Story
Hi, I’m Petey. I’m a 10‑year‑old Boston boy weighing 35 pounds, with a big heart and an even bigger love for being close to my person. I’m what they call a certified love bug—I follow my foster around the house because being near my human makes me feel safe and happy. Snuggles are my specialty. I’m a quiet guy and never bark. I don’t play much with the other dogs, but I’m starting to get curious about toys… I’m still figuring out what all the fuss is about. I’m a perfect gentleman, still learning the ropes, and I try my very best every day. I’m trained on the potty pad, and I’m great on a leash. I enjoy going on walks and I’m amazing on them—steady, calm, and happy to trot right beside you. I’m good with kids, cats, and dogs, and I’d be a wonderful companion for a senior or anyone who wants a gentle, low‑energy buddy. I love peanut butter and bacon‑flavored treats, cozy naps, and being close enough to feel your warmth. What I’d really love is a home where life is a mix of chill and a little bit of adventure… and where someone wants snuggles all day long. If you’re looking for a sweet, quiet, loyal friend who will adore you with his whole heart, I’m your guy. My adoption fee is $100, but if you are a senior yourself (65+) my adoption fee is waived.   We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Story
Hi, I’m Frankie — yes, that Frankie, named after Frank Sinatra himself. I’ve got the blue eyes, the good looks, and the quiet confidence to back it up. I’m 7 years old, 17 pounds, and honestly? A total knockout. If there were a “Most Handsome Boston Terrier” award, I’d already have it on my shelf. I’m hearing‑disabled, which means I live in my own peaceful little bubble. I’m usually a very quiet gentleman… unless I need to go outside. Then I warm up the vocal cords and give you a tiny serenade. Think of it as my “Let Me Out” single, soon to top the charts. I adore being near my humans. I’ll follow you around like your classy little shadow, supervising your activities with my movie‑star gaze. Cuddling? Eh. I’m not opposed, but I’m not exactly a snuggle bug. Maybe I just haven’t met the right cuddle coach yet. Toys? Listen… I’m trying. I look at them, sniff them, maybe poke them once, and then I’m like, “Hmm. Mysterious.” But I’m open to learning if you’re open to teaching. I’m crate trained, leash trained, and I get along great with dogs and people. I’m a low‑energy guy who’s perfectly happy in an apartment, I don’t need a big yard, just a comfy spot to lounge and admire you. Because of my hearing impairment, I’d do best with older, gentle kids who understand my quiet world. So… do you have a cozy corner for a gorgeous blue‑eyed crooner to hang out, look adorable, and occasionally sing you a little tune? Because I think we’d make a pretty great duet. My adoption fee is $300. FRANKIE IS HEARING IMPAIRED. We are always looking for good foster homes. Story
Hi, I’m Oreo — a 4½â€‘year‑old, 17-pound Boston girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for being close to my humans. If you’re on the couch, I’m right beside you. If you’re in bed, I’m curled up next to you. I’m happiest when I’m near my people. I’m super sweet and I play wonderfully with the other foster doggy in my home. I love toys, especially balls, and I’ll happily entertain myself or join in for a good game. I also love food… a lot. I’ll even get a little vocal to let you know when I’m hungry. What can I say? A girl knows what she wants. Being food‑motivated makes training easy, and I’m already house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. I’m great with other dogs, kids, and even seniors. I’m currently on allergy meds, but I may not need them all the time. I enjoy playing, but I’m also a champion snuggler who knows how to relax. Walks are one of my favorite things, I get so excited when the harness comes out, and I ride well in the car too. I’d love a family who will play with me, take me on walks, and maybe give me a doggy friend to hang out with. I’m a loving, loyal girl who just wants to be part of someone’s life, whether we’re playing, snuggling, or going on adventures together. My adoption fee is $400. Story
Hi there!  My name is Mickey, I’m about 6 years old and weigh 22 pounds.  I’m a smart, charming guy, and very focused!  My foster mom says I am very athletic and have a ton of personality, and so handsome… that makes my blush!  At this time my trainer feels it would be best for me to be an only dog.   I’m crate trained and leash trained.  I need a home without children, older teens may be okay. Must have a home with fenced yard, no apartment.  I am looking for an active owner or couple who will want to do lots of things with me but is also very patient and will continue my training.  My adoption fee is $150. NO YOUNG CHILDREN.  NO OTHER PETS. MUST HAVE FENCED YARD. MUST AGREE TO ATTEND SEVERAL TRAINING SESSIONS WITH HAPPY VIRTUALLY AND AT A FACILITY IN PRINCETON, TX.  We are always looking for good foster homes. Story
Hello there. My name is Murphy, and I am a 16-year-old lil boy who weighs 22 pounds. I am so lucky this wonderful rescue came and saved me; I did not grow up in a very nice environment. I am a particular little guy; I like to do things on my own terms. I do not like to be forced to do things which makes me upset and nip. I also do not like to share toys or food. I want to be the leader, so I need to be the only dog in the house. I am still learning how to be a dog and still working on my house training and my manners. I do have some hearing loss and need kidney care food because of my age. I absolutely love to be outside and play with stuffies. My ideal home would a person who can teach me manners and who is willing to help me be a better guy. My adoption fee is $100, but if you are a senior yourself (65+), my adoption fee is waived. Must be an only dog. No children. Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts! NOTE:  Hospice fosters have ongoing medical needs that will require care for the rest of their lives. While they remain available for adoption, we carefully screen potential homes to ensure their medical and special needs can be fully supported. BTRNT is committed to providing these dogs with a loving forever home—whether that is through adoption or as a permanent hospice foster within our rescue. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted.
