Story
Neutered - Border Terrier mix - 4 mo - 22 lbs  This little guy is an absolute gem. He’s gentle, quiet, and very sweet in his manners, but also active and playful when it’s time to have fun. He loves to cuddle and be close to his people—he’ll happily explore around you and then circle right back to your side. He’s smart and curious, picks things up quickly, and is already showing how eager he is to please. He loves fetch, comes when called, and listens beautifully. He’s learned “sit” and now anticipates it so well that he sits the second he sees the treat bag He’s confident and easygoing—no fears so far and hasn’t met a stranger he doesn’t like. He gets along great with dogs of all sizes and has a calm, friendly presence. Crate life is no problem for him. He eats in his crate, sleeps through the entire night, kennels up when asked, and waits patiently until it’s time to come out… then bursts into joyful hops once he’s released. Best of all? He’s quiet and not a barker. We truly adore him. He’s such a good, happy little guy and will make an amazing companion for a very lucky adopter Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com/available-animals please note if you utilize an Iphone there are two scroll bars on the side of the screen to scroll down through available animals. Story
Tessa was rescued from a shelter in New Mexico. She is available to meet starting 2/14 Meet and greets are by appointment only.  An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time.  When we do, it will be updated here.  This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.  While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.   More questions?  Read our FAQs here: https://4p4l.org/faqs/  Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.  ##2651243##

Story
Sneakers is a gentle Cairn Terrier who can be a little timid in new situations, but with patience and a calm approach, her sweet personality truly shines. She’s looking for a loving home that will give her the time and reassurance she needs to feel safe, and once she does, she’ll reward you with quiet affection and loyalty. Sneakers would do best with older children who understand how to respect her space and move at her pace, making her a wonderful companion for a family ready to let trust grow naturally. What I Need In a Home:* Older children recommended
