Story
Meet Reggie!   Reggie is a lovable 10-year-old dog weighing in at 55 pounds, and he’s looking for his forever family! He adores being around his people and loves to please, making him a delight to have at home!     Personality:   Reggie is the perfect mix of playful and relaxed. Whether you want to go for a walk or hike or just spend the day lounging around, he’s up for it! His favorite trick is playing hide and seek for treats around the house, and he’s well trained, making him an excellent companion.     Home Life:   Reggie is great with people and has a part border collie heritage, which means he’s intelligent and eager to engage! However, he can see small children as “sheep” and may herd or nip at them when they get too excited, so he’d do best in a home with older kids or no kids at all. He doesn’t interact well with other dogs, so he’s looking for a family who can give him all the love and attention he deserves! If you’re ready for a loving companion who fits into either an active or laid-back lifestyle, Reggie could be your perfect match! July 8, 2025, 4:33 pm

Story
Lilo and Stitch are sweet, playful, 5 month old mixed breed puppies. Their father looked like a border collie/akita mix and their mother was a 35 lb, mixed breed dog. They were surrendered to us as an accidental litter, from Arizona. These guys had a very hard start to life, and have come a very long way during their time in foster. They were very, very shy when we first got them, and had not been socialized. Thanks to our foster team and about 2 months of time, they have now caught up on socialization and now love attention. They are working on potty training, and are quiet in their kennels. Lilo and Stitch will need families willing to introduce them to new things and continue working on socialization, since some things are still new to them. They love other dogs, and are good with cats. They are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Lilo and Stitch will be adopted out separately. Story
Indie loves to snuggle, take long sniffy walks, and play (but is still learning the retrieving part of fetch). She is food motivated, crate trained and eager to please. Indie is 48 lbs of goofy, sweet, friendly, occasionally anxious, and sometimes stubborn fluff who would love to meet you! She would do well in a home without young children as she can be excitable, but could love having another doggie friend in her life. She has been a gift to raise, but I am dealing with chronic health issues that have led me to be unable to provide Indie the consistent care that she deserves.

Story
Meet Poppy, a perfectly fun-sized, silly girl! Poppy was found as a stray in New Mexico and brought in to a local shelter there. She spent 2 months waiting patiently for a home, but none came. We took Poppy days before her time would have been up, and brought her to Colorado for another chance! Poppy does the cutest zoomies around the yard and enjoys toys, snacks, and sticks! She is great on leash and would enjoy a hiking buddy or someone who takes long walks. She really likes playing with boy dogs, and does well with female dogs in a controlled introduction (walking together on leash for example). She's quiet in her kennel, and is potty trained. She is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. If interested in adopting, please fill out the application at the following link: https://www.wildwestpetrescue.org/adopt

Story
Oscar is an almost 2 year old Border Collie mix. Sadly, Oscar spent the majority of his life in a large shelter. He went in when he was about 10 weeks old and stayed there until he was a year and a half, when we were able to get him out. Since then he's been in a foster home. He was very very nervous when he first came in, and wanted nothing to do with new people. He was very gentle however and would just cower or hide when nervous. Since being in foster, he has come a very long way. He walks very well on leash with his trusted people, and doesn't seem scared of car/traffic noises. He is still very shy of new people, but once warmed up he's very sweet and offers tail wags, and likes to be pet. He is kennel trained and likes to go into his kennel as a safe space, and is very food motivated. He is potty trained and will potty on leash. Oscar will need. very patient and quiet home, with the understanding that he will take time to warm up but then will be a very sweet guy. We also recommend he go to a home with other dogs, since he absolutely loves all other dogs and will need a confident dog to show him that things are ok! Oscar is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

All Aboard!!! Animal Rescue Passenger Splenda Waiting for a Forever Home! ADOPTION FEE: $450 Meet Splenda: This adorable girl is so sweet. She will require some extra patience as it is obvious she was not cared for very well in her previous life. She has made her way to Colorado for a better life and all the love. She has been fostered with dogs of all sizes and has done well! From Their Previous Shelter: Playgroup and snuggles - https://youtube.com/shorts/ClQ6Qab7f54?feature=share Playgroup - https://youtube.com/shorts/T3e_ge-apkU?feature=share Getting pets - https://youtube.com/shorts/gAfjWmS1xD0?feature=share Playgroup - https://youtube.com/shorts/9G40Yjc3Jdk?feature=share Zooming around with big and small dogs - https://youtube.com/shorts/lV5agbPcz5I?feature=share With big and small dogs - https://youtube.com/shorts/lii9pzaWTag?feature=share Sweet like her name, Splenda is a gentle and dainty 1-year-old Cattle Dog mix who’s just 31 pounds of pure love. She arrived as an unclaimed stray, and it’s clear she didn’t have much affection in her past — but she’s now learning what it truly means to be cared for and cherished in her foster home. She even sleeps quietly through the night and greets with gentle kisses now. Splenda is a true dog’s dog who feels most confident and happy around other pups, big or small. She’s incredibly gentle, submissive, and sweet, and would thrive in a home with another friendly dog (or two!) to show her the ropes and share her days. She absolutely loves the company of other dogs and blossoms with canine companionship. This lovely girl is potty trained, crate trained, and sleeps quietly through the night. She knows how to use a dog door and enjoys a good mix of exploring, lounging in the sunshine, and following her people around to see what they’re up to. Every day she gains more confidence and learns that love is safe and good. With her soft tail wags, sweet smile, and tender heart, Splenda is ready for a calm, loving forever home where patience and kindness will help her continue to bloom. She deserves cozy dog beds, gentle hands, and the warmth of true belonging — for the rest of her life. 🌸🐾 Interested in this furry companion? All Aboard!!! Animal Rescue Passenger Tinkerbell Waiting for a Forever Home! ADOPTION FEE: $550 Meet Tinkerbell: This adorable girl is ready for her forever home! From Tinkerbell’s foster, “i had such an amazing time getting to foster tinkerbelle. she’s such a love bug and loves to snuggle and play. when she’s playing she can be a bit hyper but it’s easy to give her a bone or toy to distract her and calm her down, plus she’s super fun to play with if you are looking for that! she likes to mouth a bit because of her breed but if you just give her a toy or bone she’ll get completely distracted. she also loves to bury her bones so be warned if she brings it outside you may never see it again lol🤣 but the cutest thing ever is when she tries to bury a bone in the couch- she seems so proud of herself and the bone almost every time is completely visible it’s hilarious. every time i come home she gets beyond excited to see me and spends an entire 10 minutes just circling me and wagging her tail before she even goes to the bathroom or grabs a toy it’s so cute. you can tell she loves attention and she loves to be loved. she is such a little cutie and i am praying every day that she finds a home that loves her the way she should be!!” Meet - https://youtube.com/shorts/0qkKZe0xxyI?feature=share Interested in this furry companion?
