Hi!  My name is Molly and I am looking for a forever home.  I was surrendered to a small rescue after my previous owners didn't want to keep me in the house, didn't have a fenced yard for me to stay safe in and lived near a busy street.  Fortunately, a neighbor saw how they treated me and was able to talk them in to giving me to the rescue.  A volunteer with that rescue then contacted BCAA to see if they could help me and they said yes!  I appear to be a small pug mix and the vet thinks I'm around 10mos to a year old and I only weigh a little under 11lbs and shouldn't get too much bigger.  I am shy when I first meet new people but my foster parents have been really nice to me and I have learned I can trust them; now I love getting attention and take treats gently from them.  I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met and haven't bothered those things called cats.  I have shared my crate with my friend Maggie who is just a little bigger than me without any issues and we love to wrestle and play; we also eat side by side without a problem as we both love our food and finish about the same time.  I've done well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding but would really prefer to be out with you.  I'm still learning the leash-thing but with some time and practice I should get it down, especially since it means I get to be with my person.  If you would like to learn more about me or meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org. Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! She’ll even “talk” back when spoken to! She isn’t typically a barker but will alert you when something unusual catches her attention.Haizyl is house-trained and enjoys spending time outdoors. After a walk or play session, she’s happy to curl up for a nap. She does well with baths, though she may try to escape, and her recurring ear infections require regular cleaning and care.Haizyl has lived with cats and other dogs, but she may need careful introductions with other dogs. Rose is estimated to be about 5 years old, and she is truly one of the sweetest girls you could ever meet. She is the kind of dog who simply wants to love and be loved—a devoted people dog whose happiest moments are spent close to her person, soaking up affection and giving it right back.  Rose’s life changed in an instant when her owner passed away, leaving behind seven dogs. While family and friends were able to take in four of them, Rose and two others came into our rescue. After losing the person she knew and loved, Rose is looking for a home where she can feel safe, cherished, and part of a family again.  Rose would do best in a home where someone is around more often, because being with her people is truly what she loves most. A fenced yard is also required for her.  She is current on core vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. Born on 12/21/25, Viana and her siblings came to us as an unwanted litter. With parents who were both small, we expect her to stay on the smaller side too…perfect for snuggles! She can be shy at first meetings, and a little skittish around small children so we recommend a home with older children or adults. She is really lovable and affectionate once she gets to know you. Viana can be dog selective so we feel she would be living her best life as an only dog.   She's doing great with house training.
