Her favorite things include going for walks, exploring new places, sniffing absolutely everything, and investigating the world one smell at a time. If you’re an active family looking for an adventure buddy, Missy is already packing her bags. When she’s not out exploring, Missy loves playing with toys, snuggling with her people, and keeping a close eye on neighborhood activity from the nearest window. She’s basically a tiny neighborhood watch captain. And if squirrels dare enter her jurisdiction? Don’t worry—Missy will personally inform them who is in charge. Speaking of being in charge… Missy occasionally believes she may have been elected Mayor of the Household. She does best with people who can kindly remind her that while her opinions are appreciated, she is not actually responsible for running the family. Although a home with older/considerate kids will be best for Missy, she is wonderful with children and has done amazing with kids of all ages. She’s also great with cats and is dog-savvy enough to live happily with dogs of any size—or be your one-and-only pup. She’s potty trained, crate trained, and does well in homes with shared walls. If you’re looking for a dog who can keep up on adventures, make you laugh every day, snuggle up at night, and provide complimentary squirrel security services, Missy might just be your perfect match. Hi, my name is Conway and I am from Arkansas! This guy is going to be someone's heart & soul dog. The crazy/goofy fur, the sweet/silly personality. This is your guy! Fav qualities: * Cuddle bug- "Scuse me, I'm just gonna crawl/drape across you. This is a good spot, I'll stay here. Affection too?! Yes, please!" * Good eater- "Sharing is caring!" * Great with other dogs- "Ope. Hello there, *sniff sniff* nice to meet you. Want to hang out? I'll share my food." Work in progress: * Confidence- "Can I walk up to you... yes, I can, no, I can't, yes, wait.... yea! I can do it!" * House-training- "Pee and poop outside, great! Oh, back inside, I better pee on this & that. Ope! I've got the boy doggy diaper on again!" * Leash training- "Get it off!!! This thing is trying to get me!" * General obedience/commands- "I'm sorry, were you talking to me?" From the Vet: Conway was diagnosed with a soft/moderate heart murmur, but won't let that slow him down. We also performed cardiac radiographs and lucky Conway everything appeared normal size indicating his murmur could be due to mitral valve insufficiency related to dental disease. No sign of heart disease or failure at this stage. Because of his murmur we recommend close monitoring at annual vet visits as he ages. TBB will proceed with getting him his neuter and dental procedure in the coming weeks and while he is is recovering from dental may need soft food, but a fresh and clean mouth will mean a fresh and new lease on life for Conway and his forever family!
