Supreme is a Beautiful 4 year old Purebred Boston Terrier. Lovely active dog, enjoys running freely, body rubs, play time and company. My husband and I have a new baby and work 40+ a week, therefore we’re hoping to find a new home for Preme, because we are no longer able to give our him the proper time, love and affection he deserves. We feel bad, so we figure it would be good to have him rehomed with a new family that can give him those things. He’ll be great company.

• Rescue Story: Meet Moana👋🏻 She was found wandering the streets of Paju, South Korea in 2022. She ended up at a high-kill shelter but was thankfully rescued just in time. Since then, she’s been living in a private shelter with many other dogs, charming everyone with her affectionate personality. Now, she’s ready to find a forever family of her own! • Personality: Affectionate, Friendly, Goofy Moana is truly one of a kind. She quickly won the hearts of volunteers with her gentle, loving nature. She follows people around like a little shadow, happily greeting everyone—even strangers—with tail wags and affection. Moana thrives on human interaction and loves tug-of-war, belly rubs, and being the center of attention. Her energy level is moderate, making her a great balance of playful and calm. • Affinity with - Dogs: Moana is incredibly social—not just with people, but with dogs, too. She’s often the first to welcome new arrivals at the shelter, helping them feel safe and at ease. While she would thrive as the only dog in the home, Moana also does best with calm dog companions. - Cats: Not tested with cats - Adults/Kids: Great with adults / She hasn’t been tested with cats or kids, but based on her gentle demeanor, we believe she’d do well with respectful children. • Walking Manners: Moana has also started practicing her leash skills and is doing great! She may pull a little at times, but overall, she walks well and is eager to please. • Housetrained: As she’s lived in a shelter, Moana will need some house-training in a home setting. • Bathing/Brushing: She’s tolerant of baths and grooming. • Car Sickness: She’s curious and alert during car rides, taking in the world around her. • Separation Anxiety: Zero. • Barks/Howls: Very quiet • Appetite/Food Allergies: Eats well. No food allergies found so far. • Shedding level (1~10): 5 • Likes/Dislikes: She loves affection & treats! • Health: Moana finished her heartworm treatment in Oct 2024 and is in great health. She underwent successful surgery for an inguinal hernia in Mar 2025 and has fully recovered. She has a clean bill of health and is ready for her new adventure! Lily was surrendered to NorthStar when her owner became ill and could no longer care for her dogs. Although she is almost 9 years old, Lily is in good health, energetic and house-trained. She is a good listener who loves long walks and car rides. She is currently up to date on her shots, but is due for several vaccines in May - we'll ensure she receives those. Lily has lived with another dog (Lucy Nason, also available for adoption) and is currently in temporary foster with a Lab and Golden Retriever. On walks she may bark at other dogs out of curiosity - she's not aggressive, just loud. Lily is crate trained and enjoys spending time in her individual crate even when given free roam of the house. Overall, she is a very sweet senior girl just looking for a new place to hang her leash! Meet Dixi — A Gentle Survivor Looking for Her Safe Place Dixi’s story started in hardship. She was rescued from a situation in Texas along with her two tiny pups. Sadly, one didn’t survive, but Dixi poured every ounce of love she had into caring for her remaining baby, Paul. She proved herself to be a devoted, protective, and deeply loving mama — and now it’s finally her turn to be cared for. We believe Dixi is about 3 years old and likely endured multiple litters before rescue. Despite everything she’s been through, she is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loyal. She loves gentle pets, gives soft kisses, and bonds deeply with “her people.” She has done beautifully living with dogs of all sizes and truly needs another confident dog (or dogs) in the home to help her feel safe and secure. Dixi was recently adopted, and while her adopters cared for her and tried their best, their busy, active household proved overwhelming for her sensitive nature. Dixi is a fearful girl who thrives in calm environments. When she feels anxious or unsure, she may have accidents indoors — not because she isn’t housetrained (she is!), but because fear can take over. In her quiet foster home, she did not have these issues.
