Story
Hi, my name is Sophie, and everything about me and my personality fits my name. Im sweet, friendly and loving. Ive been a very good girl in the home, and Ive had four wonderful years of experience with a family. Ill tell you why Ive been surrendered in just a minute. First, all you want to know about little ole me! Ive got femme fatale good looks, and my level of intelligence matches my beauty. My previous owner said that Im completely house trained, and I also do well in a crate. I absolutely loved my fenced in back yard. I went in and out throughout the day, and I like to explore and take sunbaths whenever I can. I know sit, stay, outside and high five.

When I was at the shelter the first time, staff knew that I didnt like children very much. Kids just fill me with anxiety. Now that the baby in my home has turned into a toddler and is toddling around, Ive been very nervous and visibly upset. I dont like something that is as unpredictable as a child in my life. I want to be happy again, and Im counting on someone wonderful like you to find me and give me a chance at a new home. Maybe your kids are grown? Im really a wonderful girl, through and through. Cant you come and meet me? Id sure like to find love again.

Story
Hey there! I’m Lexi, your future canine comedian! I’m a 6-month-old Terrier mix, and my foster family has dubbed me the 'very good girl'—because clearly, they have impeccable taste! At a hefty 30 lbs of pure love, I’ve got enough cuddles to go around! I’ve been perfecting my doggy etiquette: I’m house-trained (no indoor accidents—unless you count my epic zoomies!), and my kennel? Spotless! I even know how to 'sit' on command, although I sometimes pause for dramatic effect—who doesn’t love a little suspense? I’m basically a leash-walking superstar, ready to hit the town and make new friends, whether they walk on two legs (kids, I’m looking at you!) or four (furry pals and the family cat who will definitely judge me!). When I’m not on my quest to become the ultimate bird-chasing ninja or honing my landscape architect skills (let’s just say I have a flair for digging!), you can find me on the hunt for my favorite bones and toys. I’ve got enough energy for a game of tug-of-war, but let’s be real—my ultimate happiness comes from snuggling right next to my favorite humans. Now, here’s the scoop: my adoption fee is $300, which covers my spay, microchip, vaccines, heartworm test, and keeps me up-to-date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. So, how about it? Want to adopt a lap dog that’s equal parts cuddly and hilarious? Your lap could be the lucky one!

Story
🐈 🐱 Cat-friendly 🐱 🐈 Lieutenant Underbite, reporting for duty! 🫡 🫡 Hello, I’m Jack Benny, at your service. I specialize in several things but principally in presenting my underbite for your appreciation at all times. 🪖 You’ll also enjoy my friendliness and positivity, which are especially noticeable when you get out the leash for walk time! I love the leash and the walks that go with it. I will accompany you at least once a day on your walk. While we stroll, I will inspect every important smell for you.👃 That must be my job, because my nose is so much closer to the ground than yours. I take this responsibility seriously, as you’ll see. Another duty I undertake is to greet all humans enthusiastically. I have determined that they instantly know that I am happy to meet them. They also seem glad to meet me, so I must be doing that properly. I know several basic commands too, in case they ask me to do a little extra duty – I also come when I’m called, so you can summon me at any time. You humans do a lot of things around the house, and you aren’t supervised as much as you probably should be. So, I’ll be your built-in supervisor, whether you are cooking, working or just walking from room to room. If we have any other 4-legged residents, I also get along great with them. I like other dogs, and I’m fine with cats too. I’ll try my best to keep those pesky squirrels far away from any of us. At night, I like to snuggle in bed with my people all night while we catch our zzzz’s. I know to take care of all my business outside like a good soldier. And I behave well in the house when you’re not home. If you’d like to enlist my services, apply to adopt me today. I’ll report for duty at a meet-and-greet once your application is approved. Jack Benny is heartworm-positive and is undergoing heartworm treatment at the rescue’s expense. He is neutered, microchipped and current on flea/tick preventative. His adoption fee is $225.
