Story
I am a gentle girl with lots of love to give! I am great with kids and love being part of a family so I can soak up all the love and attention. I walk nicely on a leash and enjoy peaceful strolls just as much as cuddling up for quiet time at home. I would do best as the only dog in the household — but I don`t mind the company of cats! If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s ready to be your best friend, I’m right here waiting. Let’s start our forever together!Loves cuddling. Walks great on leash.Weighs around 45 lbs.

Story
Jojo is being fostered in Illinois. She has some vision. Hi. My name is Jojo. I am a 4-year-old boxer mix. I like to think of myself as a playful happy-go-lucky gal. I may not see you well because close objects are like shadows and a little blurry to me, but I know you are there. I get along well with all the cats and dogs in my foster home. I like cats. But I may need slow introductions with little feisty dogs. But I would love to go to a home that has many friendly 4-legged buddies. I like to be active and meet people and other dogs. However, I am not too good with children because a lot of time kids either approach me too fast or gather around me, which makes me so scared that I have to give a warning snap. But I do love my walks. Even more, I love an open field that I can have all to myself so I can let out a lot of my energy. At home, I like to relax and sit at my spot while my foster daddy is doing his work. Everyday, I get to be petted and it makes me feel loved. I am housebroken. However, every once in a while, I have accidents because anxiety gets the best of me when I realize my foster dad has not been home for a while. I will do well in a home where someone is present 90-95 percent of time, perhaps with someone who works out of home or is an active retired person. Blind Dog Rescue has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Henry is a sweet 8 month old boxer. He is full of boxer energy. He loves long road trips, naps, carrots, dog parks, and playing with our daughter's cat. Hes been around newborns through teens and loves to play and snuggle. He is pure, 100% boxer, and all the playful, high energy needs that come with the breed. There is a rehomeing fee, to help identify serious families. We purchased Henry from a breeder for 1100, and even adoption centers will run a couple hundred if not more - we want to protect Henry and also understand that adoption can be expense and we do want to make it accessible. So that he finds a loving home. He was recently neutered, also to ensure he wouldn't live a life of breeding, since he is pure with papers.

Story
Meet Pickle, a charming senior gentleman who knows what he likes and isn’t afraid to show it! While he may be a bit set in his ways, Pickle still has a playful side—especially when treats are involved. With the right motivation, he’s more than happy to learn a few new tricks He already knows “sit” and “paw,” and enjoys showing off his skills for a tasty reward. Pickle would do best in a home that appreciates his laid-back lifestyle and respects his preferences, while still offering him opportunities for gentle enrichment and bonding.***Thanks to a generous donor, Pickle will go home with a FREE adoption success kit (includes a crate, collar, leash, and other goodies)!!!*** padding-bottom: 0; box-shadow: 0 2px 8px 0 rgba(63,69,81,0.16); margin-top: 1.6em; margin-bottom: 0.9em; overflow: hidden; border-radius: 8px; will-change: transform;`>

Story
Vinny, the sweetest 80 pound "chihuahua" boy known to man. He loves hiking, car rides, the fluff inside of his toys, balls, beach runs and most of all his people. Vinny really deserves the best life. HE IS AN INSIDE DOG! He was raised with chickens, goats, raccoons, squirrels, 20 dogs, and a lot of cats. Unfortunately, we are relocating for work, so we are looking for adopters to help us dissolve our small rescue. Most of these animals have been abandoned. We get them healthy, vaccinated, fixed and acclimated and then find them suitable homes. Usually time is not an issue, relocating on the other hand makes this a little time pressing. Please help us by providing a loving, stable environment for this sweet boy.
