Hi there, I'm Butterball. I am a 3 year old Border Terrier mix. I may be a bit shy at first (as prior to my arrival here I was skittish), but give me a moment and my sweet nature will shine through. I'm independent, so I don't mind if you're busy. I'll entertain myself with toys, sqeaker toys are my favorite! I'm quite smart you see. I can solve problems and figure out things faster than most of my fellow residents here. I may not be the first one to greet you, but I promise, once I warm up to you, I'll be your loyal companion. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans.
