Story
Lana is a purebred Boston Terrier and an absolute sweetheart. She originally came to me from my daughter, who loved her but became too busy to give her the time she deserved with other pets in the home. I took Lana in hoping I could make it work, but my household situation is changing and I work full time, so I cannot give her the attention, playtime, and daily activity she really needs. Lana is super sweet, very smart, playful, affectionate, and eager to be with her person. She would do best in a home where someone has time to spend with her, take her outside regularly, play with her, and help her feel loved and secure. A home with a backyard would be wonderful for her. This is a hard decision, but I want Lana to have a better life with someone who can give her the time and attention she deserves.

Story
Hi, I’m Petey. I’m a 10‑year‑old Boston boy weighing 35 pounds, with a big heart and an even bigger love for being close to my person. I’m what they call a certified love bug—I follow my foster around the house because being near my human makes me feel safe and happy. Snuggles are my specialty. I’m a quiet guy and never bark. I don’t play much with the other dogs, but I’m starting to get curious about toys… I’m still figuring out what all the fuss is about. I’m a perfect gentleman, still learning the ropes, and I try my very best every day. I’m trained on the potty pad, and I’m great on a leash. I enjoy going on walks and I’m amazing on them—steady, calm, and happy to trot right beside you. I’m good with kids, cats, and dogs, and I’d be a wonderful companion for a senior or anyone who wants a gentle, low‑energy buddy. I love peanut butter and bacon‑flavored treats, cozy naps, and being close enough to feel your warmth. What I’d really love is a home where life is a mix of chill and a little bit of adventure… and where someone wants snuggles all day long. If you’re looking for a sweet, quiet, loyal friend who will adore you with his whole heart, I’m your guy. My adoption fee is $100, but if you are a senior yourself (65+) my adoption fee is waived.   We are always looking for good foster homes. Story
Hello there. My name is Murphy, and I am a 15-year-old lil boy who weighs 22 pounds. I am so lucky this wonderful rescue came and saved me; I did not grow up in a very nice environment. I am a particular little guy; I like to do things on my own terms. I do not like to be forced to do things which makes me upset and nip. I also do not like to share toys or food. I want to be the leader, so I need to be the only dog in the house. I am still learning how to be a dog and still working on my house training and my manners. I do have some hearing loss and need kidney care food because of my age. I absolutely love to be outside and play with stuffies. My ideal home would a person who can teach me manners and who is willing to help me be a better guy. My adoption fee is $100, but if you are a senior yourself (65+), my adoption fee is waived. Must be an only dog. No children. Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts! NOTE:  Hospice fosters have ongoing medical needs that will require care for the rest of their lives. While they remain available for adoption, we carefully screen potential homes to ensure their medical and special needs can be fully supported. BTRNT is committed to providing these dogs with a loving forever home—whether that is through adoption or as a permanent hospice foster within our rescue. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Story
Hi, I’m Leila — your soft, squishy, gentle Boston girl. I’m 4½ years old, about 25 pounds, and I’ve been told I’m the definition of a pushover. Honestly… it’s true. I’m gentle to my core. I let the other dogs go first, I don’t make a fuss, and I just want everyone to feel safe and happy around me. I have a little independent streak — I like to explore and do my own thing — but I also love being close to my humans. I’m the kind of girl who quietly settles near you, just happy to be part of the moment. I’m still learning the ropes, so I’ll need a patient family who can help me with training. I'm still working on my housetraining but my foster mom says I'm making great progress. I behave a bit like a puppy sometimes, in the sweetest way. I get along well with other dogs.  Car rides… well… I don’t love them. I’m working on it, but I’d rather keep my paws on solid ground. What I dream of most is a gentle, loving family who sees my soft heart and wants to help me blossom. If you’re looking for a tender, easygoing girl who just wants to be loved on, I might be your perfect match. My adoption fee is $400.  Best with older considerate children. Hi there!  My name is Mickey, I’m about 6 years old and weigh 22 pounds.  I’m a smart, charming guy, and very focused!  My foster mom says I am very athletic and have a ton of personality, and so handsome… that makes my blush!  At this time my trainer feels it would be best for me to be an only dog.   I’m crate trained and leash trained.  I need a home without children, older teens may be okay. Must have a home with fenced yard, no apartment.  I am looking for an active owner or couple who will want to do lots of things with me but is also very patient and will continue my training.  My adoption fee is $150. NO YOUNG CHILDREN.  NO OTHER PETS. MUST HAVE FENCED YARD. MUST AGREE TO ATTEND SEVERAL TRAINING SESSIONS WITH HAPPY VIRTUALLY AND AT A FACILITY IN PRINCETON, TX.  We are always looking for good foster homes.
