Story
Kendra is one of five puppies born to Josie.  She and her siblings have been in foster care since birth and are highly social. Kendra and her brother Kyle have a more wirey hair look to them that they get from Mom it appears, while the other 3 look more pug mix.  Mom is only about 10 pounds.  She's been around other dogs and got along great (no cat experience).  Kendra up to date on core vaccines (Rabies, DAPP, Bordatella).  Kendra has been spayed and is about 8 months old as of the end of December.  She's been at numerous events and did well with adults and children. Kendra is an active little girl, and loves having a fenced yard, so a fenced yard is a requirement for her.  She can be a digger and should never be left alone outside.   Interested in adopting me?  To fill out an application visit 3 Hearts 4 Paws.  Please note: we do not adopt out of state.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 2, 2026, 9:23 am

Story
Meet Aretha! I’m a very sweet 6-year-old Puggle/Chihuahua gal with a beautiful face that puts a smile on your face , and I have soft black-and-tan coat. At just 18 pounds, I’m the perfect size—small enough to snuggle but cute enough to strut with style! I’m thriving in a loving foster home and enjoy spending time with my foster siblings, but I’d be just as happy as your one-and-only, soaking up all your attention. I walk nicely on a leash and love going out in the city to say hello to everyone I meet. I’ve been fully vetted, spayed, and am up to date on all my vaccinations. All I need now is a forever home where I can keep blossoming and share all the love I have to give. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle companion who’s ready to love and be loved, I might just be your girl. Apply to adopt me here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/POSH/Dog

Story
Meet Queso! Questo is a playful 3-month-old puppy weighing 8 pounds. Like all pups his age, he’s curious, friendly, and full of joy! He was rescued with his mom and siblings from an over crowded house. His mom is Brie and she weighs about 10 lbs. She tested negative for Chagas. He's safe now and ready for a forever home! .

Queso loves to explore, play with toys, and snuggle in your arms. In true terrier fashion, he’s clever and eager to learn. He’d thrive in a home where he gets plenty of playtime, attention, and love. This puppy is under 16 weeks of age as of 1/6/2025. He is too young for Heartworm or Chagas testing. Because this puppy is from the state of Texas…an area endemic for Chagas disease…we strongly recommend that they be tested once they reach at least 16 weeks of age. Please familiarize yourself with Chagas disease and the importance of early detection. If you’d like to make this sweet dog part of your family, please review our adoption process and complete an application here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt

Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip

Story
Meet our super sweet and gentle 5-year-old pug girl. She’s shy and still learning the world, but gaining confidence and trust in humans every day. She’s a bit weary of the busy NYC streets and not yet fully leash-trained, so for now she feels safest inside. House training is a work in progress—she has occasional accidents and hasn’t mastered potty pads—but she’s tidy and never destructive! She is friendly with other dogs, and would likely do well in a home with another dog who can teach her the go around. She relaxes best in her crate (dim lights + soft music = bliss), and once she feels safe there, she’ll happily accept gentle pets. She eats and drinks well, sleeps through the night, and her curiosity about toys shows a playful spark. She needs a calm, patient home that celebrates small wins. If you love helping dogs blossom, she’ll be your little soulmate and she loves some cheese! 3 Keywords for your pup: Sweet, shy, curious!Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 6Barker?
