Story
Buffy was born in Rescue. She is now 9 mos old and weighs 15#. Buffy plays well with cats, kittens and other dogs. She has never been around kids but a respectful child 10+ may be considered. Buffy is spayed, chipped, HW-, and utd on vaccs. Buffy is crate trained and potty trained but will need continued positive support in a new house with a new routine. Mom is a border terrier mix. Buffy requires a fenced yard because she is still fearful of the leash. She has worked through most of her issues and has come a long way with her positive reinforcement training for being fearful but will need a patient owner who will continue to help her build confidence. She will do best with a friendly canine companion in the home who she can learn from and seek guidance. If you're interested in meeting Buffy, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at  https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms  We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Buffy's adoption fee is $400 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.    May 23, 2025, 8:30 am

Story
Watch his video: (copy and paste into a new browser window) https://www.youtube.com/shorts/aeKj9ffGZXc Scruffy is a roughly 1 year old super sweet 25 lb guy who wants nothing more than to cuddle up to his human in bed. He loves other dogs and is great with cats. He does well in a crate and walks well on a leash. He was found as a stray in a rural town with a shelter that euthanizes dogs after 3 days no matter what so we rescued him. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tumwater, Tacoma, Tukwila, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) - New Jersey (Bedminster) - Nevada (Las Vegas) - Arizona (Flagstaff) Vetting: neutered, lifetime free microchip, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, heartworm tested (negative). Adoption fee: $550 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma and all vetting listed above) Adoption application (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 FAQs (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://docs.google.com/document/d/12eb_SRtk1AzaBl87UltcLJ24MjH9UhQm_LE77iWZEQA/edit?tab=t.0 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95
