Story
Meet Dixie – Your Ride-or-Die Best Friend Dixie is a Boston Terrier mix girl with a happy heart and a go-everywhere attitude. The moment she sees the car, she’s ready to hop in—adventures are her favorite! Dixie is potty trained, sleeps soundly in her crate, and knows her name well. She’s a wonderful companion who sticks close to her people and follows her foster mom wherever she goes. The second her foster mom sits down, Dixie is right there, climbing into her lap like she belongs (because she thinks she does). She’s playful and fun, especially when it comes to zooming around and playing “king of the couch.” Dixie enjoys her walks but prefers to get where she’s going quickly, so she’s walked with a harness and does best with someone ready to guide her enthusiasm. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate sidekick who wants to be part of everything you do, Dixie is ready to claim her spot—especially if that spot is your lap. ##2590361##

Story
Hi, I’m Chewie! I’m an 11-year-old pup with a youthful spirit and a heart full of love. At just 16 pounds, I’m the perfect size for lap cuddles, backyard zoomies, and everything in between. I’m a smart cookie—potty trained, crate trained, and always eager to please. I listen well and love making my humans happy. Whether it’s chasing toys, soaking up the sun, or flopping over for a belly rub, I bring joy to every moment. I’ve got a gentle soul and a playful streak, and I never say no to attention or snuggles. I’m happiest in a cat-free home, and while I haven’t spilled the beans on how I feel about other dogs just yet, I’d appreciate slow introductions to help me feel safe and comfortable. Also, I am a bit of a door darter, so you'll need to be careful around open doors.  If you’re looking for a bright, affectionate buddy who’ll be your sunshine and your snuggle bug, I’m your guy. Let’s make some memories together! My adoption fee is $100, but if you are a senior yourself (65+), my adoption fee is waived. Chewie takes Vetmedin which costs approximately $60 per month.   Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts! We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Please consider becoming a foster home for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. You can fill out a foster application at Foster Application | Boston Terrier Rescue Of North Texas. This will allow you to possibly become a foster home for one of our little Boston Terriers in need. Story
Hi! I’m Louie, your future best little buddy with the biggest ears you’ve ever seen. I’m only 7 months old, so I’m still growing into them… and honestly, into everything. I’m a super cute baby Boston Terrier with a whole lot of love, wiggles, and puppy charm. I play really well with my sister — we look almost identical, so sometimes people have to double&#226&#128&#145check which one of us is causing the mischief. I’m friendly with everyone I meet, and if you sit down, there’s a very good chance I’ll hop right into your lap. Being held is one of my favorite things in the world. I’m still learning, but I’m a smart boy and I pick things up quickly. I’m potty&#226&#128&#145pad trained, crate trained, and working hard on all the other puppy manners. I love toys — squeaky, bouncy, chewy, you name it — and I’m always ready for a good play session. I’m super cuddly, super playful, and I’ve got energy to spare. A big fenced&#226&#128&#145in yard would make me the happiest boy so I can run, zoom, and explore safely. I’d also love to have  my sister come along. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, snuggly little guy who’s ready to learn and love with his whole heart, I think we might be a perfect match. My adoption fee is $550. AVAILABLE LATE FEBRUARY. Story
Hello there. My name is Murphy, and I am a 15-year-old lil boy who weighs 22 pounds. I am so lucky this wonderful rescue came and saved me; I did not grow up in a very nice environment. I am a particular little guy; I like to do things on my own terms. I do not like to be forced to do things which makes me upset and nip. I also do not like to share toys or food. I want to be the leader, so I need to be the only dog in the house. I am still learning how to be a dog and still working on my house training and my manners. I do have some hearing loss and need kidney care food because of my age. I absolutely love to be outside and play with stuffies. My ideal home would a person who can teach me manners and who is willing to help me be a better guy. My adoption fee is $100, but if you are a senior yourself (65+), my adoption fee is waived. Must be an only dog. No children. Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts! NOTE:  Hospice fosters have ongoing medical needs that will require care for the rest of their lives. While they remain available for adoption, we carefully screen potential homes to ensure their medical and special needs can be fully supported. BTRNT is committed to providing these dogs with a loving forever home—whether that is through adoption or as a permanent hospice foster within our rescue. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted.
