She may be a little slower to trust at first, but once she feels safe, her true self shines through—sweet, calm, and deeply affectionate. She isn’t shut down; she’s just learning how to feel secure again after losing the only home she’s ever known. Because of her sensitive nature, Millie would do best in a quiet, patient home with a steady routine and people who will let her move at her own pace. Millie is a good dog who loved deeply and is capable of loving again—with time. He’s sweet, affectionate, and delightfully goofy in a way that makes you laugh without even trying. One important note: Fonzie’s hair grows fast, and when it does, he genuinely can’t see where he’s going — which adds to his charm but means he’ll need regular grooming to keep those peepers clear and his confidence high. He’ll do best with a patient adopter who understands that some dogs need a moment to adjust and who’s committed to keeping up with grooming (Fonzie would like you to know that “hair in eyes” is not his best look).
