Story
Hi, I’m Petey. I’m a 10‑year‑old Boston boy weighing 35 pounds, with a big heart and an even bigger love for being close to my person. I’m what they call a certified love bug—I follow my foster around the house because being near my human makes me feel safe and happy. Snuggles are my specialty. I’m a quiet guy and never bark. I don’t play much with the other dogs, but I’m starting to get curious about toys… I’m still figuring out what all the fuss is about. I’m a perfect gentleman, still learning the ropes, and I try my very best every day. I’m trained on the potty pad, and I’m great on a leash. I enjoy going on walks and I’m amazing on them—steady, calm, and happy to trot right beside you. I’m good with kids, cats, and dogs, and I’d be a wonderful companion for a senior or anyone who wants a gentle, low‑energy buddy. I love peanut butter and bacon‑flavored treats, cozy naps, and being close enough to feel your warmth. What I’d really love is a home where life is a mix of chill and a little bit of adventure… and where someone wants snuggles all day long. If you’re looking for a sweet, quiet, loyal friend who will adore you with his whole heart, I’m your guy. My adoption fee is $100, but if you are a senior yourself (65+) my adoption fee is waived.   We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Please consider becoming a foster home for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. You can fill out a foster application at   Foster Application | Boston Terrier Rescue Of North Texas  . Story
Hi, I’m Luna — a 2‑year‑old Boston Terrier with 17 pounds of energy, sweetness, and pure joy. I’ve got tons of love to give and even more enthusiasm for life. I play really well with the other dogs in my foster home, and I’m always ready for a good game of chase or a round of zoomies. I’m super loving, and one of my absolute favorite things is cuddling. If you sit down to watch TV, I’ll curl right up in your lap and drift off — I’m a professional snuggler. I’m crate trained and leash trained, and I’m great with kids and cats. I also love swimming in pools — splashing around is the best. Car rides and golf cart rides? Count me in. Walks are another favorite of mine, especially when there are new smells to explore. Toys? Yes, please. Balls, squeakers, chew toys — I love them all. I’m looking for an active family who enjoys walks, adventures, and playtime. A doggy friend to romp around with would be amazing too. I’ve got so much joy, affection, and fun to share, and I can’t wait to find my forever people. My adoption fee is $450. We are always looking for good foster homes. Hello there. My name is Murphy, and I am a 15-year-old lil boy who weighs 22 pounds. I am so lucky this wonderful rescue came and saved me; I did not grow up in a very nice environment. I am a particular little guy; I like to do things on my own terms. I do not like to be forced to do things which makes me upset and nip. I also do not like to share toys or food. I want to be the leader, so I need to be the only dog in the house. I am still learning how to be a dog and still working on my house training and my manners. I do have some hearing loss and need kidney care food because of my age. I absolutely love to be outside and play with stuffies. My ideal home would a person who can teach me manners and who is willing to help me be a better guy. My adoption fee is $100, but if you are a senior yourself (65+), my adoption fee is waived. Must be an only dog. No children. Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts! NOTE:  Hospice fosters have ongoing medical needs that will require care for the rest of their lives. Story
Hi! My name is TJ and oh boy do I love to play ball! I am a very loving and happy 36 pound 6-year-old boy. I am housetrained and crate trained. I have lots of energy and would love a home with an active family. Because of my energy, my foster mom says older kids might be best for me. I am also very protective of my food so I need a family or owner who understands that and how to work with that. I am selective of my doggie friends so, I would do best with a home without dogs. My ideal family would be one who loves to play with me and are looking for a handsome, gentle boy. The most important thing in my life is finding my forever home and family. MUST BE ONLY DOG. My adoption fee is $350.   We are always looking for good foster homes. Story
Hey there! I’m Gus — a 5‑year‑old, 20‑pound red Boston Terrier with a big personality, a soft soul, and a whole lot of charm. I’m cute, I’m quirky, and once I feel safe, I’m a happy, playful little guy who loves being part of the fun. I can be a bit anxious and unsure when I first meet new people or experience something unfamiliar. I just need a little time to warm up. But once I know I’m safe, my whole personality comes out — silly, sweet, and ready to play. I also have a funny little habit of sucking on my blanket when I’m settling in… it’s my comfort move, and honestly, it’s pretty adorable. I’m house trained, doggy‑door trained, leash trained, and I’m a total star on my walks. I love going for walks. I’m great in the car, I enjoy my chew toys, and I’m always up for some playtime. I get along with dogs, but I can be selective with males. Sometimes they’re just not my vibe. A slow, thoughtful introduction helps me feel comfortable and sets me up for success. Cats, though… not for me. What I’m really looking for is a family who appreciates a dog with personality — someone patient, kind, and ready to let me blossom at my own pace. If you love walks, playtime, and a little bit of quirky charm, we might be the perfect match. My adoption fee is $350 We are always looking for good foster homes. Story
Von has been dealing with back issues (slipped disc) for about a year now. There have been two incidents where this has occurred. After the first incident, he regained mobility in his hind end. However, after the second incident (last August), he did not regain that mobility. He can push up and stand on his hind legs, but he cannot walk on his own. We have been treating him with water therapy, electrotherapy, and physical therapy. He loves his wheels and can get around well with them. However, due to the incontinence (which started after the last incident - he used to be house-trained), his mobility issues, and the fact that we have a newborn, I simply don’t have the time to dedicate to his care as I did before. It’s not fair to him. He’s a wonderful dog with a lot of personality and a big heart.

Story
I’m a 4‑year‑old, 24‑pound Frenchie with a big smile, a bigger heart, and just enough mischief to keep life interesting. I’m a jolly fellow through and through — the kind of guy who wakes up ready to play, snuggle, explore, and repeat. I adore playing with my foster brother, and I’m extra gentle with my blind and deaf sister and the senior foster. I just love being part of the pack. I’m cheerful, compliant, and extremely food motivated… which means I’m basically a dream to train. Snacks are my love language. I’m house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and even doggy‑door trained. I’ve got plenty of energy and enthusiasm, but I’m also super cuddly and gentle. If you let me, I’ll happily snooze right in your bed — that’s my favorite place to be. Now, full honesty: if I get bored, I will find my own entertainment. I’m not naughty, just… creatively curious. Give me toys, adventures, and a buddy to play with, and I’m golden. I love going on walks, riding in the car, and being part of whatever my humans are doing. I’d be happiest with an active family and a playful friend to romp around with. If you’re looking for a joyful, snuggly, food‑loving little guy who brings sunshine wherever he goes, I’m your Teddy. My adoption fee is $700. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Story
Hi there, I’m Nova! I may only be 1 year old and 16 pounds, but trust me—I pack a whole lot of joy, wiggles, and personality into this tiny Frenchie body. I’m a beautiful little girl with a big heart, and I love cuddling just as much as I love zooming around and playing. I get along great with all the other dogs and especially love to wrestle and chase my ball. Fetch is my specialty—I’ll proudly bring it right back so we can keep the fun going. I’ve got lots of energy, so playtime is one of my favorite parts of the day. I’m also a very good girl in the house. I’m trained with the doggy door, and I’m house, crate, and leash trained too. I’m good with kids, I enjoy walks, and I’m a happy little co‑pilot on car rides. What I’d really love is a family with kids and another dog who wants to play with me. I’m a sweet, active, cuddly girl who just wants to be part of the fun—and part of the snuggles. If you’re looking for a tiny best friend with a big zest for life, I think we might be a perfect match. My adoption fee is $850. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted.
