Story
Pebbles is a 6 1/2 tiny powerhouse wrapped in a black and white tux, a little love comet who does everything with her whole heart. She loves fiercely, plays with gusto, and carries herself like she is training for the Ball Catching Olympics. Truly, you could toss a ball into another galaxy and she would still find a way to snag it. Her talent is legendary and honestly pretty adorable. Once you are her person, Pebbles melts right into your lap and showers you with her signature enthusiastic kisses. She currently lives with foster brothers, but she is more of a polite roommate than a play buddy. Her real joys are exploring the yard, sniffing the breeze, and stretching out like a tiny sun worshipper. Pebbles is crate trained, housebroken, and wonderfully devoted. She prefers a home without little kids, and if there is another dog, they will need to be the right fit for her sparkling and specific personality. Pebbles is ready to be someone’s best friend, the kind who brings light, laughter, and world class athletic moves. If interested, please apply at pittiesandpals.com. Many other dogs need our help, please consider donating or sponsoring a dog, if possible. 100% of all money received from adoption fees and donations goes directly back to support saving other dogs through Pitties and Pals Rescue. Story
Anise was found as a stray and brought to the Associated Humane Society of Newark. She struggled in the shelter environment, clearly having lived in a home. Despite the stress, she bonded to the staff of the shelter and welcomed love and attention. She is estimated to be about 9 years old and is 16 pounds. She is very active and exciteable, so this senior lady still have many many happy years ahead of her should the right family give her space to flourish! We believe little Anise probably had puppies at one point, but is now spayed and recovering well. Anise walks very excitedly on the leash, and wants to meet most people who pass her by. She loves to cuddle with you, and like a typical terrier likes to dig and snuffle in your lap or on the couch. She could go home with a compatible pup. But no kitties, birds, or small mammals for this little lady. She absolutely loves to chase birds and watch them do their bird things. She would love to walk with you, or even run if you're up for it! She is completely housebroken and doesn't mind her crate. Anise has an adorable underbite! Anise is a sweet girl looking for a second chance at life with a family who will cherish her and understand her terrier-ness! Anise is currently in a foster home in Atlantic Highlands, NJ. We are hoping for a Christmas Miracle- so she can spend this holiday season with a furever family... Could that be you? We are open to fostering-to-adopt, and happy to set up meet and greets with those who apply!

Story
Hi, I’m Bonnie ??I’m a 3-year-old Boston Terrier from Arkansas, and my life is finally heading in a new direction. I came from a breeding situation where I wasn’t treated like a pet — just a job. When I had a disagreement with a very tiny dog there, a decision was made that I was no longer wanted. That turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to me.Since coming into rescue, I’ve been great with the dogs I’ve met, and everyone agrees that whatever happened before doesn’t define who I am. What does define me is that I’m sweet, affectionate, and ready to live a life that’s about love — not breeding.I’m officially done with that chapter and looking for a forever home where I’ll be treated like family. A couch to curl up on, people who adore me, and a home where I’m valued just for being me.If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s ready to be spoiled and cherished the way she always should have been… I think I’d make a pretty perfect Bonnie ???Bonnie is spayed, dewormed, microchipped and is up to date with vaccines. Her adoption fee is $650.00, plus $8.50 for the dog license if you are a resident of NYC. Bonnie will also get one free exam with one of our participating veterinarians within 30 days of her adoption. If you`d like to meet Bonnie please visit, we`re conveniently located in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn near the F train (Ft Hamilton Pkwy) and the B16 bus and we`re open daily for adoptions from 11am to 5:30pmBonnie can`t wait to meet you!Sean Casey Animal Rescue153 E. 3 St.between Ft Hamilton Pkwy & Caton AveBrooklyn, NY 11218adoptions @nyanimalrescue.orgNYS Department of Agriculture and Markets Registration No. RR160

Story
To say I’m mildly obsessed with this petite, feisty full of sass in my pants girl, well, is accurate🙃 She’s a typical small dog who is Deaf but has a large personality. And like most typical smalls, she wants it her way when she wants it, and won’t hear of it any other way. Pixie is one of those dogs who has to make the first move. She will allow petting, kisses, being picked up when she’s ready and she will let you know when that time is. she can be protective of you also She weighs maybe 19 lbs full grown , is selective with other dogs and has the best time when she’s lounging on the couch or her little doggie bed. She’s available for adoption for dog owners who have first-hand experience with behaviors like hers. Once your in though, you’re IN! Spayed and updated with all her shots Please fill out the application on this link https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/POSH/Dog
