Story
Moon Pie's Story Meet Moon Pie 2 Years Old | 80 lbs | Spayed | UTD on Vaccines | House Trained Moon Pie is an 80-pound athlete wrapped in pure affection. She will be two years old on June 27 and is a Boxer × Hanging Tree mix — which means brains, drive, and heart in one powerful package. Her story began with resilience. She survived a severe back injury after being trapped under a pallet. A veterinarian stepped in, treated the wound, and gave her the second chance she deserved. You’ll see the scar — it’s part of her story, not a limitation. Moon Pie is deeply people-oriented. She believes she is a lap dog. She thrives on connection, attention, and having “her person.” Temperament & Home Needs * Loves people * High energy, working-dog drive * House trained * Spayed (September 11) * Up to date on vaccinations She does well with a small dog in her current home, but she has had conflict with a similarly sized, high-energy dog. For everyone’s safety and success, we are recommending: ✔ An only-dog home, or ✔ A home with a calm, opposite-sex dog after proper introduction ✔ Experienced handler preferred ✔ Secure fencing required ✔ Active lifestyle strongly encouraged This is not a couch-potato dog. Moon Pie will excel with structure, exercise, and clear leadership. Think hiking partner, property companion, training enthusiast, or someone who understands working-line energy. She is not aggressive toward people. She is powerful, athletic, and needs management that matches her drive. Ideal Home Someone who: * Appreciates strong, smart dogs * Understands arousal management * Provides daily mental and physical outlets * Wants a loyal, affectionate companion Moon Pie isn’t difficult — she’s driven. There’s a difference.

Story
Roscoe is the definition of a resilient soul! He was found abandoned at his rescuer's workplace. Despite his rough start in life, it has not dampened his spirit! It has only made his capacity to love more impressive. Roscoe is incredibly sweet and loving. He is a velco dog in the making. Once he knows he can trust you, he is all about affection and gentle companionship. He would thrive in a home that offers him patience, kindness, and plenty of belly rubs as he learns that the world is a safe place now.To make the best possible match for you and the pet, please follow the link below to complete the Adoption Application. Once your application has been processed, we'll be in contact. We cannot schedule a meet and greet without a completed application.
