Story
Dolly is everything you’d expect from a classic Boston Terrier mix — bright, athletic, affectionate, and full of personality. She brings a joyful energy into the room, whether she’s racing around the yard at top speed or showing off her impressive hops. This little athlete can jump straight into your arms from the ground, so a secure yard and supervision around shorter fences will be important for her safety. She has a healthy amount of energy and loves to play, but what makes Dolly truly special is her built-in off switch. She can be zooming around one moment, and the second you sit down, she’s in your lap delivering a quick round of enthusiastic kisses before settling in close for snuggle time. Being near her people is clearly her favorite place to be. Dolly is crate trained, potty trained, and rides well in the car, happily settling in with a chew. She walks nicely on leash and, while she hasn’t been out in public much yet, she continues to show herself as a happy, adaptable girl. She does have a strong instinct to chase squirrels and has shown focused interest in cats through a fence, so a home without cats may be the safest fit. Dog introductions are still pending as she finishes healing, and her future home should be prepared for a confident, energetic play style typical of the breed. At the end of the day, Dolly is a loving, spirited companion who offers both entertainment and affection in equal measure. For someone ready for a playful, devoted shadow with plenty of personality, Dolly may be the perfect match.

Story
Jessie was dumped and some nice people saw her on the county road.  They knew that she would die out there so they brought her home.  She is living in a barn because their dogs are older  and not happy with her presence.  She is good with other dogs and loves playing where the resident dogs do not - thus the problem.  She weighs 25 lbs and they think she is a mix of a Boston Terrier and a Jack Russell Terrier but just a guess.  She is super cute,She's very sweet and smart; she just wants to play and is active.  She has been in this situation for 2 months and getting lonely.  The finders do not want to take her to a shelter. She's probably a year and a half - vet said she's lost all her baby teeth. 25 lbs. Good with other dogs, cats questionable...she likes them but plays rough. She is smart - can  sit and fetch. Loves squeaky toys and treats. She would be amazing in basic training.. ##2581781##

Story
Hi there, I’m Buster, a 7&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old, 24&#226&#128&#145pound Boston Terrier with a big personality, a gentle heart, and a serious love for fetch. If you throw it, I’m getting it. I always like to be the one who wins the race, or I’ll proudly carry my own ball around like a trophy. I’m a playful, energetic guy outside, especially if there’s a water hose involved. Splashing, chasing, zooming… it’s all my idea of a perfect day. But once we’re back inside, I settle right down. I’m relaxed, easygoing, and happy to chew on a bone or toy while you unwind. I’m house trained, crate trained, and very gentle, which makes me a great fit for a senior or someone living in an apartment. I enjoy walks, I love car rides, and I get along best with submissive dogs who don’t mind that I like to be the star of the fetch game. What I want most is someone who will toss the ball for me, laugh at my silly antics, and then snuggle up with me afterward. I’m playful, loyal, and full of love — the perfect mix of fun and companionship. If you’re looking for a sweet boy who brings joy, energy, and great cuddles, I think we’d make a wonderful team. My adoption fee is $300. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Please consider becoming a foster home for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. You can fill out a foster application at   Foster Application | Boston Terrier Rescue Of North Texas  . This will allow you to possibly become a foster home for one of our little Boston Terriers in need. Story
Hi, I’m Gatsby, a friendly and loving 12-year-old gentleman, around 45 lbs. I’m great with dogs and love to be around people. I’m always up for belly rubs, and if you stop petting me, I’ll paw at your hand to let you know I want more! Even at my age, I still get around great—jumping up on the couch without any issues, and I’m very active and spry for 10. I’m house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. I enjoy spending time with my people and following the pack when they go outside. I do have some allergies, but they’re under control now. While I don’t love car rides, I do enjoy short walks, though I’m more of a relaxed guy most of the time. My ideal home would be one where I’m not left alone too much. A yard and a doggie door would be great, but more than anything, I want to be close to you! I’m the perfect couch potato companion. My adoption fee is $100, but if you are a senior yourself (65+) my adoption fee is waived. Thank you for supporting our rescue efforts!    We are always looking for good foster homes. Story
Hi, I’m Flower, a 6&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old, 20&#226&#128&#145pound Boston Terrier girl with a soft heart, a gentle soul, and a whole lot of sweetness to give. At first, I was very shy and timid, unsure of my new surroundings and all the new faces. But once I realized I was safe, I blossomed (I guess my name fits!) and blended right into the doggy pack. Now I love running around with my friends, especially when we’re on squirrel patrol. Chasing squirrels together is one of my favorite games, and at night I curl up and snuggle with my doggy buddies like the little cuddlebug I am. I’m house trained, crate trained, and doing just fine on the leash. I’m wonderful with kids, great for seniors, and I get along well with other dogs — though big dogs can make me a bit unsure. I’m a gentle, relaxed girl who loves soft voices, warm laps, and quiet moments. I do get scared during storms, so I’ll need someone who can reassure me when the thunder rumbles. Car rides? I’m a total lady. I sit politely and enjoy the view. What I’m really hoping for is a patient, loving family who understands my tender heart and will adore me for the sweet, cuddly companion I am. A home with a friendly dog or two would make me so happy — I love having buddies to play with and snuggle. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate girl who just wants to feel safe, loved, and part of a family, I think we might be a perfect match. My adoption fee is $350. Story
Hello there. My name is Murphy, and I am a 15-year-old lil boy who weighs 22 pounds. I am so lucky this wonderful rescue came and saved me; I did not grow up in a very nice environment. I am a particular little guy; I like to do things on my own terms. I do not like to be forced to do things which makes me upset and nip. I also do not like to share toys or food. I want to be the leader, so I need to be the only dog in the house. I am still learning how to be a dog and still working on my house training and my manners. I do have some hearing loss and need kidney care food because of my age. I absolutely love to be outside and play with stuffies. My ideal home would a person who can teach me manners and who is willing to help me be a better guy. My adoption fee is $100, but if you are a senior yourself (65+), my adoption fee is waived. Must be an only dog. No children. Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts! NOTE:  Hospice fosters have ongoing medical needs that will require care for the rest of their lives. While they remain available for adoption, we carefully screen potential homes to ensure their medical and special needs can be fully supported. BTRNT is committed to providing these dogs with a loving forever home—whether that is through adoption or as a permanent hospice foster within our rescue. We are always looking for good foster homes. Story
Rainbow is a 4-year-old frenchie who I acquired through a responsible Texas bulldogs breeder. This decision to rehome hasn’t been easy, and my priority is finding the right long-term fit. Personality-wise, she is affectionate, loyal, and happiest when close to their person and chewing on a bone. She loves short walks, cuddling, lounging in the sun, etc. and does especially well with adults/older kids. Energy level: loves to sleep all day but gets bursts of energy and likes short walks. Training: House-trained, crate-trained, knows basic commands. Health: spayed, she does have allergies and takes daily Apoquel to treat it.

Story
Adorable Suki is looking for a forever home and family.  He is such a sweetheart and loves other dogs.  He is crate trained, walks great on a leash and sleeps all night long.  Suki is almost 100% housebroken and getting better every day.  He is very friendly and has never met a stranger.  Even though his "previous life" was not ideal, he has LOVED settling in to his loving foster home and will do great when his new family finds him and adopts him. https://bit.ly/codys_adoption_application. ##2676301##
