girl doesn't want to be friends with?! Jill is also doing an awesome job with potty training! Now, crate training is still a work in progress, but we think we understand her reasoning. You see, Jill has spent a great deal of time perfecting her public manners, and she simply cannot comprehend why anyone would leave such a well behaved little lady at home. In her mind, she's clearly qualified to attend every single outing, so why should she have to miss out?! Of course, she's still a puppy and learning that a little independence is important too. But with patience, consistency, and lots of love, we know she'll continue making wonderful progress. Jill isn't just looking for a forever home. She's looking for a forever best friend to share all of life's little moments with. From big adventures to quiet evenings at home, this sweet girl just wants to be right by your side. So, if your coffee dates could use a little more company, your hikes could use a four legged sidekick, and your couch has room for one very affectionate shadow, Jill is ready to be your new favorite plus one!
