Story
Meet Roxy! Say hello to Roxy, a 7-month-old Boston Terrier mix with a big personality packed into her little 10-pound frame! This sweet brindle girl is full of puppy energy, playful antics, and so much love to give. Roxy is the kind of puppy who is always ready for fun! She loves to run, play, and explore, but she also knows when it’s time to slow down. After a day of adventures, she’s happy to settle in for some couch cuddles and enjoy time with her people. She has that wonderful balance of being a fun-loving, energetic puppy and a sweet little companion who enjoys relaxing with her favorite humans. Roxy has been living with children ranging from 5 months to 10 years old, as well as a 4-year-old male dog and a 3-year-old female cat. Her family reports that she has gotten along well with everyone! She is also housetrained, crate-trained, and has no reported separation anxiety. She is not known to be a barker and does well around other dogs and people on leash. Roxy’s current family loves her dearly, but her puppy energy is a little too much for apartment living, and their lease prevents them from providing the space she needs right now. They would love to keep her if their circumstances were different, so they are hoping to find her a home where she can continue growing into the amazing dog she is meant to be. Roxy would love an active family who can keep her busy with playtime, walks, and plenty of opportunities to burn off that puppy energy. A yard to zoom around in would be a dream come true, but most of all, she needs a family who will love her, include her in their adventures, and save plenty of room on the couch for cuddles. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, playful little companion who will keep you smiling and then curl up beside you when the day is done, Roxy might just be your girl!   ##2853312##

Story
I love Cowbell with all my heart but she does not get along with my other female and she has pika. She was starved and abused before she came to us. She will eat and swallow anything she can get down her throat. She needs toys that she can't swallow. She recently had surgery after swallowing a sock and shop rag. No female dogs. She gets along with males and cats. I've never observed her around kids so I'm not sure how she would react. She must be fed separate from others. She is currently indoors not react well to dry dog food. She loves affection and cuddling. She is very sweet and would be ideal for a couple or singles with no pets or kids.

Story
Little Johnny is a 10lb unique, adorable mutt.  We are guessing he is Dachshund/Chihuahua/Cattle Dog/Boston Terrier/Pug mix?  He has an adorably long body with short little legs and a squished little face.  We hope his forever family does a breed test on him because he is so cool! Johnny was dumped in a parking lot in Texas.  He was so confused and terrified the first week, that the person who found him said he wouldn't eat and was completely shut down.  We can't imagine what was going through his little mind.  He made his way to CO to prevent him from ending up in a shelter.  He has settled in here and is doing very well in his foster home.  Johnny's foster has fostered almost 100 dogs for us, and said he is the sweetest, most loving, and affectionate dog she has ever had.  Just like when he was dumped, he was terrified at first, but attached to his foster Momma pretty quickly.  He is definately a dog who bonds quickly and needs someone who can reciprocate the immense amount of unconditional love he has to give.  He gets along great with other dogs but doesn't seem interested in playing with them, yet(?).  He gets along amazingly well with cats and loves cats.  He would do great in a home with another cat as his best friend.  He also loves to play with cats.  Johnny gets along well with kiddos but since he is a nervous little guy we think older kiddos would make him most comfortable.  Johnny is just truly an amazing, affectionate, loving little guy, just looking for stability and security. Story
** If you are interested in adopting Milo, please fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ ** Milo is a 1 year old, 14 pound Pug / Boston Terrier mix who is a DOLL! Milo is so happy, friendly, and just has a great personality! Milo was picked up as a stray and brought into a small shelter in rural Texas, where he quickly made a LOT of friends! The staff loved him so much that they knew he had to get out of that shelter! We got a call and were of course so happy to help Milo! Milo is very sweet and friendly. He really enjoys other dogs and would love a dog buddy in his forever home, but we think he would be okay as an only dog as well. We'd like to place Milo in a home where he'll get consistent stimulation, exercise and love. A (virtual or in-person) positive reinforcement training class promotes great behavior, bonding and confidence. Training is so important in the future behaviors of every dog. It's for this reason that we're unwilling to adopt to a family that doesn't make this loving choice. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of both in-person and virtual positive reinforcement / force- free trainers in your area. Milo is up to date on his vaccinations, has been fully vetted, is healthy, heartworm negative, and is neutered. Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial. Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out 400 dogs each year. Applications are currently being accepted for our wonderful pup. If interested in this gorgeous, very cuddly/sweet and loving best friend, please fill out an application completely at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ and submit. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in many cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.

These pups are in Centennial, Colorado too!

Story
Meet Thelma: Tiny Potato. Turbo Mode Included. If you think Bulldogs come in two speeds, OFF and SLOW, Thelma would like a word. At just 27 pounds, this brindle-and-white little bulldog is compact enough to fit almost anywhere... and energetic enough to somehow be everywhere at once. Since having surgery to restore her vision, she's discovered that the world is one giant amusement park, and she's determined to experience every square inch of it. Need help unloading the dishwasher? Thelma is already supervising. Pulling weeds? She has probably stolen one. Opening the front door? Excellent! She was hoping to personally greet whatever is on the other side. She is curious, hilarious, affectionate, and just the right amount of chaos. When her famous bulldog zoomies kick in, she transforms into what can only be described as a potato with afterburners. She loves squeaky toys, puzzle games, snuffle mats, and anything that keeps her busy. She also believes Amazon boxes deserve a second life... preferably under her supervision. When the fun is over, Thelma becomes an Olympic-level cuddler. She loves sleeping pressed against her people and fully expects you to pay the mandatory Bully Butt Tax by allowing her to snuggle as close as physically possible. Thelma gets along beautifully with other dogs of all sizes and especially enjoys having canine friends to wrestle, play, and nap with. She's doing well with potty training, uses a dog door, is highly food motivated, and continues learning her puppy manners through positive reinforcement. Thelma and her sister were rescued after being abandoned in an Oklahoma field. Before arriving in rescue, she likely spent much of her young life confined and was suffering from severe bilateral cherry eye that limited her vision. Today, after surgery and lots of love, she's making up for lost time by embracing every adventure life has to offer. If you're looking for a dog who's equal parts comedian, cuddle bug, adventure buddy, and tiny household supervisor, Thelma may just be your perfect match. Apply can ONLY be submitted on our website at www.pawsitiverestorations.com. She has a whole lot of living left to do, and she'd love to do it with you.
