Where are my bulldog lovers!? Or do you have a friend that loves them? Let me introduce you to Thanos! He is a beautiful merle male, who was sold as a "Frenchton," but who is a healthy 40 pounds and much more like an English Bulldog. He was surrendered with a bad ear infection, and he has been through all his treatments and is healed now, but not sure if his ear is going to learn to stand back up.  He is four years old, healthy, and a lover who wants only to be on your lap at all times! Thanos is fine with all of my dogs (10 others!), but he is not particularly interested in playing with them. He, more so, acknowledges and ignores them. I wish he could teach me that skillset!   All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. Rio was a rescue, found at about 4 months old, alone. Soon after, she broke her hind leg after jumping on a tile floor, fixed with surgery. Due to this timeline, we missed a critical opportunity to train her well. She is very sweet and friendly, knows basic commands. She does have poor recall, so she has to be leashed at all times when outside. Despite her injury, she is really fast and loves playing with other dogs. However, she definitely needs to be in a home with another dog to use up the energy. We used to have a large fenced in yard where she was really happy.

Hi there, I'm Vernon! I am a super snuggly sweetheart. I have the the softest, rabbit-like fur you’ll ever touch. I'm a bulldog mix with the cutest underbite, really, I'm a total cuddlebug and love nothing more than curling up close for a nap—or playing joyfully with other dogs. Before rescue, I was surviving as a stray on the streets for months, too scared to trust despite many kindhearted attempts. When I finally decided it was okay to trust and taken in, I had some serious wounds from life outside — I got some TLC, antibiotics, and love. But that is all behind me now and my foster says I've healed beautifully, both inside and out. I have been told that I can have a very serious look but I am gentle, affectionate, and ready to bond deeply with a forever family. While I haven't met cats yet, I am at my best and confident when I am with other dogs and would thrive in a home with canine companions or loving humans who adore snuggles. Now that my rough days are behind me, I'm ready for a soft bed, full belly, and lots of love—maybe with you? Location: Centerville, OH Food: Royal Canin GI multifunction Hydrolyzed Medication: NexGard Plus Harvey is a three year, 9 month old bully who is pretty laid back and loves everyone. He is a touch underweight and could use a couple extra snackos until he puts on a few pounds. We have been feeding him just a bit extra each meal to slowly get him where he needs to be. Harvey loves a good walk and does really well with almost no pulling at all. He gets along with all the dogs in our house and even ignores our house rabbit. He is a super happy guy. In fact, he is so happy that he has missing hair on his tail from wagging it so hard against the bars of his crate. He is crate trained and potty trained with his only accidents the first couple days here (different environment and schedule so to be expected). He would be good as a single dog or with a dog sibling or two. Due to his size and energy I’d recommend older children who are not easily knocked over by a bigger dog. He really is a happy go lucky guy who wants to be by your side and see what you are doing at all times.
