Story
Jazzy is just over a year old. We rescued her at about 6 weeks old. She is cute, eneregetic, loving, playful, and a very happy dog! Though, she isn't the smartest. It absolutely breaks our heart to have to rehome her! Both her and our other dog, Simone, are female Pit Boxer mixes. Now that Jazzy has reached maturity she is showing signs of female-female aggression towards Simone. Simone has anxiety, and after Jazzy has challenged her a few times, she's already fearful of her. So, if you have another female dog, especially if it's a bully breed, Jazzy is probably not a good fit. However, if you don't, she would make the most fun and loving addition to your family! She is high energy, and very playful, so she needs plenty of room to play and run. We'll do a meet and greet to see how you two are together. We have her kennel, a brand new bed, dog bowls, dog food container, and leash that we would include with her to make the transition as easy as posssible for both of you.

Story
On the way to the bark park, Brodie walked the long kennel corridor with disinterested dignity as he ignored the cacophony of jealous well-wishers who understandably wanted to be the chosen one. His courageous, courteous attitude continued throughout the entire photo session. Brodie is a remarkable fun-loving canine who will surprise you with his spontaneous smiles as he invites you to join in the bark park frolic adventure. Two-year-old Brodie enjoys being up close for a soft touch and really wants to please his human. At the end of the session, he instantly responded to a “come here” call from all the way across the park. running at full speed with a smile on his face. When he reached the human, he performed an immediate sit while looking up with a “what do you want me to do next?” gaze. Brodie is a quiet, responsive canine who will bring cheerful energies and a happy liveliness into your home.

Story
When you enter the bark park with Molly, she may show you a moment of understandable wariness as she looks for reassurance of your kind, peaceful intentions. And then Molly’s from-the-heart smiles will return and she will bring a relaxed smile to your face as well. Ten-month-old Molly has never experienced a narcistic thought in her young life but is certainly deserving of that consideration as she shares her cute, admiring expression with everyone she meets. Molly enjoys playtime with other canines and convinced her kennel mate Milly to join in the bark park adventure. Molly has a quiet, unassuming personality and will be a huggable, lovable best forever friend.

# Kennel Card Bio I'm CJ, also known as Jasper — a 6-year-old grey and white Boxer mix with a playful spirit and a sharp mind! 🐕 I'm neutered, energetic, and great with kids 10 and up, but I need to be your one and only dog in a home without cats. I do have some sensitivities: I get scared during storms and fireworks, and I need my own space during mealtime since I'm protective of my food. If you're looking for a smart, spirited companion who thrives in a single-dog household, I could be your perfect match — my adoption fee is just $90! Come meet me today. 💪

Story
Are you looking for a playmate for your dog? Moo is the perfect playmate! He is a medium sized gorgeous black and white mixed breed. DOB is 6/23/2024. Moo is housetrained, great with kids, and other dogs. He isn't great around cats though. His favorite things to do are playing with his dog friends and snuggling with his human friends. Moo is very dependent on other dogs and thrives being around them he gains courage while around other dogs, he is a very submissive boy who would fit in easily with other dogs. Moo is very timid with new people at first, but with a bit of patience and lots of yummy treats he can easily be won over! Here is what his cold weather foster has to say: He is such a sweetheart and deserves a home and family. He thrives around other dogs, which you already know. I wouldn’t recommend him being in a home with cats. Ours have been in hiding with him here. He just wants to feel safe and have a person or dog to snuggle with. All of our pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open from 9am-4pm, seven days a week. No appointment needed for adopters. For more information, email havenozarksanctuary@gmail.com, or give us a call at 417-835-3647. Save time at the shelter and submit your adoption application at www.havenoftheozarks.org/adopt.
