Four-year-old Brandy is a beautiful girl looking for a calm home. Brandy was extremely leery of meeting new people when she first arrived at Satchel’s but the commitment and love of her Woof Pack leader has given her so much more confidence. Brandy and her WP leader have been going to our off-site events and meeting new people is now much easier for Brandy. She is always excited for the next adventure, and rides well in the car. Brandy can be a little aloof at first, but once she’s comfortable with you, her personality comes out and she shows off her playful side. Playing fetch with her friends in our shelter yard is a big plus for this little girl. She has recently started Fitpaw training now offered at Satchel's and is showing off her intelligence. Heading home for an afternoon visit with her WP leader, Pam, makes for one happy, playful pup. Brandy doesn’t seem to care for other dogs and would likely prefer to be your only canine companion. This pint-size gal (approximately 45 lbs.) is ready for adventure! She walks great on a leash, knows all the basic commands and is just pure FUN! She might take a bit to warm up, but give this girl time and you will be the lucky recipient of her love!!! ❤️ Rolly is still waiting for his forever family ❤️ It’s hard to believe this big, beautiful boy has been with us for 3 months without a single application. 🥺 Rolly is the kind of dog you meet once and wonder how anyone could resist him. At about 2 years old and 81 pounds, Rolly is a big guy with an even bigger heart. Those gorgeous hazel eyes get attention everywhere he goes, and his tall, sturdy build has us guessing Weimaraner, Lab, Mastiff—or maybe a little bit of everything! Whatever his mix, there’s no denying he’s one handsome boy. 😍 Rolly is fun, playful, affectionate and wonderful with dogs of all sizes. He absolutely loves his canine friends and has a blast running, playing and being part of the pack. He also loves people and will happily soak up every bit of attention and affection you’re willing to give. He’s an active guy who would love a family ready to include him in their adventures - walks, playtime, training, zoomies and plenty of couch cuddles afterward. Andee was a rescue which we adopted around 10 weeks old. She has a lot of love to give. She does well with other large dogs. Does not socialize well with small dogs. She has some food protection issues. There needs to be care taken around feeding time with other pets and human household members.

The angels at GOFAR heard about me and came and rescued me.I appear to be a boxer and/or mastiff mix, estimated at around 4 years old and weigh approximately 90lbs. I am very sweet and well-behaved- I think that is how I got my name! I walk well on leash and follow the pace the volunteers set. I know how to sit and take treats gently. I really don’t like messing in my kennel; as long as we can work together to set a routine/schedule, I should do fine in the house. I am friendly with other dogs and did well in play groups with larger dogs - my rescue thinks I would be best suited for homes without smaller or high-energy dogs. I have such a gentle and easy-going personality that the rescue thinks I would be fine in a family with children. I am looking for my furever family- someone that will love and care for me the same way I will for them. She is good with kids/infants. Loves toys! can so aggressive behavior to other dogs over toys or territory , but on a daily basis she is good. She is the leader of the pack. Feeds off ur feelings. Very protective, she doesn’t let other dogs on ur lap or if u show other dog attention she will react. Walks on a leash right next to you. In public on leash she will growl at other people or dogs that get too close to you or her without proper introduction. She has had 3 cycles and not spade.

Xena is the sweetest old girl who just wants someone to love on her. She is 14, but you would never know it. She loves to play and be outside; she will be your shadow and just wants to know what is going on. She does not like thunder or other dogs. To my knowledge, she has never interacted with cats, and she does okay around kids but shouldn't live with them, as they make her very anxious. She came to me about a year ago from a friend who couldn't take her to her new home. She is a rescue dog who was originally used as a breeder before she was found. She is very loved, and it pains me to let her go, but she isn't happy in my home because I have a 2-year-old. She loves walks but needs to be on a leash. If left unattended, she will dig in the backyard and lie in said hole. I want to find her someone who can give her lots of love in her final years, and I am willing to maintain contact and help out with her needs if needed.
