My previous owners adopted me when I was just two months old. It was very difficult for them to give me up and for me to lose them since it was the only home Iandamp;#39;d ever known. But it is for the best. I said I was a bit shy&#44 and itandamp;#39;s true. I led a very sheltered life according to my owner&#44 so I need to learn about new situations and being comfortable in them. Iandamp;#39;m learning quite a lot here at Great Plains as I wait for you to find me.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I am both potty trained and kennel trained. I am also a good leash walker. I am super cuddly&#44 I enjoy being pet&#44 and Iandamp;#39;m always eager to give out my very special kisses. I know andamp;quot;sitandamp;quot;&#44 andamp;quot;downandamp;quot;&#44 and Iandamp;#39;m currently working on andamp;quot;roll overandamp;quot;&#44 so Iandamp;#39;m a smart one. I love taking showers - yes&#44 you read that right - a shower is the best thing since sliced bread. I love to play with toys like ropes and tennis balls and squeakies&#44 and I can entertain myself for hours. I am truly a very well behaved young girl. I even loved to have long andamp;quot;conversationsandamp;quot; with my human. Yes&#44 I might andamp;quot;mumble and grumbleandamp;quot; a little bit while conversing&#44 but I just know I am getting my message across. Usually Iandamp;#39;m asking for a toy or a treat. Wanna listen to me? Maybe you could film me andamp;quot;talkingandamp;quot;&#44 and we could go viral!andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I also masquerade as a andamp;quot;lap dogandamp;quot; - even though Iandamp;#39;m a bit bigger than most lap dogs lol. I am a super fan of spending time with other dogs&#44 especially when we can run around and have fun together. I am great at giving off a play bow or two to get the game going. Iandamp;#39;m bouncy and very playful. One of my favorite activities is splashing around in the doggy pools outside-itandamp;#39;s the best way to cool off and have a blast! Oh&#44 and I should mention I love a good ZOOMIE every now and again. andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Great Plains thinks Iandamp;#39;d do best in a home with older kids who can keep up with my playful energy and give me the love and attention I so desperately want. Are you looking for a dog companion that is the andamp;quot;bestestandamp;quot; cuddler? One that is warm&#44 soft&#44 gentle&#44 extra cuddly? STOP! Look no further - that is ME you are looking for. Seriously&#44 foster mom (FM) and foster dad (FD) rave about my cuddling skills.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I know andamp;quot;sitandamp;quot; and learned some cool skills when I attended school at Pups for Paroles. I sit and wait while getting leashed up&#44 going out a door. They taught me to sit and wait for my breakfast and dinner until my handler tells me I can eat! My FM didnandamp;#39;t even pick up what I was doing when I first came to her home because she didnandamp;#39;t know I had learned the skills. Then&#44 it hit her why I was sitting and waiting so now she has me do it all the time.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I am house trained and LOVE my kennel. I ONLY get chewies when I am kenneled. I learned that quickly. I LOVE chewies so I go in my kennel hoping FM andamp; FD are leaving and going to kennel me. But&#44 shoot&#44 they arenandamp;#39;t&#44 and FM ignores me. Big disappointment. FM has a camera on me when Iandamp;#39;m in the kennel and Iandamp;#39;m always being a good boy (even when Iandamp;#39;m done with my chewy). andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I love TOYS too&#44 but my favorite part of any day is when I cuddle with a person while they are on the couch. Oh&#44 this is another great thing about me. Iandamp;#39;m ONLY allowed on one couch. The other furniture is off limits. It did take me some weeks to realize that. I would jump on the forbidden furniture when someone sat down&#44 and I would hear OFF. I got off immediately but will admit the first few weeks&#44 I kept on trying. Can you blame me? But I gave up and only jump on the one couch and the bed!!! Ohhhhh&#44 I have the most peaceful nights sleeping&#44 all cuddled up but guess what? I would jump on the bed immediately when I knew FM and FD were getting ready for bed. Then&#44 I figured out I had to wait until I was told I could get on the bed. So&#44 now I sit on the floor by the bed. They get all situated and then it is my turn to get inandlt;br/andgt;bed. I donandamp;#39;t get in bed during the daytime. No one is there to cuddle so I slumber on my dog bed. andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I get along with dogs but not cats or small furry creatures. They remind me of squirrels and squirrels bug me. I am fine being an only dog too. Huckleberry is house trained and crate trained, and up to date on Heartworm and vaccinations. Huck needs to be the only dog in the home.
